I've been out of Warhammer for a while, but after seeing

I've been out of Warhammer for a while, but after seeing that the Dryads are getting a Tree Dreadknight, Orion's younger brothers and a Big Bad Beetleborg, I'm tempted to get back in.
What does /tg/ thing of this shit? Are we still calling GW hacks for everything they put out? I seem to vaguely remember something about new management trying to repair the damaged bonds with customers, did that ever amount to anything?

Did this really need an entire thread? just go to the AoS general, most of the people there are pretty happy with the newer releases, particularly the new Ironjawz and Sylvaneth. The points being added in also did away with a lot of the shitposting about AoS not being a real game. however, everyone has opinions, you will have people who will hate anything AoS comes up with simply because they think GW destroyed their setting and they can't play with rulebooks that came out 3-5 years ago

/tg/ hates AoS. But they make some great models. And some really dorky models.

AoS was a total shitshow but GW is at least attempting to fix it now with the general's handbook and adding back in point costs. Still doesn't fix the weird ass setting though.

>What does /tg/ thing of this shit?
models are cool, opinions still mixed on everything else

Scope out local shops, decide for yourself. Online communities are an awful judge of how much you'll enjoy a tabletop game.

>Did this really need an entire thread?
Huh. Not saying you're wrong, but I remember when /tg/ was 70% Warhammer threads at all times and nobody really cared.
Did that change while I was away, or something?
>>48105094
Yeah, I'm hoping someone will put together backwards compatible 7e rules.

>did that ever amount to anything?
Starting boxes with good discounts, specialist games, remake of white dwarf, teasers of releases, contact with tournament scene and podcasts, community sites, global campaign, feedback with FAQs and the arrival of point system and army structure finally, procedural reintroduction of magic items and magic lores (despite less complex than the old).

If only the change of setting hadn't been so drastic...

Stupid faglord newfags trying to shove everything in a general and don't realize generals are fucking trash and /vg/ went from good at day 1 to fucking worse than /b/ in less than 2 years.

Take a look at the bottom threads on this board. So many threads with 0 replies or under 20 posts. Those are the ones being knocked off the board by a random warhammer thread, so why the fuck not? Who gives a shit. This is the warhammer board anyway, created specifically for fucking warhammer. Don't see these quest faggots even using their goddamn quest board and these faglords are going to complain about warhammer threads on the warhammer board.

Speak for yourself mate. Some don't agree.
>>
>>48105156
>people with bad taste and bitterness over WHFB don't agree

It's clearly selling enough to justify the constant deluge of new plastic machines and selling better than WHFB was.

Not the other anon, nor going to argue about the, variable, quality of concepts and models, but
>selling better than WHFB was

I'm really tempted to get into Age of Sigmar because of these Sylvaneth models.
They look god damn amazing.

>>48105156
some should speak up instead of being passive aggressive cunts

The dwarves look like shit. Rest of the them look okay and these new trees look dope. I kinda like the idea of this Conan/norse setting but longest time was just salty cause other setting was killed for it.
