Has anyone ever made a decent tabletop/p&p game around pro wrestling?
I don't know about made but we played one. It was amazing.

There are a couple of good systems. World Wide Wrestling is one, there's another one with a very similar name. One is based on an old system but new and improved by fans of the original, the other is an Apocalypse Engine game and is also well received by wrestling fans.

Neat. These actually sound somewhat promising.

I think the other one is "Wide World of Wrestling" -- I can never remember which is which.

World Wide Wrestling is the Apocalypse Engine game. The other one is Wild World Wrestling, and is hacked from the old WWE Know Your Role game, with most of the retarded d20 bits gutted out.

Those names, man.

Wild World Wrestling is my go-to. It's just fun. It has the right amount of crunch and enough narrative aspects to really make feuds and promos interesting. Most other wrestling systems are tragically mediocre, like that Apocalypse Engine one. I can't stand Apocalypse Engine.
