Author here, am currently remaking it because I already hate the presentation and how much of a dick I presented DK as.
No major balance changes apart from rewording some things and adding more options but I also added factions.
Removed equipment because, really, it wasn't required and didn't add anything apart from padded the CYOA.
Apart from that, new version is a condensed 6 pages.
Should be done in a couple hours since I'm up to re-writing companions and I don't have anything better to do today.

To get someone's soul, you have to convince your victims to give you their soul. You can't get souls without consent. But you can kill them afterwards as a sacrifice too. Ritual killings don't grant any bonuses, they are the only way you can do normal sacrifices to fuel your spells (since you didn't take the classic discipline).

This would be even better if I could step outside to feel the wind properly. Especially if the Cloudy option can cycle between extremely dense clouds blown by strong winds to having a few breaks here and there so the moon can shine through, then back again. And if you could control the feeling of incoming rain on the wind. Not the smell, though that's nice too, the actual physical sensation that lets you know a storm is coming, when it's coming, and how big it is up to a day before it actually hits.

As long as you get a person to say "I give you my soul", it's being given to you. Your victims have to make this choice consciously, you can't just write "taking your soul" in a fine print in paper contract, which they will miss, and expect this to work.

To design personality of a homunculus you'll need spells from the Usurpation aspect. Without you'll just a blank state whose personality will be shaped by its experiences. You can set its appearence though.

Level 1 Homunculus will be limited to what is humanly possible, what you described requires Level 2.

Jack would finally get some good middle/high tier powers, and his experience would be really useful, satellite can take a support role with more tinker powers, and Seraphim can be the heavy hitter of our group.
There still the danger of kidnapping, but good luck to anyone who wants to try when I have a endbringer watching over my shoulder 24/7.

The world would probably be around half water, with a sea covering the half opposite my castle. The rest would be vaguely natural, albeit skewed towards large-tree forests and fertile plains.
Into that, I bring the ~3000 people who would most want to come here if given the choice (and don't have any dangerous physical, mental, or genetic disorders, and won't cause significant trouble if they disappear, and...).
I'd give them technology from the castle, recommend they set up cities around the Towers, and help them in other ways like protecting them from attacks. In exchange, I'd have a pseudo-college set up to research new technology and/or magic, as well as keep me grounded.

It's hard to say, because the various rooms aren't explained in enough depth to really differentiate between luxury/standard/defensive variants. The way I'm playing it is that you gain all the benefits of a room type, but with an emphasis on either luxury/standard/defensive elements.
So if you wanted a more luxurious recreation room, the spectral denizens would be more aesthetically appealing and seductive, but would have less athletic/artistic talent. The brothel would be amazing, but the sports would be casual and the various arts would be amateur level.
