What if one of the intial colony fleets sent out from terra got put off course in the warp. Winding up on the other end of the galaxy along with their entire stc database. And this section of the galaxy was unraped by warp storms during the age of strife. The biggest kickers would be their extended access to their stc database and their men of iron not going killroy.

Now the real questions to ask is how did they prevent psykers from ripping holes into the immaterium. And how they stopped their men of iron from going killroy, well the answer to the first question is somewhat simple. The first thing is the men of iron didnt go killroy the second is that they started placeing human brains in them coginator style.

The psykers would have had to be either killed right off the bat or suppresed to such a degree to be useless to demons. Which is harder than it sounds.

So what would the imperium do upon encountering this small yet powerful enclave of dark age of technology humans? Their thousands of years of technological advancement and their scores of men of iron would try the imperium greatly. Especially if they would be strong enough to hold off the ork invasions for so long. The biggest issue I could see cropping up is the humans worshipping the men of iron as their god protectors.

If it's at all new or different, it's heresy. Purge purge purge purge purge.

>But what if it might make things better for the imperium

Then it's contrary to the grimdarkness of 40k and must be PURGED.

>but

PUUUUURRRRRRGGGGGE!!!

Could they even manage to purge dem doe? Thats the real question, away from the astronomicons light would make it much harder to PURGE these heretical pretty people.

By small I mean an entire subsector of the imperium small.

The imperium can still pull far more men, supplies and other shit to throw at these guys. If its as much of a threat as it 'seems' to be laid out, they'll fucking do it in a heart beat.

Yeah good point the mechanicus alone could rekt them take the stcs and leave. GG no re.
>>
>>47974763
That seems pretty unlikely since the imperial weapons are actually less advanced than some of what we have today if you look at the actual published stats or what they do on the tabletop so somebody with actual 40,000 years of advancement would undoubtedly ass-rape the savages of the imperium in its entirety.

I'd like to point you towards the Russian/German battles during WW2. Sheer manpower and resources always beat out a limited enemy,

Or more likely that writters can't into physics, science,
nor math.

I'd love to see those stats.
Because people either pull the Baneblade RHAe without knowing what RHAe means or that one homemade pistol with retarded stats and then claim it's equivalent to all bullet weapons the Imperium uses.

Yeah but still they would be outside of the astronomicons light. You know how fucking hard it is to warp travel that way? Also why hasn't the imperium shit on the tau yet eh? If were talking about a mechanicus explorator fleet they would be out classed by over 10 thousand years of advancement. The imperium is 10 thousand years behind, they would more than likely be close to necron levels at this point.

Tau WAS gonna be destroyed then warpstorms son. The DAOT however would be destroyed because its 'muh grim dark' then.

>You know how fucking hard it is to warp travel that way?
Not hard at all - it's done all the time. You just need two ships leapfrogging each other, using each other as a local 'mini-astronomicon'. Range is much shorter.

>Such is the will of the Gods.

Heresy!
>>

It's already happened several times, don't have the pics here though.
tl;dr:
>Give it all up or get fucked.

When is the last time you had a gun you could charge in a camp fire?

Where is your nova cannon that has a splash zone 150,000km wide?
