Same OP from the weird fucking spiders thread here. The same idiot bard wants to use the Grease spell and a surfboard to move faster than normal walking pace over long distances, and he wanted to know the most ground he can cover with one grease spell.

tell your bard he's retarded
>>
He needs to look in the spell section because it tells him.

Might want to kick him from the group or restrict him to non spell casters.

alright I just read over the grease section in the SRD and it's exactly like you say. Strongly considering kicking him or telling him to quit being a tard in general.

good work on kicking him anon

Either that or regulate him to barbarian and keep any and all of his weapon stats the same when he starts trying to beat people with stuff.

He can either cast it on the ground and cover an area that is (as I recall) about 10 feet on a side, thus traveling about 10 feet on the slippery ground. Or he can cast it on his surfboard and try to use the slippery board to travel as far as he wants... and fall flat on his ass every time he tries to ride it, because he's trying to ride a surfboard covered in grease.

At this point, and based on your past threads, you might as well just completely stop giving a shit and let your players do whatever they want until they realize it's actually pretty boring to just "WTF RANDUMB" their way through everything. Then maybe they'll grow up and want to play a real game.

Alternatively stop playing 3.5/Pathfinder.

Grease covers a ten-foot square. That's the most ground he can cover with a Grease spell. Furthermore, greasing a surfboard would not make it work on land any more than a literal greased surfboard would work on land. He's a retard and so are you.

Also, you are a filthy liar who is not actually DMing anything but merely trolling /tg/.

Technically, he could go up to 10√2 (14 or so) feet if he rode along the diagonal.

A slope

A snowy area

Get a surfboard, grease it up, and tell him that his PC can ride it as far as he can.

A board enchanted with levitation or a new spell snailsurf(?, speed of a slime or ooze, summons an ooze to carry your board?) would handle the unevenness of normal ground and dirt or gravel roads.

Small paladins with unicorn jelly mounts.
Mini chariot "saddle" or elephant box rather than just a board?

Why?
