Shiva the destroyer actually IS planned to show up in my campaign next session. I've got to put her on demi-god tier power though since she's not in full god form. Give me ways to make the battle absolutely insane, I've got a couple of things, but I would love Anons input. I'm running GURPS with heavy focus on Cinematic Combat. The players are Dante from Devil May Cry power level without his demon form stuff or Neo from The Matrix. So basically they are CUHHRAYZZZEEEE and the more cool cinematic stuff the better.

Speed and Multiple arms are a great start. One of her big aspects is time, so you could fluff her speed as time shenanigans. Also, emphasize her bloodthirst. While she's worshiped as a destroyer of evil, nearly every depiction of her is a blood-crazed berserker. Also, try to incorporate dancing. Maybe as a fighting style.
Having defeated and absorbed the power of creation from Amaterasu, Odin, and Osiris, as well as a smattering of lesser gods, the party would stand a chance. Shiva is still a few leagues above them so I'd imagine some fable-hero trickery would be due to defeat him.

Shiva, like many others have already said is bro tier god. He is overwhelmingly powerful and can destroy the universe by dancing, which makes everyone else look like fucking try hards by comparison.
However, Shiva doesn't really fuck up shit with out good reason. Unless certain major events happen or the cycle reaches certain points he won't do much other than chill and do Hindu god shit, mainly sitting at his mountain meditating, and fucking. However he is bro tier cause he loves giving people gifts. Like if anyone prays to him enough or shows enough devotion he will give them anything. Shiva will provide a great opportunity for a neutral deity in the campaign. The BBEG, or even minor villains could have received a boon or a weapon from him, or the party could try to gain his favor for same stuff. Either way he will most likely be impartial to most shit.

What you say is shows how deeply it rooted in mercantile relations with magical beings. What piety is it if true intention is selfish at heart? Speed is a huge part of her aspect. She is the destructive aspect of time where all light and life will be consumed by the void or reduced to ash.
The main legend with her is of an unkillable demon warrior who had learned the secret martial arts of all the war gods gained, in addition to all that, the ability to create reflexively a fully-formed fully healed duplicate of himself from even a single drop of blood.
The various war gods tried to stop him and his army from assaulting the heavens and promptly killed his army and created an new army of clones of the big bad.
Some other stuff happened and the gods knew they were screwed so they called on the goddess of light and energy to bring forth her destructive aspect who was so fearsome the war gods had to look away or be killed. It happened before, if someone just impress him he will give you any gift. I believe there is a limit on the word "gift", because a gift is something FOR YOU, I am not sure if you could ask him to destroy itself (I am not even sure if destruction can be destroyed).
On a legends. Some guy just asked the power to destroy everything that his hands touch. And of course, the first thing that he tried was to touch Shiva... But Shiva is a great dancer, probably had spent some million points on DEX and just run away.. well the guy pursuit him....
VishNu, the omnipotent "adoptive brother" of Shiva fixed that..... There is nothing that VishNu cant fix. And tricked the guy to do the most costliest facepalm on the multiverse.
There is another legend where one person asks for Shiva to live inside his stomach, and he did, he just get his "home sweet home" board and just did. When his wife complained, VishNu fixed that.
The problem is not only Shiva, is his family. It depends on if it is the aspect of the Daimon that is referred to as Shiva or a faerie taking on the role of Shiva.
In the case of the former, well, it's best to figure out what caused the Daimon to send it's aspect into the world. In the case of the former, don't play along with the story or try to change the fae (as that is what it probably wants). In either case, Almighty God will keep it from doing terribly much damage.
