If they don't multiclass out of Fighter by level 3, you can already exclude the fighter from team strategies, since such character will be only a deadweight. If he's the bait, he'll need to be saved. If he's a meatshield, he'll need constant help or die. If he's the damage dealer, he'll be lacking on the "damage" part.
Honestly, fighters are better off just grabbing a longbow and sniping. Stay far away and try not to be picked out by the enemy mages and archers. Don't get in the way of the barbarian's killing spree - and now shush, I need to concentrate on this spell. And no, I won't waste buffs on you.

I disagree wholeheartedly. A character doesn't become more interesting because it isn't human. If a bad roleplayer picks a non-human race, they're more then likely to act like a human with a different skin color. It really begs the question of how different these "humanoid" races are. Presumably that non-human character has a different cultural background, which may or may not be determined by the GM's world building. But if the player doesn't flesh that out, their race selection had everything to do with stats and racial abilities.

The problem I think a lot of writers have with women is they either have too low an opinion of them or too high.
If they don't think very highly of women, or they just don't really understand them, the characters often come off as whiny, unlikable, insecure deadweight. Insert Red Pill "implying that isn't true" comment here.
If they put women on some kind of pedestal, writers create women who are hypercompetent badasses with hardly any flaws at all, and the whole thing just feels like some kind of shallow power fantasy. I like both, and whenever I watch one, I always end up watching the other.

Personally, I prefer Aliens. It's a textbook example of how an action movie is done right across basically all fields.
Alien is still pretty good but as a horror movie I feel it falls a little short of quite a few others. Maybe I'm just biased because in my opinion it really hasn't aged all that well. If I absolutely had to watch one or the other I'd choose Aliens.
Now I know Terminator is the other big "is the sequel or original better?" movie debate. That one I think is even more difficult. But I'd definitely say I prefer the first one at the end of the day.

Ninjutsu if I remember correctly. Like in a fight each side has a finite amount of competency which is spread out among all the members of that.
Like if one guy fights ten, the one guy has all his sides ninjutsu, whereas the ten guys have to spread it out amongst themselves. Also, generally being more visually distinct from your comrades gets you a greater share of ninjutsu

The faggots on TVTropes call this "Conservation of Ninjitsu". It refers to martial arts movies where ninjas become exponentially more dangerous the few of them there are.

In Skullgirls you can have 1-2-3 fighters, with the damage/life dropping the more fighters you have.
AFAIK at the moment the best strategy is to have 3, because this gives you ridiculous combo potential, and you can call them to assist (something a solo character can't do, and a duo team can do less often). I think this is on some level intentional, because the game is meant as an homage to the MvC games.
A solo character has a huge disadvantage in that it can't cover herself (or, now with Beowolf and Big Band, possibly himself) with assists, making it a lot harder to escape or create pressure.
With all that said, a 3 player team calling in assists makes itself vulnerable to happy birthdays, and some single characters can exploit that (mostly those with god tier reversals).
It's actually a pretty nice system.

It's like fuckin people progress from wanting 1 thing to a 2nd thing and then thing 3, which is kinda like thing 1 when it comes to what they want from a fantasy game, or a Table top RPG the more they play...
Like you start out wanting to be aragorn because you know shit about character building, character arcs, thematization expressing personality with subtlety, etc. and so you play something you don't really understand but think it's cool and whatever...
Then you start branching out and making characters who are Wizard/Warlock/Sorcerer/Summoner/Chemist/Cleric/Black Wizard/White Mage/Mage/Arch-Mage/High-Arch-Mage/Master-High-Arch-Mage
because you've gotten bored of the simplicity of whacking things in the face and so do a complete 180° and try to be as much of a special snowflake as RAWingly possible while believing that your story about being the 7th descendant of an ancient fukboi who had dragon semen-blood is a sufficient excuse of a character...
And then some bounce back and just want to play a simple character whose appeal or interest is human drama... no dragon descedants, or fireball throwing wizards or raging orc and rather just play a person
A person whose own reckless and unbridled passion for his own craft led to the demise of the one he cared for the most and so he doesnt not love himself, has prejudices for others who have a passion they pursue, general distaste for those who treat their loved ones poorly, etc.
