Front Mission 5 if you have a hacked PS2, no, you don't have to bother with the simulators, no, the grind isn't necessary, even hard mode can be beaten with store bought parts. AC:VD if you have friends to play with because the English online is pretty dead otherwise, I think there's still a group of people in the general on /vg/.
