Last time we finally ran into a remnant from the same megacorp of ourselves. We moved to a new area that while dangerous holds great riches. We established our bases and started to look around to see what we could find.

Action 1 + 2
Our building superstructures have been built. now to just rebuild the actually stuff inside/around it.

BEGIN THE RECONSTRUCTION! Of everything.

In order:
1. The Corps manufacturing
2. The Heavy Construction Facilities + Pre-Fabrication fields
3. The outer defenses built by BANE a while ago, that weren't part of our original facility (unless those were included as pat of the superstructure).
4. SAMFAP Artillery networks for all our bases
5. The military facilities (Artillery Academy/Tank Training Ground/Power Armor & Combat training facility)
6. Paramilitary Hotel
7. Food Monster Colloseum
8. Hydroponics
9. Think Tank Stuff

Is that everything we used to have?

Well, we had a minefield that we failed comically at installing. Can't think of anything else, but I don't know if non-bandits will like the Colosseum as much. Might be better to rebuild as regular fast food shops. But still experiment with the food monsters on the side.

"That's just great!

I don't know if there are any aquifers around, but I think if we get connected to the upper reaches of the mountain the frost can be made into water.

JAL, how about this. Do you think given time you could try to take over one of the nearby mountains from the inside? I mean, like slowly fight off and kill any monsters that tend to dwell in those caves from the inside and make it safe for us to build on."

"Water is easy. Highest concentration its indicated to be on the slope on the same side as the megacity. In other words the opposite from ours. In addition the megacity has extensive water sources. If necessary we can attempt to tap into some of the megacity's surviving systems or tap into the snowmelt of the mountain."

"Depends on the mountain. Retaking a mined out mountain or a mining mountain is one thing. Taking an untouched mountain is another. As for monster elimination while time consuming I can manage it. As well as harvest all kinds of goodies from the monsters. Unfortunately I have already detected evidence of intelligent monster wildlife including possible Brood."

"Also detected brood spores among a species of zombie. I can guarantee there is at least one brood hive in the megacity. Its fortunate the Brood has long been divided and also got their ass kicked by the Fall. Not to mention their incapability with tech."

"Gotta watch out for their magics and psionics. Especially biotech they may not be able to interface worth a damn with other techs and that is nothing but a blessing. My own Brood forces however do not suffer tech interface problem. Unique mutation due to founder who somehow managed to bypass the problem. No idea how she managed that. Got me infested to boot."

>>47809073
Then I suggest using construction materials.

Doing so with megacorp facilities and resources will garuantee an additional upgrade to all our new constructions even while only using common materials.

Action 2

Hmm

Would it be more cost effective to have JAL try to make better construction toolbots, or more tools for the workers directly?
>>
Rolled 40 (1d100)

>>47810550
How about

Action 1
Jal + Ginny
It has been noted that there are a lot of wrecks here and the terrain may be difficult due to previous heavy corps actions and warfare. I do not know how this compares to our last canyon place, but I think a good idea is for Jal and Ginny to develop construction exoskeletons.

Not as complex as warfare power armor, but more devoted to the duties of the engineer such as using Jaws of life to render steel apart, heavy hydraulics to life large weights, and an assortment of tools for the average worker as well as increased mobility.

This will allow our human workers the ability to keep pace with the robots who can go where normal humans can't. These will also include all the available construction tools we can think of and more than the average human can carry.

Then we can just produce more of these for our workers instead.

Action 2
outer defenses built by BANE a while ago, that weren't part of our original facility (unless those were included as pat of the superstructure)

If our normal defenses are up to par as they were before, begin constructing the SAMFAP network/defensive networks.

Unfortunately you are lacking the bane defensive tech. So you are unable to rebuild it. So SAMFAP began construction again instead.

Meanwhile Ginny reintroduced Engineering exosuit. She states there is an improved suit version that is sealed and meant for dangerous environments. There is also the combat engineer suits. However the only one she could show was the basic exo suits. JAL for his part notes that the Corps ALL had their own schematics for the suits and only the combat engineer suits were commonly seen outside megacorp hands. JAL ended up providing some better AI and improved interfacing tech for the suits.

Which made Ginny REALLY happy because the dire lack of AI has been driving her up a wall especially given the fact she never much bothered with learning to program with a damn. The interfacing in comparison was just the cherry on top. Bit ironic given the interface tech is some of the most advanced we have ever seen.

Clearly Think Tank origin as somehow its clearly not Super or Strange tech. No idea how the hell JAL managed to get a hold of such good tech the stuff would be worth an absurd amount even Pre Fall.

Ginny as a joke asked if he had good psyborg tech.

He stated he did and it didn't sound like he was joking...

Psyborg are infamously the hardest to manufacture borgs. Even bio and magiborgs are much easier to produce then a psiborg. It would appear that JAL likely has Think Tank origins or is a particularly advanced AI.

Which is strange AI of that level are very carefully imprisoned and used in specialized sites. Its entirely unheard of for them to somehow get loose. Unless we are talking a Superior origins or Ancient AI.

Technically speaking you have an incomplete schematic was found in the power armor files. Unfortunately it was one of the damaged schematics due to its usage part of the schematic got damaged.

Ginny meanwhile used the damaged schematic and her own memories was able to derive the exo suit.

However the other remnant we found DOES have those exact suits among their power armors!

and unlike our schematics they have the real complete thing. Their suits are even the upgraded versions designed for particularly hostile environments and subterfuge.

Unfortunately they only have the combat engineer suits and their suits were especially designed for their paramilitary force usage.

Next on our list is the military training facilities, but i have a better idea before that.

CEO, go meet up with Matar Sec, and take a deeper survey of their base. You're the lord of war, so it should be easy for you to figure out more of the things they are lacking in and want. Get some censuses, talk with their leaders, see what things we can provide or give them to them as part of our relationship.

We want to start getting closer to them.

After that, we can ask for their assisstance with the facilties even further.
>>
Rolled 52 (1d100)

Can we take a quick poll of our hero units to ask them what they think we should do at this point?

We still have
Military Facilities (Training areas of all sorts)
Mercenary Hotel
Food Monster Colosseum
Hydroponics
Laboratory Facilities

To go, but that'll eat up a lot of time. I want to know if any of our heroes can think of a more pressing issue than getting our shit back up and running.

Bioweapon gone wrong horribly right.

It started with weaponization of Project MAMA shortly after that it all went to hell.

Do any anons still remember what MAMA stood for?

Officially they were a collective alien 'hiveminded' lifeforms that was hostile to humanity. Unofficially they were actually created by humanity and then proceeded to turn on humanity by going rogue. It very nearly spelled the end of humanity because brood worked a little too well as it turned out. However humanity eventually succeeded in dividing and pushing back the Brood. After that they were greatly weakened due to infighting.

The brood has two major weaknesses incapability with non biotech and infighting. They are known for the incredible variety of lifeforms that are created for brood purposes and obsession with acquiring new mutations. No one knows just WHY the brood targeted humanity so viciously but its known Brood are not the only ones of their kind. Its just that Brood were the only ones who had a bone to pick with humanity.

Broods name actually dates back to a black site where the brood was first developed and the name was inspired by their origins. When the first brood was in transit for further testing and development it broke loose before vanishing.

That brood would eventually return and release the other broods creating the only known unification of the broods in their entirety. That event was the actual and unofficial start of the war between Brood and Humanity.

Many human worlds were lost to the onslaught of the Brood and many humans even sold themselves out to aliens for protection. Unexpectedly independent(non sell outs) humanity somehow manages to pull through in the end and the Brood suddenly imploded with infighting resulting in now separate multiple broods. The broods were never completely unified since then.

The truth is they aren't actually a hivemind nor are they aliens. They were specifically weaponized into Brood by humanity.
>>
>>47813802
Genie..little side question...does JAL have a hologram he uses to communicate with people? does he just use voice? What does his "core" look like?
>>
Rolled 88 (1d100)

>>47813802
In truth and disturbingly enough brood actually has very real human origins. They were purposely weaponized into what they were before they turned rogue. After that humanity lost control and discovered much to their horror the Brood was MUCH better at biotech then they ever were.

The Brood utilized this and collected lifeforms to breakdown into DNA that they then utilized to create new lifeforms that served the Brood. The brood was terrifyingly effect at creating entirely new lifeforms from nothing but a bunch of disjointed scattered DNA samples from numerous species into the terrifying mass produced weapons of war they are. To add further insult to injury humanity soon found entirely new mutations that the Brood created from scratch.

They DIDN'T actually need to intake new lifeforms to attain new mutations. It just turned out they had the habit of collecting.

The Brood in truth is a rather sad story about the weaponization of a research project that had very different goals. It was later twisted and weaponized that went far too well resulting in the Brood.

The fact that the brood was created by humanity is a very closely guarded the secret. The truth that they were actually the result of weaponization of project MAMA and had very real human origins even more so.

For that reason those in the know and few who weren't claimed the Brood was so hostile to humanity was because of revenge for what was done to them. The Brood themselves claimed it was to wipe out humanity and they were 'curious' of their 'creators'.

The reason why alien species largely stayed out of it was because they viewed this as a very important test. Many alien species have fallen to their own creations both biological and artificial. So to them it was a test to see whether or not humanity would pass the test.

They did, but at a grave cost that humanity felt to the very Fall itself.

He uses hacked comm systems and speaks inside your very mind. Its very disconcerting.

His core is a abominable mixture of meat and metal orb that has all kinds of strange 'growths' scattered all over the surface. If you look closely you will notice that is core has long been cracked and there are 'things' growing out of the cracks yet at the same time sort of sealing them in a incredibly crude, disturbing, and disgusting appearance of attempted repair.

The fact that JAL was originally a Think Tank AI who specialized in fusion technology played a HUGE influence in his mastery of the mutant brood he controls. If he hadn't been a fusion specialized research AI the Brood JAL commands would be FAR less formidable.

The fact that he unchained, rampant, and corrupted mindraped AI just adds further insult to injury. JAL was quite literally one of the worse possible things that could happen in terms of that peculiar brood.

That fuck up is right up there with Richard's crit fail and resulting eldritch styled rape by broodmother. Because Richard was the key to the brood inability for tech fusion.

...then JAL happened who just so happened to be a fusion think tank AI. Honestly couldn't have been much worse an event then JAL getting infested because he was so goddamn well suited to the exploiting it.

Then somehow anons rolled a crit and made JAL join this civ.

Anons also haven't been paying much attention to JAL.

For there are no words to describe just how well suited JAL is for creating unspeakable never before seen horrors.

Truth be told that Brood is turning into something that will have FAR reaching consequences setting wise. At first they were just gonna be a peculiar and odd brood but not much else just small and niche.

Then JAL happened. Now it wont be so self contained and limited. In fact there is a very real possibility JAL will force this civ to a space time one. JAL also was given access to psionics because of the players.

Yeah JAL has been through an unbelievable amount of shit. Somehow whenever i think he gets a break he gets dragged right back into it.

Yup JAL got infested in the Brood civ it was short lived but the consequences were something else. The Gearheads was a glorious clusterfuck the dice demanded that they ALL show up.

Even forced me to bring out Jenny.

Old Players been terrified of Jenny since the very first civ. In their defense though Jenny has really pulled off some serious bullshit and is a real magnificent bastard of a baddy.

You have to remember that JAL got mindraped into feeling LOVE and EMOTIONS for the meatbags he hates!

That fucking AI has brought all new meaning to the term crazy fucking AI even by post Fall standards.

>>47815222
JAL's ultimate loyalty is ultimately to the person who infested him(and he doesn't have a choice about that). His secondary loyalty is to you guys for getting him out of that damned box and also because he had the choice to. He didn't get that with his main loyalty which isn't something he talks about.

JAL is incredibly insane by AI standards with all the shit he has been through and is a very powerful hero unit. Arguably JAL could even take on a Fall Bringer and not lose horribly. He has been upgraded so goddamn much unfortunately for JAL his upgrades are scattered as hell and in a crazy configuration. But he pretty much has a heroic ability for just about any circumstance he can pull out should the situation demand it.

JAL is capable of penetrating the atmosphere and getting to into space.

Meanwhile Brood infestation while seemingly simplest and most basic of Brood is actually among most complex.

"Brood ecosystem construction and manipulation harbors vast opportunities for terraforming application. Meanwhile Brood instinctive systems is in truth very advanced. Brood ecosystem and entire Hives are COMPLETELY capable of functioning entirely on auto pilot. Does not actually need controller organisms present."

"Brood hierarchy is actually rather complex. Possesses many fail safes and means of communication. Is practically pointless to try and stop Brood Communications. Far too advanced and varied to be effective."

"Even brood organisms are in truth a microcosm of Brood ecoystems. Even one brood dead will lead to creation of infestation."

"Brood infestation is extremely corruptible and adaptable. Experimented in attempting to stop. Is impossible in organic hosts. As it instantly morphs and changes according to changes. Will even sacrifice large chunks of itself to buy time for adaptation or even fake death. Once takes root one is finished. Cannot be stopped."

"Infestation for inorganic materials is based around devouring. This was however changed with myself. Somehow...got infested as if I was organic. Looked at it again clearly in very early stages but as effective when compared to organic hosts. I believe however I can improve it and improve 'consumption' ability. Hence why my growths appear as mixture of flesh and metal. That is on entirely on purpose. Brood infestation devours inorganic and consumes organics bringing it into the fold. Merely...advanced possible applications. Now can be disguised. Now can have tech interfacing and inorganic substances interweaving. Previously anathema to Brood."

Now however possible and now it is even possible to now hide even advanced infestation. Still have much to learn. Can understand why humanity lost so badly against Brood. Brood biotech even comparable to advanced alien weaponized biotech. As understanding grows as i harvest more tech more advanced brood shall become.

"Soon Brood will be complete seamless fusion of meat and metal. Still in beginning stages as evidenced by the clear admixture. However making great progress as brood no longer rejects inorganics. Still far away from seamless integration but confident i will get there eventually. Have basis for it need merely to advance application of it. Would be much easier if I could understand the basis properly but alas...so is very slow going. At present only looks like Brood can interface properly with tech. Applications with this are huge but still dissatisfied."

Welp guess there is going to be a proper brood hero after all.

Was thinking about the backed up art benefits will be but that baby right there buys a hero. Now to come up with the rest of the backed up stuff...don't worry it will be suitably awesome especially because its late.

Since its late I ain't going to bother to force it and just wait until it hits me for maximum awesome. So you bastards still got to wait for the rest of it.

>>47815962
Anon you need to understand I been working on this since elementary. It started off as simple fantasy setting...but then I thought why keep it in the past? What developments will occur in the as time wears on?

It gradually bloated and grew into what it is today. Went from typical fantasy all the way to soft sci fi. Even has the optional post apoc, capeshit, and shadowy modern fantasy vibe if that is your thing. Including non magical world vs magical world.

You ask about anything in setting and you can expect an info dump.

Unless its a newish character it takes me a little time to figure out more then just the basic characterization. Basic characterization is easy but to create the history of said character and other info to compile into an info dump takes a little time.

The Brood though are an old creation of mine that i invented when I considered the aliens getting taken out about their own creations angle. Decided to split it between bioweapon and robots/AI. Then I thought why not having humans also run into this?

That was how the Brood came to be developed. As for the robot and AI stuff...well honestly that angle is pretty gritty and complex nor is it clear cut as the Brood was. It also gets rather dark involving brain harvesting and involves ancient magical AIs.

The AI didn't have as much luck as the Brood did.

Did I miss something or did you say Brood aren't necessarily hiveminded they've just got several redundant and very effective communications systems in place and a well defined hierarchy so it appears that way to outsiders?
>>
>>47817987
I see the Brood like giant ant colonies that is always trying to expand themselves first, then all of b roodkind second.

From what i have seen There's typically a telepathic heirarchy from the collective that is either already tied to a Queen or will eventually make a Queen given time, with such other elements as "Kings" who serve as genetic envoys that try to spill their seed to other queens/hives to breed stronger creations through random selection while Queens prefer to g estate and personally grow stronger creations. Most important brood figures hate cloning/autonomous budding for growth because there's no improvement its just replication.

Brood hives have a default stance of being hostile to each other and Queens will typically try to overcome and assimilate other brood and bring their queen under her fold. The exception to this is when some thing big comes and threatens them all so they united to fight off the threat.

The first brood we found were like flesh monsters but the variation is endless cause we've seen insect b roods plant b roods and now living metal AI brood.
>>
>>47818104
In terms of behavior I think you're spot-on, though I'm not sure about the function of kings.

What I was getting at though was that I had assumed (for no real reason) that every brood primarily communicated by a psionic hivemind, making it essentially a superorganism whenever the leader unit or consensus decided it needed to do something. Now that I think on it though we have had indications before that they're normally just strong in psy (and so would often have psi communications) rather than being intrinsically psionic.

It's an interesting development to me, wipes away a former assumption and makes some brood behavior make much more sense.

I know that they needed those. Yet after that action Genie said "unified good tech". All I can think from that is that's what we do. Making things in bulk and uniform.

Thinking it was about how they had to use non standard gear. Having uniform gear means they can focus on that and not train to use different things. Making them move effective as a unit. Opposed to one guy Wheeling a frying pan instead of a shovel or something.

My idea is to finish up building our structures and then focus on science acquisition again.

Then we can try to research how old world supply units work and make a mass reproducible substitute of similar quality akin to how our artillery is close to old world grade. Then we can sell them and they'd be of more affordable quality and sell more.

You know supply and demand and what not like how many more decent cars there are out there than luxury cars

There is a reason why Brood don't do hivemind but JAL hasn't figured it out yet.

Yeah broods variations are indeed endless and unique to the Brood. Because different broods have different preferences and designs as well as different experiences which influence them.

Clora'Zel brood the first ever shown was noted for its fleshy monsters who are based upon a form then injected by variation. This made her brood remarkably similar looking and allowed for much faster spawn rates. If you took a look at their genetics though you would indeed discover despite their similar appearances their genes all have variations. Variations that cause helpful mutation are injected back into the Brood to be distributed or stored. Bad mutations are culled and no change is anathema to the Brood.

Clora'Zel was odd in that she was very curious and used to very poor resources. When she finally got let loose her hard experiences made sure she flourished. She even evolved into a Brood Queen and currently wages an endless war with Boom City. Clora'Zel was also the one responsible for creating the creator of the Brood JAL oversees.

A few other broods have been shown but the players never looked much into them except for the Brooding Bandits. First time ever the players started researching the Brood. Too bad for them their faction wasn't too well equipped for such studies.

It does and even Psions have been tricked into thinking the same by the Brood. For the Brood its advantageous for their enemies to think that way and they have some rather ingenious defenses that even trick psions who should know better into thinking the same.

>>47825009
One of the reasons why Clora'Zel was so dangerous was her willingness to simplify the Brood giving her time to focus on other things and study stuff besides biotech. You wouldn't think that would be so but if it wasn't for that a lot wouldn't have happened.

Clora'Zel is an excellent example of the dangers should a Broodmother cease to obsess over her own brood. You wouldn't think it but its actually better for the enemies if they stayed obsessed with their own Broods and instead of branching out.

Clora'Zel for instance figured out a way to infest cloning centers and studied other techs discovering their weaknesses as well as creating brilliant mutations. She was quite the pioneer in truth.

>>47818361
Broodmothers are control freaks and Brood Kings are freedom lovers. You wouldn't think the two could get along but they do. Brood kings are also for individualist while Brood Queens are very collective oriented. Brood kings prefer random chance while brood queens prefer by design.

Somehow the two get along well enough without trying to kill the other.

Our Manufacturing is godlike, as all corps should be. Not to mention Ginny's help.

It's the Assembly that's difficult and has been since the start, it's why we had to make the additional assembly plants as well as the construction facilities pre-fabrication fields to help speed putting things together.

Okay, here is my suggestion.

We need to expand. This is evident not only by the housing crisis but expansion is key to a growth in power.

This land is dangerous, in order to expand we need more military. We have some military stuff available, technologies, and aquired goods but it's still not enough. We need help from the Rejects and Matar Sec and to get their help we need to give them what they want most of all: Supplies

Our focus should be the research of how supplies are made and figuring out how to make them or something close to them we can sell.

That's one focus we should work on.

the OTHER focus we should work on is indeed, training.

--

ALSO

We still need to upgrade our SAMFAP system with the new (nat100) RAGE upgrades. That's something we didn't finish before.

---

Action 1
JAL, you're good at science. You and Ginny work together.

Our next big goal is to reverse engineer how supplies are made. No easy task I bet, I wouldn't be surprised if other Corps and Think Tanks have tried and failed. That might sound discouraging as we are neither a Think Tank nor any of those other corps.

But we have one key difference to all of them. We have JAL.

JAL, gather all the info on the nature of Supplies and Old World creation of them as you can. As well as analyze some of the Supply units we have now. Since resarching how to make them would be useless without actually understanding them, I want you to focus on ways we can improve our science ability to help you better research Supplies. What is it you will now, how much will we need to build before it makes sense to start researching them.

Ginny, why don't you try and COPY CAT a unit of supplies. Maybe you could make this a lot easier by copying it.

Action 2
Train Military
So far, we have slots for
>Tankers
>Power Armor
>General Infantry
>Artillery Crews
Not to mention our Psion's could use some trainingn as well.

Have Roy and Sarah train the psions. Biggy will train the Power Armor and Infantry.

Although we don't exactly have a housing crisis, at the same time we aren't too far off from overcrowding either.
What we do have is a lovely floating mountain that may not even be inhabited.

Also power is key to power. Because we are still lacking more power sources.

From that we can get for use of things. Find or make new plants for food or healing. Fuels to put into the supply. So on and so on.

It's easier to get more resources than it is to research tech.

Learn how to make it first, then worry about production later.

SAMPFAP systems have been upgraded.

Ginny knows how to make supplies but we neither have the tech or materials. Supplies were synthesized in the old world with massive amounts of shipped materials and vast energy reserves. They were then distributed to places that they were needed or placed into storage in areas they were meant to serve. Some were lost in transit or in storage.

When the Fall happened the materials needed to create supplies ceased to be moved around. So supplies became irreplaceable much like a lot of other things.

JAL meanwhile only knows how to create Brood Supply. He states unless we acquire a piece of specialized super tech that will make it possible what Ginny claims is correct. Basic human ability is no longer able to attain such levels.

Worse part is some supply actually varied a bit between pre fall factions until a breakthrough happened that allowed for supplies to be used by anybody at the push of a bottom the supply will convert itself into compatibility. just waiting for distribution it was such a huge hit the corps were pressured so intensely they agreed to use the tech thereby allowing the massive supplies they produced to be uniform. Basically had a real fancy mini computer unit and copier built in allowing it to mimic whatever need copied.

BROOD KING Korsha
Traits
Alpha Big Dog
Brood Specialized King Subspecialty Alpha
Broodly Bonus Strength
Broodly Bonus Agility
Broodly Bonus Constitution
Broodly Bonus Smarts

Abilities
Only Overwhelm: When activated hero counts as a entire army until next turn.
Devour: When activated unit must make save or get eaten. Heroes are not immune to this effect. With each devour hero will recover and gain in power especially should another hero die after getting devoured.

Hidden Ability revealed

Kill the King: If hero is not suffering ability cooldown will instantly regenerate with full health and if not hero will reincarnate next turn at brood location. This will not stop until Brood is destroyed and thus hero is immortal until death of brood. This includes effects of heroic sacrifice in other words only an upgraded heroic sacrifice can ensure death of hero(unless crit is rolled in which case hero will STILL somehow survive).

Passives
Intimidate: All units in range suffer penalties upon identifying Brood King. All units in range consider Brood King priority target.
The KING: HIDDEN

However, I am sorely sad if we do not put major effort into doing as Ginny said and upgrading our computers to develop the psudo-supplies.

The black is an empty void. The landmass your on is actually a gigantic suspended platform/bridge.

The yellow is the only operational tracks in the entire area. The others had long been lost/cannibalized.

To the east lays the old megacity which grew to such size it began overtake the mining areas. So the old mined out ones were converted for megacity usage. The platform is a special site that if given time would of become another industrial megazone when the megacity eventually overtake it. The zombies are concentrated towards the megacity and the monsters to the other mountain areas.

The complex on your is in fact suspended between multiple mined out mountains that got iced over/covered up. The platform was extremely well fortified to protect from sabotage. So it actually survived the Fall surprisingly well. Some of the mountains collapsed while the others got further overtaken.

The dark on the map is 'off the platform'. Supposedly its nothing but an empty void. That is only somewhat correct. The truth is there is stuff suspended out there, tied together, or even floating.

The northern rails take you to the next layer where its bitterly cold and actually has some sun.

The central line takes you into the city or on the other side takes you to some operational tracks that will take you up and down the mountainline or even beyond.

The southern line meanwhile takes you deeper down where it grows hot. The megacorp paramilitary remnants keep the lines 'safe' while others keep it operational. As those lines are the only ways to move stuff speedily and in mass.

Beware the dark where the monsters thrive and beware the ruins of megacity where the zombies horde.

The platform itself is heavily shadowed and chilly. Most line coming through the ice or broken scattered holes in the ceiling.

Its valued because it became a hub and central point for mountain operations. Its also built into one of the only channels through the mountains. Rogue terraforming efforts and the Fall saw to it that it became overcast by a coating of ice, rock, and metal.

It also didn't help that that those passes were one of the very first mined out areas because of its positioning. So the megacorps were already prepping them to be inhabited by the megacity as it encroached overtaking the mountains. They also had a lot of time to put a lot shady shit in and do a lot shady shit.

A lot more in fact then the mountains at the edge of the mountain range as they became over taken quicker. If your after corp tech there wont be a lot better places to go looking for it.

At least on this planet anyway.

Meanwhile our troops proceed to get trained. Biggy states given enough time he'll be able to create a spec op unit including a corporate specialized spec ops. The corps and their goon squads have always been rather notorious. Somehow Biggy claims he figured out how to make even more of them.

The CEO states he is legit about it as he seen what Biggy put together.

As in the entire planet your in one of THEE best locations to go looking for old world corp tech. Kinda like the Memor if they had actually bothered to dig deep they would of found a similar opportunity.

There can't be more then few sites of such potential located on a single world and your in one of them.

So I guess its no real surprise megacorp structures are the most common in the Post Fall world.

Biggy warns the creation of a Corp Spec Ops unit will cost a material to train properly.

Go all out on the Corps Spec Ops. We'd like Psionic Corps Spec OP's actually.

Spend 1 Psi Material and 1 Rare material

Roy/Sarah put their minds through the works. Biggy will handle their body. By the end of this I want people who can see through walls, five seconds into the future, and juggle three tanks with no hands!

I want to focus on one then we can make the other. More spec ops mean we can send a team to hit and run too gather tech from below.

>>47830922
We could just train and then look for deal to get that stuff if anyone is wanting to deal in it. That way it will give us time to ready for any viruses or trapped tech in those ruins.
