This quest, as the title suggests, takes place in the world of Dragon Ball. You're playing as a thirteen year old boy named Tofoo, and will adventure through the story of the Dragonball series alongside characters such as Goku, Yamcha, Bulma, Tien, and many others. Through your actions, you can make significant changes to the story, and perhaps even become the strongest fighter on Earth.

At the end of each update you'll have ten minutes to vote on options. Write-ins are allowed, but I do reserve the right to veto them.
In the event of a draw, the option to receive the next vote wins
Rolls will be used on certain occasions, such as attempting a technique for the first time or attempting something extremely difficult. You will have three rolls, and if one succeeds, you succeed. There are no crits.
Rolls are made AFTER an option wins, not during the voting process

As you return to consciousness, you're assaulted by several sights and sounds that take you a few moments to register.
You're staring up at a bunch of trees, and you're pretty sure you hear monkeys calling from somewhere in the distance. As you sit up, you look around to see Bulma passed out against a tree, Oolong snoring against a rock, and Krillin looking as though he's not far from joining them.
His eyes shift to your direction, at which point he sits up, suddenly alert and awake as he rushes over to you with a smile on his face.
"Tofoo, you're okay!" he says, laughing with happiness. "How are you feeling?"

You hear rustling in the nearby bushes, and the two of you look over, sighing in relief when you see it's just one of the monkeys looking at you curiously.
"That's a relief," Krillin says. "You wouldn't believe how many hungry animals there are out here."
He looks back over at you. "Are you feeling any better?"
A lot better, actually, especially considering the last time you felt anything, it was when you were burning. So, this is a vast improvement. You still feel unbelievably tired, but in a different way from before. More like you want to sleep forever than your body actively dying.

As you land, you can't help but grin. You feel so much relief at being able to do these things without passing out.
Krillin grins from ear to ear, laughing happily. "It worked!"
You suggest that he go and get some rest for a little bit while you keep watch.
"Sounds good," Krillin says with a yawn. "I was up all night."
He finds a tree to sleep against, and sits down, closing his eyes and beginning to snore.
You're the only one awake now, deep in a jungle that also supposedly contains a Dragonball.

You leave the clearing and explore the nearby forest, finding it to be full of birds, snakes, panthers, and a host of other creatures. You also discover that there is quite the abundance of fruit; bananas, mangoes, various berries, apples, and so on.
Grabbing everything you can carry, you return to the clearing, placing your offering on the ground and stepping back.
The monkeys continue to watch you for a few seconds before one of the more adventurous apes wanders into the center of the clearing, grabbing an apple and running back to the group.
As the minutes pass, the monkeys seem to be alright with your presence, and begin to congregate as normal, communicating, playing, and taking food from the pile.
Watching them, you notice that they seem to be quite playful, even using objects as toys. In fact, it looks like one of the babies has...

You give her the device, and she looks at it, frowning. "The ball he was after is getting even further away."
A strange smell fills the air. Sniffing, you soon realize what it is.

You ask Bulma if she smells it too.
She sniffs the air, then frowns. "A fire. We'd better get out of here."

Bulma's frown turns into a smile, and she chuckles lightly. "Then get moving, Tofoo, see you when you get back."
You rush into the jungle, hearing the fearful cries of its denizens as the smell of smoke becomes stronger and the fire presumably spreads.
Monkeys and other creatures flee in terror, running in the opposite direction of you as you make your way toward the source of the fire.
Not far from the clearing where you found the monkeys, you spot two men carrying guns, and wearing uniforms that you recognize as belonging to the Red Ribbon Army.
They don't seem to have spotted you.

You rush out of the trees, closing the distance between yourself and the soldiers before they even know there's someone there.
With a jumping kick, you knock one soldier's gun form his hand and send it flying into the air, letting it disappear into the trees somewhere nearby.
The other is too shocked by what just happened to act effectively. By the time he registers what's happened and turns his gun on you, it's too late, as you knock his weapon away.
Holding back as much as you can, you punch the two men in their guts, and they fall to their knees.
"W-what just happened?" one of the men asks.
"Who are you, kid?" the other asks.

You decide that this probably isn't the best place to have this particular fight. Besides, you're on a time limit.
Rushing back through the jungle, you find Bulma and the others waiting outside of the airship, looking relieve when they see you.
"Good, you're back," Krillin says.
"Was it the Red Ribbon Army?" Oolong asks.
You explain what little information you were able to get out of the soldiers, then tell them that you're ready to go.
"Hold on a second!" Oolong tells you. "The Red Ribbon Army seems really determined to get these balls. And they're strong enough to do it, too. Even the Ox King couldn't stop them! I don't know about you guys, but I don't want to get in their way!"
Bulma thinks it over. "I guess having the perfect boyfriend doesn't mean much if I get killed trying to get him."

Bulma looks down. "I hope he's okay."
"Krillin, what do you think?" you ask your bald friend.
"Well...." He looks blue in the face, so you're sure the idea of taking on the Red Ribbon Army terrifies him. "I can't just leave you and Goku out here by yourselves. And besides, Master Roshi said my training's done, so if I don't come with you, I'll just fall behind. Count me in."
You tell Bulma and Oolong that they can go, but you want the Dragon Radar.
Bulma hands you the device, and the Dragonball that you recovered.
"Good luck," she tells you and Krillin.
Oolong and Bulma climb into the airship and take off. They don't get far before there's a boom, and the ship plummets to the ground in the distance.
Here we go again.
