How do you think Alraune, dryads, nymphs, treants and the like reproduce?
They have to pass their seeds through the digestive system of an intelligent/sapient being or else they can't reproduce.
Just don't wander off to far and don't act disgusted when the dryad asks to dig through your shit to find the germinated seeds.
