But is it that shitty "always on and uncontrollable" telepathy or the cool "Like talking but in the head and you can choose what you listen to" kind of telepathy? Because if the former, I'd rather not. Like, shit man, you know reading someone's mind would give you a headache with all the signals firing off? Stream-of-consciousness books are already confusing enough. On the other hand, cool streamlined telepathy would be nice.

Oh god no. I've built up a reputation, among my group, as being the one that's not a kind of skeevy, porn-drawing magical realmer like the rest of them, and can be trusted to bring competent, effective characters to the game to move things forward.

I definitely could but my friend probably couldn't. I've made several therapists and psychologists straight up refer me to their colleagues and simply not pass on the notes so they don't know whats coming. Thats assuming its that shitty always on telepathy which i honestly wouldn't even notice, the change in mental noise density would be a drop in the bucket.
