I bought a keg and we had a barbecue.
>>
Myself, a not-Arabian rouge of a nomadic desert tribe, selected as the Avatar of the Sun after embarking on a three day vision quest and interpreting his hallucinations as signs from his God.

Our Cleric, a chaos gnome who is depicted as a shekel-pinching Jewish stereotype and works as a defense attorney.

Two sisters, an Elven monk and a Tiefling Warlock, with serious daddy issues and a borderline incestuous relationship.

A Barbarian by the name of "Brick," both for his broad physique as well as his low intelligence.

Human rigger from London, full pink mohawk style (including the pink mohawk). Fitted his most killy drone with speakers so it can blast out orcish metal in battle.

Human mage from Seattle. Sort of like a Grunge version of Andy Warhol, only about magic instead of art.

Elf street sam played by the group edgelord. Full cyber, practically looks like a war droid, silent killer type. Major grudge against the Renraku corporation. Actually roleplayed very well considering.

Troll street sam called Big Mac, also from London. Jolly giant who follows the Sikh warrior code. Wields a giant tulwar and a shotty.
We have an NPC doing decking who is actually part of the team. He's a Turkish anarchist and a total douchebag, thanks to our GM's liking for RPing chippy cunts.

Human fighter who is an edgy anime type
Elf ranger who's family was killed by a rogue paladin
Tiefling rogue who worked as a contract killer
Halfling bard who is the exact opposite of the fighter
And a human paladin who is the son of a noble who got his lands and fortune stolen by elfs

Way too little clothing for women that look as young as they do

It might also help cover up the various amounts of gore carved into their bodies, but eh

Jaded middle-aged scientist whose friends were all eaten by space bees

Russian child soldier who accidentally his family

Magical tomboy who thought this gig would be cool, but was dead wrong

what system are we playing?

>Tiefling bard who plays death metal and is pretty much just a total selfish dick

>Ninja who's literally part shadow (not the undead, literal shadow) or something, I don't even know

>Mute soldier girl with metal skin and a big axe

>Horrifically ugly fish-man gish who wields two swordfish as swords

>Homunculus (more FMA style, alchemically-created humanoid, not D&D/MtG style little servant critter) swordsman, wielding twin bone swords produced by his own body. Has 6 Cha and knows little about society due to being an artificial life form, yet somehow has managed to effectively act as the party face so far due to sheer dumb luck

>Crystal drake with psychoactive venom that induces blind rage

And then there's my character, who can basically be summed up as hobbit Uncle Iroh.

There's also supposed to be a gender-fluid kitsune ranger ("gender-fluid" in the sense of physically shifting between genders, because shapeshifting trickster fox) in the party, though that player hasn't been able to make it to our first couple sessions.

It's slightly ridiculous.
>>
>Me, the Survivalist. Trying to get back home.
>The Shaman. Trying to find enlightenment in the wasteland.
>The Mechanic. Trying to escape to safety with her kid brother.
>The Tribal. Trying to make get the mechanic's brother and her baby back.
>The Merchant. Trying to run the tribal's growing domain.
>The Driver. Trying to get the tribal's car.

Elves can have demonblood too. I see no reason why they wouldn't be. 'borderline-incestuous' and 'sisters' seems to imply they are.
>>

>Fighter: Tank and beater, voted leader. Militant leader and stubborn in his thinking, friends-with-benefits with rogue.
>Ranger: Sniper and survivalist, occasionally negotiator. Sporadic at best and hardheaded in their logic, dating the bard.
>Rogue: Scout and flanker, dislikes ranger because many many reasons. Loyal to and friends-with-benefits with the fighter.
>Wizard: AoE and nerd, in on most research-related contacts. Attempted voice of reason, dating the chef NPC.
>Bard: Buffer and healer, face for any intro to a new area. Pacifist, loyal to and dating the ranger.
Fighter and ranger come to odds more often than should be healthy, wizard usually gets roped into it one way or another. Ranger pisses off bard with lack of self-preservation, rogue with lack of obedience, everyone else with lack of sanity. Wizard is deterring force in making sure no one murders each other and the smart that no one listens to. Rogue2sneaky4everyone, every player has forgotten she's existed at some point. Bard is a cinnamon roll. Fighter wants people to just follow the orders of the elected leader and doesn't like it when those orders aren't followed. When we all get our shit together it's difficult for an average encounter to last more than four rounds.
>tl;dr, we all hate each other, except when we don't.
>>
>>47684466
Early days, but I've played with the group before and we mesh well.

The first is our High Elf Rogue, a researcher and an intellectual with a keen knowledge of magic despite having no ability to cast it, and a crack shot with a bow. She feels like the startings of a party leader, or at least the party's sympathetic face, and leads with a soft-spoken, tactical approach. Her appreciation of magic has made her fast friends with our Human Druid who, despite only being a practitioner of natural magics and alchemy, has a fondness for arcane magic, even going so far as to dabble in darker arts to aid with her spellcasting. This has earned the ire of the Human Fighter, armed with a halberd and full plate armour, who despises both Arcane and Divine magic, but he is willing to be more lenient towards her than most due to having an appreciation for practical, natural magics. This has, however, caused our Halfling Rogue to hide much of his potential, as a practitioner of arcane magic himself. Perhaps the smoothest talking member of the party, his street savy nature is balanced by his playfulness and his skill with a rapier, which he uses in tandem with his arcane prowess in combat. Despite his cunning though, he has yet to delve particularly deep into the identity of our "Human" Warlock, in truth an Illithid in disguise, taking refuge from his vengeful cousins below the ground. His psionic powers are immense, but he struggles to adapt to this new world, even with help from the Druid whom is aware of his true nature and is sympathetic towards his plight.

Playing in a few warhammer campaigns

The Cathay Campaign group:

>Alice, halfling born in Ind. Smuggler who is searching for a cure to a disease ravaging her folks. Pretty nice, trying to fuck over the party's boss.
>Breadbeard, halfling pirate. Is actually a horrible pirate. May or may not be a terrifying psychopath, desperate to get himself a boat.
>Ocel, redneck hunter from the backwoods of Hochland. Found out he's part Kislevite from the actual Kislevite in the party, developed into one of the best archers in the world. Total bro, brews moonshine and shit.
>Saul, Estalian assassin. Deceptive, always quick to make a profit from a bad situation. 3 of the other PCs know his real name because he's trying to keep it on the downlow after killing the elector count of Wissenland in the 2nd session.
>Nikolai, leader of the PCs and newly appointed warrior priest of Ursun. A pretty nice guy, if a hardass about chaos due to living on the Kislev frontier.
>Serafina, Tilean girl on the run from an arranged marriage. Has a massive battleaxe with the soul of an ancient white lion in it, has a giant wolf, tiger, elephant, and ermine for pets, and would literally sass a chaos god if given the chance.
>Sir Guy, questing knight of bretonnia. Basically one step above a peasant in terms of wealth. Acts like a dick, usually -is- a dick. Stuffs his face with food every chance he gets, got shat on by a god for doing the quest wrong.
>Winston Hawke, explorer and master wizard of the celestial college. Former scion of a merchant house, got shipped off when his magic abilities were discovered, now pursuing a lost love on the edge of the known world.

Old butler who was left in charge of the lord's young daughter when the lord died. He once jumped into a pond infested with spiders, naked, because he thought he could swim faster than a fish.
Teenage boy who gets flustered easily by older women. Has a grumpy horse.
Old merchant who jews as hard as a jew can reasonably jew on an empty wallet.

There was also a NEET and a 14 year old healer girl, but they had to drop out.

Together they attempt to solve the mysteries surrounding a creepy small town. We're playing Ryuutama.

Shadows of the North

>Gerhardt, graduate of the imperial military academy. With the storm of chaos over, he had little opportunity for promotion. Was convinced to found a mercenary company. Hardass, sort of a stick in the mud, good guy overall. Became the Elector Count of Ostland at the end.
>Minervina, sister of fury. Joined up to test her skills in battle, stayed because fate and her goddess demanded it. Extremely young, extremely tall, extremely naive. Went on to be declared the Fury reborn.
>Gehrov, physician of unknown imperial origin. Something of an enigma in the party, also probably the oldest party member. Started wearing a plague doctor outfit, ended up the apprentice of an assassin/witch hunter who wore the same outfit. Helped rebuild an order of Verenan witch hunters after the campaign ended.
>Ser Landry, company champion. A bretonnian peasant of extreme skill impersonating a knight errant. Killed every big thing he could, something of a blood knight. Despite his bravado, he deeply feared growing old. Went on to become a blood dragon who killed the old grandmaster, reformed the order, and assassinated the king of bretonnia.
>Morgen, knight of the black bear. Stumbled across the party on the road, proceeded to help them hunt a demon. Stayed with them on and off, total bro. Eventually became the grandmaster of the black bear order.

Grumpy elderly lesbian doctor

PTSD flying ace trying to atone for blowing up a load of civilians that one time

Puckish stab happy psycho teen who literally believes that when you die god judges you based on your kill/death ratio before you reincarnate.

Together we are that one strike team the rebel alliance probably doesn't like to admit to having.

Or as our GM put it "Why am I stuck with Bones McCoy, Char Aznable and Riddick?"

Trouble in Corin, a campaign I'm running set in Bretonnia.

>Sternhauer, son of poor imperial nobility looking to restore his family's fortunes. Came to the right place for it. Has the potential to be an incredible witch hunter. He's more or less the apprentice of the only thing approaching a witch hunter in Bretonnia.
>Tybald, Yeoman of the family who rules Corin. He's a family man with little tolerance for bullshit but a soft spot for his wife and children. Celebrated as the giantslayer after bringing a giant to its knees and stabbing it through the head. Hangs out with Sir Benedict, an ancient grail knight who tends to Corin's shrines.
>Zalen, priest of Shallya. Raised by the church as an orphan, he became a wandering priest when he came of age. Guided to Corin by visions, he's being mentored in the ways of Shallya by a mysterious child bearing the mark of the dove. He's also in the middle of a budding romance with a daughter of the ruling family.
>Yeavinn, servant of Loec. Spreader of mirth and mayhem, spies for the Fey of Athel Loren. Recently became a war dancer and often plays tunes inspired by old rock songs on his lute because Loec. Crazy enough to worship Loec after Loec made him hallucinate about being raped by an Ogre.
>>
>>47684466
>Vigilante: Damage and social encounters, except he's hardly there for combat, and when you spend a week in a barren cave, you don't make too many social checks.
>Rogue: Suffering from useless-class syndrome. He says some stuff, usually to piss off the Vigilante or Alchemist. Still mad since the Vigilante threw into combat. Also devolving into the Dickbag thief.
>Cleric: An elf by the name of "Vlad". Acts like a vampire to piss off NPCs. Least arguable character. He heals, sometimes.
>Alchemist: Half-Orc poisoner; ran off from his old village, and ran into us. The Aegis is racist against him, and he likes to piss off the Rogue.
>Wizard: The Anti-Party Healer. Hasted a boss accidentally, blew him up accidentally, knocked out half the party accidentally. Also stutters. The only party member you can insult without repercussions.
>Aegis: My PC, thought it'd be interesting to be. Currently doubling as tank and damage dealer. I've been a few hit points away from death three times, and we're level four

Party's kinda large, but we usually have one or two people that can't make it each week (either the cleric or wizard). It's pretty cool, but holy shit we're antagonistic of one another.

First time ever playing tabletop, being the DM for a bunch of good friends.
We have:
>A Knighted Halfling Ranger with 16 Strength and no idea how combat works
>A Human Fighter who dual wields Longswords and likes to do non-lethal damage
>A Dwarf Fighter who has 4 Charisma and 8 Intelligence but 22 Constitution
>A Cleric literally ripped straight from the player's handbook cause the guy couldn't be bothered
And finally,
>An CN Elf Wizard who tries to fuck anything that moves and has so poor of a grasp on how magic works that he tried to use Magic Missile on the ground to launch himself up a ledge, saying that it would be like TF2 Soldier, then got upset when he knocked himself out because he had fucking 2 HP when he decided to do this

We have two fighters, a barbarians, a rogue, and a wood singer (homebrew class, based on the druid, but instead of the druid's class features, he can make objects out of trees by singing. Also limited to only Wood Elves)

>Fighter 1: Not!Mongol horse archer who left the army to become a merchant

>Fighter 2: Not!Nord archer. Brothers with the barbarian, and is traveling with him their Jarl was defeated by not Not!Kievans

>Barbarian: Not!Viking, brother with Fighter2.

>Rogue: Only female, used to be a maid of a powerful lord. Had to run away after she "borrowed" something of her mistress's.

>Me, Only nonhuman character. Wood Elf Wood Singer. Left home to learn the ways of the world.

>Tiefling sorcerer. Pyromaniac. No idea how to deal with society in a way that doesn't involve flinging magical fire around or committing petty theft.
>Wood elf monk. Former child soldier/assassin. No idea how to deal with a society that doesn't spend 20 hours a day punching stone blocks. Also, he lives in a box.
>Human ranger. Alcoholic. No idea how to deal with a society that contains more than fifty people.
>Eladrin cleric of Bahamut. Incredibly naïve. No idea how to deal with a society that isn't composed totally of LG eladrin clerics of Bahamut.
>Half-elf bard. Student and former part-time prostitute. No idea how to deal with hanging around a bunch of murderhobos.
>Human fighter (me). Nobleman banished from his city until he hunts down a traitor. No idea which god he pissed off to get stuck with these nutjobs.
>>
>Finally get character sheets from my players.

>>
A rotund druid, driven into foreign lands by his search for a destiny given to him in a false prophecy. He prepares his spells during his morning shits and is the only member of the party who was in there from the beginning.

A socially-awkward ranger, whose wolf companion rolls around in any muck and dead thing he can find. His most recent social escapade involved him crashing a play and making a man in a dragon suit cry.

The grumpiest half-orc cleric/fighter you can possibly imagine.

A bard who joined the party because of all the shit they get themselves into, hoping to one day write an epic that will cement his name in the history books.

And a female fencer with a thick French accent, who pines for the bard and gets herself into way too much trouble.
>>

>Human mage from Seattle. Sort of like a Grunge version of Andy Warhol, only about magic instead of art.
how so? like how does that actually manifest in play? i'm intrigued.

From a Burning Wheel game I play in.

>Princess of the realm, third in line to the throne (which her two older siblings are fighting over), skills include talking, knowing proper etiquette, knowing a bunch of people, and being the only party member with any money to their name, and practically nothing else. (She's trying to learn how to sword though)
>Holy knight of a new heretical religion, his family was murdered by the church for their heretical views. They however were friends with the king so when it was discovered that he survived the crown protected him
>Soldier/scout, and Holy knight's buddy from back when. He was assigned to be one of the princess' bodyguards after the old ones got killed before the start of the game. Has become Holy Knight's squire.
>Thief/wizard. Officially works for the crown as part of their spy network, but more often then not is just involved in petty crime. Princess brought him in to spy on her enemies, he has (sometimes) predictive dreams of the future which convinced him the party will be hot shit, and he wants in on that and so sticks around..
>>
Exalted Campaign: (With one exception, they didn't exalt until middle of the second session)

- Dawn Caste Archer. Is descended (5+ generations) from a god of the exalted equivalent of the aurora borealis. Has wings and lived in a mountain monastery for most of his life. Got sent out into the world on a half-baked prophecy. Sheltered as all heck, he became hedonistic as all heck. Sticks out like a sore thumb since he has wings. Exalted when he made an amazing long distance disarm attack to stop the villian's ritual.

- Night Caste Thief. Daughter of a yakuza/mafia lord. Daddy's little girl, left home since they figured it was less dangerous to the family out on her own (she's a bit bloodthirsty). She met up with the archer a while back and she basically mooches off of his naivety. Exalted when she managed to steal a magical macguffin from the villain and ninja-vanished out of there.

- Dawn Caste General. Captain of the guard of the town the campaign started in. She is more or less second in command to the town's defense but that's more of a formality since the "general" is the magistrate's cousin and leaves everything to her. She is a resistance twink and managed to exalt when she lead a charge into an army of ghosts and managed to shrug off a (what would have been) mortal blow from an uber bone-ghost thing.

- Eclipse Caste noble. A major noble of the town from a really old family. Is pretty non-adventurous but when an army of ghosts attacked the city, he made a REALLY impressive speech to rally the troops and steel their nerves (the speech was so good that we actually started clapping IRL) and exalted on the spot.

- Twilight Caste Sorceress. Is the Gandalf of the campaign. She was already exalted and came to town to track down the villain who caused the whole mess that resulted in everyone else exalting. Although a sorceress, she's actually a very proficient brawler. She also barely knows the rest of her (now) circle and she is already tired of their bullshit.

So we've just done the chargen, 5e. We've got
>a dragonborn pirate warlock
>a half-orc carpenter barbarian
>a human ranger
>and me, a DM with years of purely theoretical experience

Only the warlock's player knows what he's doing. The barbarian's player is his girlfriend. Him and the ranger have already had a that guy/dickass thief fight before the game even started.

We're going to run Lost Mines first to find our sea legs, except I can't seem to find the book in stores in my area.

We do more campaign Esque games, where we have 3 groups who come in every week to advance their and the setting's story.
This quarter (our campaigns are divided into 4 quarters of the year, one for every campaign, with the average campaign lasting 3 1/2 months or so)
This quarter we're doing a Skyrim scenario (was requested by our youngest group, I humored them, played a bit of TESV, and we've decided to play the main story, with a few twists)

Group 1
>The Dragonborn -
former Imperial legionnaire, prefers an axe and buckler with heavy armor (vanilla cinematic basically)
>The Lordling
Ranger, Imperial minor noble who's spent most of the game so far consolidating his position as Jarl of Falkreath.
>The Brewmaster
Resident neckbeard, cook, and general support character. Uses two large frying pans
>The Panther
Khajiit who serves as the party's face, class is basically a monk but has a talent for talking his way out of things irl and in game.

>group 2
>The Executioner
Thalmor Mage, pretty vanilla edge lord.
Acting Thalmor high commander in Skyrim
>The Prince
Edgelord's half brother that is half dark elf and half high elf (I dunno either)
Plays a Pretty much vanilla assassin, heavy focus on archery and poison-brewing. Is the less edgy of the two but leans towards "lolrandumedge" too often.
>The Anarchist
The only female in the group, Argonian Spellsword who l-o-v-e-s illusion magic, and enjoys maces.
Probably the most fun of all the groups in all ways.
>The Guard
Breton sword-and-board, likes to have magical gear, wants to train to be an enchanter
Currently paying off debt in service to Thalmor because Anarchist got him into some trouble.

The first is our "good guys" and the second is our "bad guys"
>group 3
Meets after the first two groups, mainly our older guys who didn't want to/weren't interested in the general campaign, they do all of the NPC movement and advance the story where the party isn't needed or able to get to.

>Half-Elf Rogue. Our captain, oh captain. Son of the previous captain, who died because it made the plot happen. Big shoes to fill, nice guy.
>Human Barbarian. Definitely-not-a-raider from the north. Ulfen Dude. Bodyguard, basically.
>Skinwalker Swashbuckler. Totally not a furry, He swears. Can't for the life of me remember his story.

> Lucina

A dark elf trickster, driven from the underdark because of her interest in arcane magic. Conniving, mendacious and a consummate thief, her only loyalty is to coin and the pleasures it can buy her. The party security specialist.

> Talos

A dwarf storm sorcerer, who has harnessed the power of thunder and lightning because magic entertains him. He's the stupidest person in the party, but his childlike fumbling occasionally reveals a flash of brilliance. The party blaster.

> Vin

Amnesiac human paladin of vengeance with strange new powers courtesy of a warlock patron. Teeters on the edge of moral ambiguity, as he's always prone to pick the quick and easy path, and will strike a bargain with anything if it'll bring him closer to unlocking the mystery of what happened to his comrades. The party leader.

> Temuchiin

A half-orc barbarian with a flaming sword, Boots of Flying and a rap sheet a mile long. Despite being arguably the most wanted criminal in the kingdom, he's also the party conscience, and is always coming up with new schemes to save the group from losing a fight, on the battlefield or off. The party bruiser.

> Jax

A catfolk mercenary and criminal who has founded his own rat catching business. Hates being called short, and is liable to respond to taunts with violence. Hotheaded, impatient and proud, his fragile ego hides a much gentler soul. The party sniper.

> Bogdan

A vampire hunter who seems to live off of vodka and hatred. Bogdan thinks with his pistol and isn't afraid to show it. Bogdan is loyal to the party out of principle -- he's not one to go back on his word -- but he expects to be paid, and paid well. The party tracker.

Big group, but fun, with a tendency to derail into drinking.

>Dwarven Battlemind
main tank, likes shiny rocks a bit too much but he's a noble so it's expected. Also has a strange fascination with showing his nipples to monsters.
>Tiefling Paladin
off-tank, tends to play on his alcoholic tendencies (in-and-out of character) a bit much, currently DM's focus of hate (he face tanks everything)
>Dwarven Cleric
heals, a Servant of the God of Love seeking to fuck all the elves. Currently riding around on an undead Ogre as his mount/Emmisary of Love.
>Human Artificer
support, tries to come up with plans, worst luck rolling dice i've ever see, but still manages to deal half the damage when his dailies are out.
>Changeling Assassin
dps, has an owlbear, likes kittens, does a lot of ranged and stealth stuff, but, like a proper assassin, isn't flashy, just consistent.
>Halfling Rogue
dps, forgets half his attacks, never gets combat advantage, does piddling damage half the time, still contributes the best jokes and funniest fuck-ups.
>Eladrin Warlock/Assassin
DPS godmode, min/max stealth/damage guy who's decided fuck it, we anime now. good friend.

A preface: If you've not played Degenesis, it's breddy fun. I've run two sessions so far, and my group haven't lynched me.
PCs:
>Scrapper 1: wants to run a huge workshop someday, knows he needs lots of money and friends to get there, trying his damnedest not to die.
>Scrapper 2: sleazy conman who just wants to make as much money as he can before his number is up.
>Scourger: despises his cults propensity for slavery and wants to unite as many people as he can within the setting. Very much embodies the noble savage archetype. Protects the Neolibyan NPC with the party
>Judge: Down to earth man of law who just want's to bring criminals to justice.
>Chronicler: honestly I still don't know what this player is going for here, I guess a walking encyclopedia kind of guy. There to keep an eye on the party and ensure they complete their end of the bounty they've signed up for.

Then the NPCs they acquired
>Pneumancer: party saved from a small pack of gendos. Young and brash, feels indebted to the party, particularly the Judge.
>Spitalian: hired for the group to keep them from dying. She is young and nervous, but wants to help people.
>Scourger: a joke character who is inept at nearly anything, sibling to the neolibyan.
>Neolibyan: In Europe for the adventure and stories he can tell when he goes back south. The money is also a decent motivator.

I'm amazed too anon

It started with me as princess and one other guy as the knight (plus the GM), so the central conceit of the game was based around our ideas and the other two kinda got slotted in after.

What we came up with is that this new religion has sprung up in the kingdom, (or begun to increase in popularity, at least), and the main church doesn't like that so much, but the King had some friends who were part of it and basically thought they were harmless and so protected them. To complicate matters, the king is now ill and dying, and has proclaimed his eldest as his heir, which is my older sister, which pissed off my older brother, who has left the capital to gather support to challenge that shit.

The church is likely gonna proclaim HIM the rightful ruler while the people more loyal to the old king is gonna proclaim the the daughter, and it looks like a war of succession is inevitable.

The game started in the aftermath of an attack on the princess' caravan, while she was on a diplomatic visit to one of the kings vassals on the fence to try and convince him to support her sister (she just believes that if her sister marshals enough support, her brother will see it is hopeless and they can all be a family again, even if that is in actuality probably not the case).

Thus far the game has been about making diplomatic visits, tracking down those assassins (both the recent ones and the ones that killed the knight's family), and sometimes the wizard thief stealing shit. There is also this sub-plot involving the kingdom being at risk from monster attacks, and the fact that the war's gonna pull away resources from defending our boarders from that.

I would check out the official Burning Wheel forums if you are interested in reading AP write ups. I do a session by session write up of this game (BHWS), and there is some pretty good shit on there that blows my games out of the water.

Two demigods chosen by the god of the sun and perfection, one demigod chosen by Satan who was killed by the others ancestors long ago.
The first is a zenith. Keeps the party together and working on common goals. Good at preaching and convincing people to be better and never surrendering.
The other is a twilight. Huge genius who knows just about everything. Good at keeping the others alive and making artifacts and summoning demons as slaves.
The other two aren't that handy in a fight and that's where the infernal comes in. Capable of taking on entire armies by herself and more. Was convinced by the zenith to give up the whole enslaving the planet thing.
Currently the party is working on trying to stop a few scattered nations in the south from going to war with the central empire and to instead go to war with skeletor slightly to the north.

Alien babe from Raygun Gothic Venus stranded after her ship crashed and all the other crew died in said crash or to animal predatations.
She's an inventor and trying to build a distress beacon so she can go home.

Know it all Ranger who knows everything about survival and can McGuyver any kind of shelter, trap or weapon.
Or, more accurately, order everyone else to do so while he sits back and defends doing nothing with 'who else knows how to do it?'

Plant Girl who insists she's a highly magical Dryad. Can telepathically talk to and control plants and fungus because the DM didn't know any better Poision Ivy style and knows a lot about herbology. Constantly butting heads with the ranger and is seemingly crushing hard on the medic.

Army Field Medic who was caught in some kind of bubble of time time-space and ended up here along with half her platoon.
They got captured and she's tagging along with us to rescue them.
She's a by-the-book tight arse who is having trust issues with a fish-out-water alien, an arsehole survivalist, a lovesick girl with leaves for hair and literal amber kidney stones and a two and a half metre tall lizard slave.

Finally is the Reptile.
It's violent-prone and ill tempered, especially towards the Venusian.
It's people are a slave race on Venus, they fled here to be free and now it's been slapped in chains and dragged along because the party doesn't trust a walking crocodile and the Alien can't grasp the concept of a free slave.
It wan't nothing more then to ravage the orange-skinned girl and head back home to it's family but is prepared to be a paitent hunter and wait things out for now, helping carry equipment and attacking what it's ordered to attack.

We are sticking together on a rescue misson for the captured soldiers as they'll have technology for the Alien to use to build a signal booster and the Ranger wants to learn about their guns and gun powder.

Together we try and not all get killed on Gamma World.

Myself, a borderline alcoholic martial arts practitioner with more balls than brains with a bottomless wallet and an obnoxious sense of humour.

A discarded genetic experiment with anger issues and a fondness for bladed weapons who worked as a blacksmith when she wasn't busy munching her latest girlfriend's rug.

A disgruntled soldier who just wanted to die/live with his wife in peace, but couldn't due to being on the shitty end of a deal with dark gods and was stuck with the rest of party more or less against his will as punishment for a failed assassination attempt of the kingdom's primary monarch

An Elf with extremely high levels of patience and common sense who mostly had to babysit the party so we didn't all kill each other over stupid shit.

A super soldier engineer with a keen knack for leadership problem solving and science, as well as child rearing. Probably the most well adjusted member of the party.

A normal guy who was in the wrong place at the right time. Played guitar, and used enemy skulls like the stage floor at a The Who concert.

We had some group turbulence from time to time, but it was a fun group. I'd do anything to play one last session. I really miss them...
>>
First up is our mage: Turban wearing Muslim who left the Middle East right before it went to shit and is on some kind of vision quest. Stony silent, kind of an asshole, cast influence magic on his fixer and his face within the first hour of play.

Face: A man who aims to be a strictly professional criminal, but who comes across as the dad of the group half the time. Hates gangers to the point that on the first run, he decided to burn down a warehouse full of unconscious Triad boys.

Street Sammy: A disgraced doctor with a serious hatred for cybernetics. Considers cyber to be a detriment to society, stressing that bioware is truly the way of the future. Better at doctoring than killing, but still a decent sammy considering where the guy put his skills.

Decker: An NPC run by the GM (me). A short blonde elf who is very quiet, but knows all sorts of different trades. Basically built them a skill monkey, but the secret is that their decker is actually hardcore addicted to BTLs. Wonder when they'll figure that one out.

Shadowrun game. The premise of game is we all started off as literally homeless people, the idea being we have to work our way up. We tweaked the rules a little to make it more interesting.

>Party Face
The living embodiment of the story "hobo with a paperclip", he's a guy guy. He finds out what people need, and finds people that can fill the need. Or does it himself.

>"Street San"
A tough orc, that out of the whole party, knows how to throw a punch, or pull a trigger. A natural born athlete, dispite going sometimes days at a time without eating. Loves sneakers.

> Party "mage"
A character partly inspired by the Dresdin Files. He used to be a magical crime scene investigator, but the few years he spent looking at the awful things people would use magic for turned him hard and bitter against magic, which led him to fall into the wrong type of crowd, which ended up missing off the wrong kind of people, which landed him on the black list, and out on the streets. Best part is he's a full blown mage himself, even went to mage college, and is one of the only two people in the party with an actual SIN.

> Second "street Sam"
A landed Japanese immigrant with a degree in business and the other holder of a SIN. His dad pulled strings with his corporate contacts to have him shipped state side to hide him from the Yakuza and make a life for himself. Unfortunately without dads supervision he jumped ship to live his dream as a go ganger, and managed to collect a championship leather jacket within the Baron's racing scene. Unfortunately he hit hard times when his go gang was wiped out and most of his worldly possessions were taken, he misses his bike a lot. He slapped together a functioning Uzi (think automatic pipe rifle) and loves using it.

>Party Sneak
A bit of a mirrors edge clone, really athletic, but the player is new to the setting. Was affiliated with a gang the group came in contact with, that i fortunately went sour. For slightly obvious reasons, she threw down with us

It's been a wicked ride.

[Spoilers]Guess who I'm playing[/Spoilers]
>>
DnD 5e, everyone's first time playing. It's also my first attempt at DM'ing, though I've played enough as a player to know what I'm doing.

>Human Fighter
De facto leader of the party. Also team off-tank, but focuses more on damage. Humble origins as a tanner turned adventurer when he killed a cockatrice. Big on honor, but is practical enough not to be naive. Also cursed by RNGesus, rolls Nat ones many times.

>Wood Elf Ranger
Somewhat generic Legolas copy. Jokingly referred to as the protagonist of the party because of all the shenanigans he got into. Rolls on both ends of the specturm, either critting to pull of something insane, or fumbling a grapple attempt. Got captured by enemies once, and had to escape with help from the party. Typically stays in the backline and fires his weapon.

>Hill Dwarf Warlock
Designated Party face, due to high charisma. Only evil member of the group. I homebrewed a system that allows him to summon demons to make up for his meager presence in battle.

>Dragonborn Barbarian
Party tank. With an oversized weapon and some buffs from the Warlock and Cleric, he turns into an unkillable rage-filled tank that does loads of damage. Laconic and intimidating.

>High Elf Cleric
Party healer that has saved everyone's asses on multiple occasions. Uses utility and healing buffs to make sure everyone is healthy.

>Eladrin Rogue
Youngest member of the party with exceptionally high stats, barring constitution. He almost always moves first in battle to deal sneak attack damage. A bit of a loot hoarder, having multiple weapons that he doesn't even use(which consequently weighs him down due to the encumberance system). Acts more CN(with more than a little edge) than CG, but I let it slide because he's pretty young.

>Aasimar Druid
Has some of the best stats in the entire party, and the only female member of the group. She's busy most of the time though, causing her to either appear as cameos in the story, or to only appear for a short time.

A human from our world taken in by an eccentric old bard after being flung into the setting. Now seeks to find a way home and honor his mentors memory. The closest thing to a moral compass the party has.

A no nonsense half elf ranger who sticks for herself first with the party a close second. Has forcefully drug or thrown party members where she wants to go.

A human barbarian who loves violence and ail. Was originally part of the cult we are fighting until they left him for dead. Is terrified of the dark.

A brain damaged drow arcane trickster. Escaped the underdark to avoid execution. Besides the party and animals he could care less about anyone else. Has a verbal tick of renaming random objects after taking a rock to the head.

A halfling turned assassin after a noble killed his wife. Currently on a quest to find his pet raven and take over a kingdom. Most level headed character, though his player wants to somehow justify him collecting chickens to form an army.

All goblins, all brothers.
We made an idiot group to face Rappan Athuk and we are currently strolling through the dungeon like it was a piece of cake.

>Ix-Har Rack-Ta-Clack, First of His Name
goblin inquisitor/fighter, eldest brother. Wields a horse chopper many times taller than him with proficiency. Stronk philosopher of laziness and ignorance. Waits for enemies to come closer and then kills them in large swings. Doesn't really use his judgment ability that much, he just likes mauling and chopping people. He's recently starting to use guns.

>Sexxxxtus
Goblin alchemist (vivisectionist) with barbarian multiclass, second eldest brother. Spends most of his time in mutagenic form and soon his mutagenic alternate identity will arise. during combat he claws and bites and flings as many goblin skullbombs as he can. The only one to have a positive int score, because he apparently attended some form of higher education he calls 'the university of life' or 'the street school' despite living with his brothers and his tribe in a swamp. Being somewhat educated makes him the second most despised member of the group.

>Apperol Spritz
goblin summoner/cavalier of the order of the chimera. Third brother. His horrible mount/eidolon is a wretched, hairless humanoid-dog creature with a human face called Pringles, whose only means of communication are a call that sounds suspiciously like a man ejaculating with surprise. The rest of the party hates this beast with a burning passion. Apperol defends him but his brothers keep using him in suicide missions because if killed, it will just come back to his home plane for some time.

>Pitt
goblin gunslinger and youngest brother. Every time he shoots he shouts 'PEM!' like some sort of onomatopoeia. This usually ruins any type of stealth mission. He's becoming too stronk and has numerous quarrels with his eldest brother.
He also killed a froghemoth on his own.

>Human rigger from London,

Read that as 'Human nigger from London', went WTF for a minute there.
>>
We've got Generic Fighterman 1.0 who likes to hit things with a sword, his ranger half-elf best friend from Bumfuck Village, Edgelord Wild Magic Sorcerer who just blasts things to double death, and a Definitely Not a Furry (tm) Wild Shape focused druid.

They're a pretty fun bunch.
>>
Twi'lek pilot and captain of the ship.

Droid assasin, who looks like a R2-D2. We installed a grenade launcher inside. Also his previous owner wanted to kill us all and return droid, because there was something inside worth 2000000 credits.

Two jedi characters. One of them autistic and passive, other more agressive and always got dumb idea for every situation. (But it was the autistic one, who intimidated taxi driver to give fair ride by jamming driver's arm into the driver's ass)

Human smuggler, who meant to be the face of party, but was too lazy|unpredictable for this role.

And my character, fucking smartass fur rug with speech disability. Wookiee engineer, later also takes career of doctor, only character with intelligence above average.
