Alright.
I know imperial guard had plasma pistols at some point and I'm starting the long progress of equipping my guard with plasma after hearing its become useful again.
Problem is, Games workshop only has plasma guns on their site.
Is there another kit?

There's not much to go on.
Basically some Australian has been beating everyone at his local store with only plasma based tactics.
He's been known to use artillery to tank kill and has adapted every time someone try's a new tactic.

here is what i do,
command squads and scions have plasma weapons, so buy a few.
NEXT go to your FLGS look in their bits bin, collect all plasma weapons.
Knife off chaos or space fur bits.
Cut off arms from las pistols from the guardsmen arms replace with plasma.
If you're ok with forgeworld stuff, they have plasma upgrade kits but you'll need to buy the legs for them.

I've seen a bunch of spurs in a draw at my local games workshop store, but i was under the assumption that we had to pay for those.
People were grabbing bits from them before.
