1714: Case of the Catalans looks neat. I might buy it, but I know I'll never play it because I don't have the necessary friends.
Post games you wish you could play, but know you won't. Bonus for games you own and counter count.
One from my collection, not my pic tho
Fortress Berlin
480 counters
playtime somewhere around a weekend if you have it, a week if you work
I originally believed it to be a grog holy grail but the individual turns are pretty straightforward, and most soviet counters run down to there being like 8 armies which all act as a unit most of the time, while on the german side much of the remaining counters is worthless VS, improvised troops or police which have very little practical use beyond roadblocks.

That looks like one hell of a serious nerd game.

It's definitely up there

>calculators
>tweezers
>graphs and charts
I'm trying to imagine how to make that nerdier, and the only thing I can imagine is requiring graphing calculators.
This is the kind of thing I wish I could get into solely so I could invite friends over and act like a snob when they are put off by it.

>Put the maps under glass, both to hold the mapsheets down, and so you can write notes on the board.
Nicely done.

Slide rules are even nerdier than graphing calculators.

I do that with bad cheese.

>le meme game
It's complexity is vastly overrated. If you can play 40k then you could sure as fuck play CfNA with no problems.
