Anyone here play, or is this board MtG or GTFO?

Usually all talk on the game is done on /vp/ but they are afraid of physical cards over there.

This board is mtg AND gtfo
Most trading card game discussion is done on other boards, because as soon as a non-magic card game thread starts on /tg/ magicucks REEEEEEEEEEEEE until the thread is deleted/dies.

It really feels degenerate to me.
The draw power in this game is absolutely insane, and you can just slap down EX monsters as basics.

I play a bit online, but only because you can play for free. I mostly just play theme versus matches.
Used to play physical, though. Was in the original TCG league.
>also play Magic, YuGiOh, and Cardfight Vanguard, have played more in the past

I've played a bit of it.
The power creep is kinda bad, but if you deliberately build nice balanced decks, it's not a problem.

There is nice and helpful Pokemon TCG community on /vp/ If you want to talk about it
I was super into it as a kid. Thought about going back into it, but it turns out Pokemon turned into a massive clusterfuck.
I'd play locally using my cards, which went through the start of the fourth gen or so.
I remember this,
Back in my day they're were only 150 Pokémon and you liked it.
Did anything change from back then?

Pokemon is degenerate, but less so than mtg, but still no.
I play it online sometimes. Pokemon EX are interesting and I still have no idea what a Break pokemon is, but I like some of the new ideas like attaching tools.
never played the game, just collect the cards, such beautiful cards.
