Do you ever put music on in the background of your games? Just to fill the space or add a special flare to certain moments? Post some music in this thread.
Always been a fan of this soundtrack: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJ7eq0_4HC8

These albums are quite good to set a general mood:

Witcher Soundtracks are also amazing:

Oh, and on your general question - yes, I always run games with music. I have some general playlists e.g. town / travel / forest / minor battle / major battle / sad / epic etc. with enough songs to put on
NieR Soundtrack is also god tier

I'd say your best guess is to hunt for soundtracks and ambient tracks. A lot of video game soundtracks can be extracted from their files to find a bunch of loopable tracks.
I follow a somewhat Dark Souls philosophy of either straight FX tracks or minimal music before being interrupted by a significant event, though this is just to reinforce the setting; your musical needs may vary.
Can anyone help me collect a bunch of music with a dark souls and bloodborne feeling? I need some easily loopable battle music against eldritch angel knights and dead gods.

Also I should note that actual dark souls and bloodborne music isn't acceptable, my players are too familiar with it.
Any good numenera song compilation?

You sir have the best of tastes and I CAN'T FUCKING WAIT FOR AUTOMATA
>Two Steps from Hell
>Audiomachine extended edits (because most of their songs are ~2 minutes long)

Usually only play music during important character introductions or bossfights. Other than that my players usually have their own music going at home due to playing online.
So far the track used to best effect was Warlord, spinal's theme https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DA3pIsiX0o for the big bad's advent.

Usually we don't, but soon or later I'm going to propose it.
The stories that the guys of my group want are not serious stories, so I couln't use tracks that sound very serious or majestic, though. I think some Atlus games have the kind of music that could fit that kind of stories.
For example, I'm playing Persona 4 Arena:
those could work as a specific boss' theme
Phase 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1iN41edczc
Phase 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQ8r7t5gCC8
pretty cool tracks that don't sound too serious.
This one as monk class's theme
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BvdDeL_x6nI
very fun track.
This one for some joke events

Devil Summoner is another game full of tracks that could work for a not serious story very well. For example, I think this could work very well for a sort of daring escape event:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWM3gH3qXYc
this one for some mid-bosses
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=enmbF7E0F0s
this one for some comfy events
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jG9usjN5AI8
The kings theme:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O93lImrRTu4
The witchs theme:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4GnAZvyyC4c
The wizards theme:
https://youtu.be/z8sd-gJg2sk?t=22m21s
The Archangels theme:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1qS9LMuK8M
I often use character themes if a special character approaches and battle themes for the fights. In cities/towns/forests I use enviromental audio.

So OP, any specific event in which you want to use it? A huge enemy invasion?
