A - No. We recognize that spreading out our efforts is what originally killed the project. Accordingly, we're focusing on just one thing at a time and finishing them out.

A - It generally comes down to what people like. Propose the idea and see if others want it.
Q - Is there a map/unified setting?
A - Nope. Though proposals have been made, nothing concrete has been created.

Here's an idea for the reworked rewards page, when we get to it.
Spend wealth to buy rewards you didn't qualify for. Like, 10 wealth to buy a costume, 20 for a body modification, and some not purchasable (Dragon Queen, Tower Princess, etc).

Triclops could be the one who captures and raises, while Trapbold captures and eats. Not sure how Triclops' story goes because I'm too lazy to just look, but so long as Trapbold's reasons for trapping are different, it'd be perfectly fine.

I agree on the "bold of our own" mentality. There's only so much you can do before it's a complete copy of something else. This is unique while still being similar to other things. Plus, Cutebolds are so featureless that you NEED to take artistic liberties for them to stand out.

I'm going to put it down to Hetros having a bit of an ego, he is the project manager and most managers I've met tend to have a chip on their shoulder.
I suspect he is getting into the mind set that they are the official Tower Girls continuation so we are just fan art and not important other than been the possible customer. Hopefully Duke or Gats can have a word with him.

While it's supposed to be a trap, I'd like to contest the bulge part. Reasons being;
- A bulge on a loincloth would add a humorous distortion to the cloth's direction
- The cloth could technically be further out than the bulge, concealing it even better to be sprung later
- Tribals don't ever have visible bulges on their loincloths, except in porn.
While I'd laugh my ass off if this one had a massive bulge that made the loincloth stick out, I'd greatly suggest the cloth not bulge at all.

I think it's patently obvious I owe you guys, and everyone in these threads, an enormous apology. I could have said what I said in much more polite terms, and I came across as a complete and total fuck-wit who was condescending to not only the person I was communicating with, but to the entire thread, including the members of our own team who have helped out on this, and was called to task by them for my post. What I said was purely my own opinions, and not those held by the team at large.
My personal belief has always been that the newer, fan made stuff, should be called Fan Gens, not because it gives the older gens more credence, but because I felt that by not saying that those charts were not made by Gats- then it's easier for others to think that they were, and thus make the mistake of thinking that these were not the works of dedicated anons and artists who love the fandom and wanted to expand on it.
It is obvious that whatever my intentions were, not only did I go about expressing them in the wrong way, but they were wrongheaded in the first place. I apologize again for being a tremendous jackass last night.

We see ourselves as picking up where Gats left off, and the offending post you mention implied that all out efforts amounted to little more than the mud from which the lotuses of other, better projects bloom.
All we ask is to be seen as a legitimate fork of the original Towergirls project and to be respected as such.

Why not expansion pack? Because like games (that are worth a damn) that have expansions, there's new content and mechanics. "Fan Gen" should be what we have as the current Fan Gen 1; additional and humorous extras.
That way, there's the original three, the two expansion packs, and the fan gen. Just my two cents.

As for what to call them, please don't call them "Expansions". I don't exactly have a great suggestion, but I want to avoid confusion in the future with those other pages that are like False Gen.

The reason I ask that is because False Gen (Wyvern Princess) would be the first Expansion Gen. The differentiation being important because what we make for Gens IV and V "Fan Gens" won't have any old "these didn't make it on Gats' original chart" type princesses and thus won't be fan princesses.

Gats here. I've had plans for Gen IV and V since Gen III, but when the lewd edition of the charts was completed, I was glad to have that downtime. There were other projects starting up (the knights, the other Gen IV, the Towergirls: Subtitle Pending game, etc) that it seemed like people definitely had enough to do, but eventually time had passed and I had no clue how to begin gens IV and V. Ideally I've been wanting to re-do the charts entirely, but with people working on their own, I felt as if it'd be unfair to them. When I heard that there was work being done on new charts (the ones you guys have now) I've been having fun with seeing how they've turned out.
I still have plans for Gen IV and V, and I've always had notes hanging around for what they'd include, how things would look, etc. but I've purposely not put a hand in these charts so that people can work together to make their own stuff, and frankly it's pretty fucking cool. So if I'll be doing Gen IV and V, it won't be as a chart, it'll be as something else. If I do make charts, they'll look different to the current ones. Either way, the charts you guys have made are absolutely your own, which I don't think was ever in doubt.

Some things I will point out since they probably have more weight if I say them: you don't have to do the trap for every gen thing, that's already like, six traps. I found it funny while I was doing the charts, but 'canonically' I consider nomad female, and holstaur non-futa, along with just about every other fetish being non-legit. It was the 'lewd' edition after all, and those were there to make stupid jokes, but people definitely took them seriously after a while. I don't automatically assume plant princess loves watersports and honestly, neither should you guys.

Well, I'm going to continue with that tradition. With all the effort we've made to keep it, I see no reason to stop it, sepecially when This Cutebold already fulfills it for this gen.
Also, I just wanted to ask. With the first 3 gens dragons being colored as aspects of Tiamat. It always felt natural that 2 more gens should have been done to complete the set. So when I came into towergirls for Gen V I thought that while the quality of IV was not are strong as 1-3 it was still regarded as part of a set.
It just feels odd to leave it at 3 gen as the "official" parts of towergirls, poor Tiamat needed her Black and White or else her head would feel a lil light.

Trying to remember back to that time, originally every dragon 'hoarded' something, whether it was money, knowledge, friendship, etc. I think DPIV hoarded weapons, and DPV hoarded relics. Some things are still the same (DPIV is still an aggressive asshole), but things like the 4th gen being water-based and 5th being eastern are now reworked.
In terms of projects, I've helped people out every now and again with their own, and with my own there's just the one - attempts to figure out how to best express my interpretation of the lore. I've given some of my own ideas to Subtitle Pending, and a side thing I'm working on for them will hopefully scratch that lore itch along with helping them advertise for their game.
