Google "Mythic GM Emulator". Boom, solo roleplaying. It can be used with any other system, as well (not just the crap RPG it's sold with).

Not really. It's the GM / player dynamic that makes them work. You would be better served gaming with others online RollD20 or similar.

Try Kingdom Death! It's a really good single-player RPG. Little pricey, but immensely worth it, and playable if you ever make friends too.
