Characters from media as inspiration thread
These two are wonderful IMO
Hmm, anime/manga would be too easy. Lets try something else.
Ahh yes, the only proper way to play a character who's a noble.

I've been wanting to make a rogue in the same vein as Styx here for a while.
The issue is that he'd be nearly useless in combat, though I suppose I could mostly solve that by just picking up a crossbow and plinking assholes from cover.

would be the perfect monk
Does it count if you're GM and use them as inspiration for your campaigns BBEG? Because I did something inspired by pic-related and Scar from Full Metal Metal Alchemist as a BBEG once, bent on wiping out non-divine mages because that was the realm of the gods.
Except I played it straight instead of his public persona and the source of his powers being a complete lie.

This even out yet?

Sure!
And that sounds like an awesome idea, anon.

Never checked that Styx thing out. What's it about? Any good?

Oh also it's a stealth game. you're a tiny goblin in a city full of asshole humans. I couldn't tell you if it's good because Stealth games really aren't my thing.
I've used the perfect mix of Vash the Stampede and Wolfwood for a fighter once.
Carefree and happy, but still serious when he needs to be. With a bit of a faux-preacher going on as well. Ended up taking a few levels of Cleric to drive the preacher part home.
