The outcome doesn't change much.

Nonetheless, as the bodies are still in one piece and not [Destroyed] and there is a surgical unit in the basement /and/ you have a (nearly) trained doctor on staff, it should still be possible to save Roma, No Name and [8]. It merely requires

A) recovery the bodies
B) surgery
C) hoping for the best

Unfortunately yes. Every E-stimm auto-fired (except [8]'s, which was already used) It would normally just be enough, but the flame-spray seals the deal.

However, because of the E-stimms none of the bodies are so egrigrously damaged that recovery is impossible. So there's that slight boon.

First things first you gotta do is make sure your drones stay stable. We can fix 'em just fine.

Most of 'em were scrap but the armory did hold a 1x MiniPod rocket launcher system. Those Contaimnet units are pretty hard hitting and hard to rip apart, and the Ace Pilot you all wrecked mostly blew his own suit apart.

We can fix yours up to full Integrity though, and add a secondary weapon bay. ServoSuits are pretty bulky and kinda hard to improve without [Power Tools], though. How about it? Flamethrower and rocket-pod ain't a half-bad combination.

This is old, dusty tech. They don't use these nowadays when the wireless network mostly permeates the universe. Checking the databases also makes it abudantly clear that this Contaiment Facility has not been in contact with official Seniral Minoris Penal Authority for months, and that the Bonejackers likely broke out then took over the facility.

But why they were still recieving prisoner transports (every thing is signed in correctly) and who they were selling the remains of said prisoners too is harder to find out now that Ferli managed to escape.

The records only reveal that the surviving SMPA personnel is Xen222 and his 4 buddies (Each taciturn, each mostly unwilling to speak). They've kept to themselves.

They prisoner transports kept arriving for months after official control over the facility was lost - so someone on the other end had to be arranging the influx.

There are no records on file of any prisoners meant to be contained in Cellblock 4.

Seniral Minoris is an erratic station, free-floating in the void. When we first found it 93 years ago it was mostly uninhabitable save for the scuttering swarms of repair drones and the left-over machinery still functioning. The Driet are never forthcoming with the scraps they left behind, and the original functioning of Minoris is hard to grasp. What's the possible use for this much metal hammered into shape and anchored near a gravitional well, near synchronous orbit with a planet that already had a moon? What exactly did the Driet strip mine to construct all this?

Something about Minoris is a little off.

Whatever weapons was unleashed on the surface tore great chunks of the inner workings. For the last unknown millenia, the still functioning on-station systems have been trying to repair damage too vast to fix with ressources it doesn't have, drawing on supply stock long since exhausted.

If no repairs are made because no repairs can be made by systems with no oversight and too much damage to be coherent, how does Minoris sustain itself?It has life, of a kind. Fertile ground. There are springs and water-flows. Sectors more jungle than metal, some desert, an equatorial belt of lush lands in dire contravention of every standard understanding of atmospherical phenomena.

The great security doors meant to turn this tiny research-base into a viable facility has been rent open. Gouts are turn in the concrete ground. The plants are slowly making their inside. The damage doesn't look older than a week. Dust and dirt hasn't settled yet.

So I'm looking for someone. They call him the Bone Eater. It's actually worse than it sounds, but it's not what you'd think. Anyways, all I know is that wherever he'd be on this planet, it'd be nowhere near what you'd call 'civilization.' I'm sure you know about the agreement all the big research corps have banning the research of certain types of nanotechnology after that incident with the Comet. And being as you are in the info business, I'm sure you know that behind closed doors, all of them are still doing it anyways, just where it can't be traced back to them. Now, those hidden labs are always getting raided, and the scientists are always getting shuffled off to some other corporation's hidden lab, but the money usually isn't very good, and the risk of your employer deciding to tie up loose ends is usually too high. But I have a lead on someone who usually isn't in circulation, because he's valuable enough that they bury him as deep as they can. It's possible you haven't heard of Dr. Buccini before, because they don't publish this stuff, but in the illegal nanotech field, he's pretty much the biggest fish. Standard practice is to erase anyone who even comes into contact with him, in case they might leak his location. But the problem when you send someone like me to get rid of people who know too much is that sometimes, before I put a bullet in their head, I pull a couple thoughts out first. The good doctor is on Seniral Minoris, and the last people to take custody of him were UNCC. To the right person, this information is priceless, so hopefully you'll be able to get something good for it. Just remember to have someone covering your back during negotiations.

Whatever it was is no longer in range. The only thing Wraith detects is absence. A disquieting sensation.

The spongy vines don't help much in climbing, they're too fresh. They rip off the wall with the slightest applied effort.

Up close the corpse turns out to be a young-ish soldier, the scars are give-away. Curiously there's no name tag, just a bar on the uniform that reads "PFC. W-17".

The busted armor isn't worth any more, and even the bootknife has been taken by someone else. Something ripped straight through the reinforced fibre, but it doesn't look like bullet wounds. A little gleaming white comet in a laurel patch is stained with a smear of blood.

The BOTIS is a UNCC Drop Troop assault rifle. Unfortunately it's ID locked to the original owner with some angry, defensive biometrics and is so impossible to use without cracking or bypassing that defense somehow. If you press the trigger to find out what the gun does, the gun will explode.
