It's shit from a gameplay perspective and it also annoyed be that despite it advertising how you could get scenes depending on what form you beat the boss with they just completely dropped that idea after the second(?) boss because from then on bosses would automatically defeat you unless you were using a specific one.
Gameplay was definitely my biggest issue though, the previous Raidy games never had amazing gameplay, but the map layout was always pretty solid and you would have rooms to interact with and sometimes find shit in as well as NPCs in the dungeons and it was nice and fun. In 3 though the maps were overly massive yet filled with nothing and it made the game a fucking chore to actually get through to the point where I just grabbed a 100% save and watched the story through the scene viewer because I couldn't be fucked to play it myself.

I don't delude myself, I enjoy them for that. Hell, after being disappointed in Raidy 3 I replayed Raidy 2 because I enjoyed the grindfest in it more. The problem with Raidy 3's grindfest is that it is just that with nothing to break it up but hoping you eventually find the next floor in the horribly large areas that I'm pretty sure are around 3 or 4 times the size of the largest Raidy 2 maps.
