I've been trying out some spicy salsa islands tech. With Hayley's ability, Tech Writer, Scheherazade, Professional Contacts, and the number of credit-neutral programs shapers have access to, it's been rather fun. No Imp or Cache cycling, but refreshing D4v1d at will is fun. Too much set-up for tier 1, just enough shenanigans for tier fun!

Continuing with my Fisk rambling, sorry in advance, but been hard working on that deck for a while...

So, one thing Fisk is supposed to do is artificially create agenda flood. And, obviously, the very existence of Howard so far has killed that plan dead in its tracks. In the competitive meta at least.

Got me thinking yesterday though. Crims are supposed to be the faction that hits HQ. They're the ones that are best equipped to deal with agenda flood. From HQ multi access to Gang Sign. How much more than the other two faction do you think crims diminished by the very existence of Howard, a card that is just too goo at its job?

By the way... Fisk + Woman in the Red Dress + Bhagat is very fun, despite killing your influence.

Well, the thing is that nobody plays Criminal as a Flood faction. Nobody targets HQ as their end game, unles you count Siphons. Gabriel and Silhouette both uses HQ to stablish a certain degree of board control, but they are not stealing agendas from it. Which is why everybody thinks Honor and Profit sucked for Criminals.
So, in fact, even when Jackson should have done plenty of damage, it goes barely noticed in the competitive meta due to R&D lock and remote snipe.

Crims get killed pretty hard by J-how, much like Weyland gets killed by ice destruction - it's bad for everyone, but when a large part of your focus is on one thing, that thing getting weaker weakens you a lot

Man, I hope we get some more anti-AI tech, that guy + David is brutal
>>
>>46854950
>it goes barely noticed in the competitive meta due to R&D lock and remote snipe.

Yeah, that's partly why I'm asking the question.

We ended up with the focus on R&D lock in no small part because of FA. What I'm wondering now, because I hadn't looked at it from that angle, is, first how much FA happens to be a problem born of the original issue of agenda flood, and then now how much of the pestering about agenda flood was just in fact a consequence of Crims being the dominant faction in the early times of the game.

I don't think this is the best version of the deck, but it scratches my inevitability itch. I think Lady would be a good trade for a DaVinci or other utility program to increase aggression. Refractor and Lockpick are also pretty great, but it takes more card slots than a couple of CyCy.

She may be worth it as a one of. Only one credit to install and nets you a credit over Proco each time you grab your returned program. You even have one influence unspent. Worth a try in my opinion.

Or you could slot out Inti for Lady with that influence. It will be a 4 credit difference to break wraparound, but its not free so its not as easily bouncable.

I never thought I'd say this, but this list may actually call for Cybosoft MacroDrive. You don't have the memory for Sahasrara, can't use netchips and keep your installing credit, most of your programs are 1-2 credits (save david), and you are constantly installing things. You should be able to get that credit every turn and if you Haley it out, its like a kate's discount on prepaids. The only problem could be D4v1d, which is costly.

>a consequence of Crims being the dominant faction in the early times of the game.
That's an interesting point. If we assume that FA is a consequence of Crims harashment, without the tools for fast advance the Corps might have leaned more heavily for glacier, ambushes, and flatlines; the more Netrunner part of the game. Supermodernism could have made a bigger impact, and with it, the anarch rise might have come earlier. Destroying both their ICE and damage cards before they get used and using AI breakers to bypass their gearchecks. Noise solitaire might became stronger because of it though.

MAYA.jpg

I'm entering into jank territory with Fisk over here.
I included 3 panchatantra, 3 gingerbread as fake AI breakers. But after a few games I get the feeling that panabread is not enough and I need normal breakers. Now I need extra MU. I was playing 2x Vigil because Fisk, and 2 R&D interface. The obvious choice for extra MU would be BOX-E. But I thought, what if I swap the Vigils and 1 R&D interface for 2 Maya? I would send troublesome cards to the bottom of R&D while feeding shit to the Corp.
Problem is I'm losing multiaccess in the process. Meaning less options for Maya.
Good idea? Jank idea? Is sending the card to the bottom of R&D worse than the conditional free draw I get from Vigil?
>>
>>46862567

Back in Rambling mode, sorry in advance.

I don't like the idea of Maya + Fisk for one simple reason: by the time you can use Maya, you can't trigger Fisk's ability anymore.

One of the things I really like about the ID is, since the agenda flood plan is hard, you can fall back on... let's call it tempo control mode.
With Woman in the Red Dress on the table (and/or Globalsec Sevurity Clearance... I've had both on the table on a few select occasions, and that can be a lot of pressure on the corp) you can see the card on top of R&D. Meaning you know when to run there, and when not to. At worse you can just run there and force the corp to draw a card you know wouldn't have been an agenda.
And if you don't run there anyway, you're fastening the clock of the corp by a count of three cards per turn (corp draw, WitRD draw, Fisk draw.... add a Bhagat discard... which can now be selective since you know what card you're targeting and we're talking).

The corp needs to have a locked R&D. It needs defenses on the remote to prevent snipping. It needs defenses on HQ. It needs a remote that you can't snipe via Inside Job.

Add Gang Sign to the mix, and with good reading you can do decent things - the only time you want to use FIS really is when you know the corp is about to score - can't play those supernumerary cards *and* score at the same time, has to make a choice.

So now, about programs, the rig you want, I find is a rig that can run once per turn, as many turns as possible. Which screams Stealth to me... but then coming by the influence ON TOP of all the tools you need to make use of you ability is a deal breaker.

And then there's all the tools you need to have just to make sure Howard dies. Becasue that's your first priority. Even if just Feint + the gun to fasten the use, you don't want Howard firing on Agendas.

>>46853726

By the way, before I forget again: Why I run + the Gingerbread illustration = Genius.
>>
>>46862567

By the way, if you're going in full overdraw mode, Vigil is great, but I find Turntables can be pretty good too with Fisk. You steal a "throwback" agenda from the corp which is the most likely kind you're going to get with your strat, you trade it for a sensitive one.

>>46863511
>>46863410
Thank you, I'm going to give all that some thought.

To clarify, my initial idea was to use Maya-Fisk the turn after with the information I gathered the previous turn.
I access 2 cards, next turn the Corp draws the first one as his mandatory draw, and I force him to draw the other one, this is normal Fisk.
Or I can detect a problem card, send it to the bottom, and next turn may or may not force him to draw an unknown card.
Of course, this works best with 3 accesses, having perfect information of the play is pretty important, which is why I was so worried about dropping the second interface.

Never thought about the throwback agenda like that. I used to play an anarch build with 3 spoilers and turntables. If the Corp managed to score a good one, those 3 cards trashed might be another agenda that I can trade for it. It really won me the league.
>>
>>46864087

One thing, since I mentioned Bhagat, one of the reasons I started testing with him is
that, if you get really threatening with Gang Sign + HQI early enough in the game, some corps are just going to try and keep *nothing* of worth in HQ. And just waste minimal protection on it.

Bhagat gave me another angle of attack that still fit the original plan: corp makes R&D and scoring remote mad expensive to run? Well, HQ lets me hurt R&D too... Trash that top card I know I'll want through Archives, or I don't want the corp to draw, make it draw, giving me a chance to access something the corp couldn't have know would be there.

It's too bad, because, I *really* like the idea of Fisk. One of the IDs I've been most enthused about if only because of how different it is from the rest...

Finding the right pieces though? Tough job.

Do Jesminder and Qiuanju PT work with account siphon's two tags giving you no tags at all?
>>
>>46864087

Oh, and I get you on Maya + R&DI.

Thing is, with the R&D snipping, you don't have to waste R&D runs - or at least not as many. And each piece of your rig is directly useful on its own., while Maya is a bit of a dud when it's the only piece you have. Which can still be worthwhile in some situations, but here, I don't know, I don't think it's worth it. Especially with it costing three influence.

That being said, you know, do test. Sometimes first hunches get disproved by experience.

>>
>>46865912

Something that weirds me out is that, when you look at the beginning of the game, econ taxation and control really seemed like it would be a crim thing first and foremost.

You had Forged Activation Order and Crecentus/Emergency Shutdown, Account Siphon, Cortez Chip,

Anarch had... Xanadu and Vamp.and Whizzard.

To the point that, when Reina was released, most of the cool toys you wanted to build with her where in Blue.

I don't get why they made 2 separate abilities for the same effect, and then come up with an excuse to say they are different. I'm talking about Cortez Chip and Xanadu effects. Both effects increase the amount of credits the corp has to pay to rez.
Not even getting into the Vamp-Siphon because, as far as I'm concerned, Vamp feels very anarch in the way that it hurts both the runner and the corp.
Although then we have Bribery, a Vamp-like effect in the way that both must pay the same credits, but the Corp can decline to pay! It was such a let down. Forcing the Corp to rez the piece of ICE with the additional cost would have been incredibly interesting.

>>
>>46867273

Bribery allows for micro-targeted headlock. I've seen it played in Silhouette. Just pay 1-3 credits to put the ICE you've already exposed out of reach of the corp and go through, for less than it would have cost to break, if even you could. Not great. But playable. Used to play Cortez Chip like that with Reina in the very beginning to mass run R&D with Medium, since the chip lasts for a full turn.

Similar with Running Interference, only this one is more about getting once into that scoring super-server you haven't ran at for the whole of the game. Too big a gun really. Which is why I think they tried to introduce Bribery, as complement/correction.

Muertos Gang Member... I like it. It's not the strongest, but it's fairly interesting to play. Risky, but potentially very powerful.

Blackguard... that one hurt, so much potential. Been experimenting a bit again with recently it and I still just can't figure the right tempo for the deck.

>>46867712

Yeah, but the weird thing is, it was so much more a blue thing in the beginning. Really didn't expect the tables to turn that much.

On top of that, the install of the programs is clickless, so the console potential worth is:
12 credits of programs.
3 install clicks.
Which leaves us with a console worth of around 3 credits.

Of course, this doesn't really matter, you're still paying those programs, they are just included in the outrageous cost of the card.
Honestly, I'd just play Motivation+Eureka and fill the deck with programs to be ready to install whatever 3, then use Scavenge.
Maybe Oracle May filling the 1 influence slot.

Question for you guys.

I am just now branching out from the starter decks. What is a generally accepted deck size? The instruction manual has some recommendations and currently my decks are sitting at 49 cards.

How many cards do most players use to make decks?

For Runners stick to the minimum. That way you always get the cards you need and not random cards and dead draws.

For Corps, You need 45-49 cards for 20-21 agenda points. Stick to the upper limit, this way there are less chances for the Runner to access an agenda out of R&D, or you getting agenda flooded. This is what we call reduce the agenda density of your deck.
>>
>>46879554
>generally accepted deck size?
45 for runners (the minimum for most identities), 49 for corps (reducing agenda density).
>>
>>46879554
Runners generally go for the minimum they can, or 1 or 2 above at max - it's not a hard and fast rule that you either go 45 or go home, as some very good players have proved.

Corps are a bit different, but they should almost always try for the max size in their agenda points bracket, so 49 for 20-21 points, though recently there has been a card introduced that promotes 50+ card decks, leading to 54 cards being popular as well - 3 copies of the card, an agenda and a bonus card.
>>
>>46880008
>>46880071
>>46880268
Cool! Thanks for the advice, anons.

Runners seem straightforward enough. And all I'll need to remember with the Corp is to maximize my ratio of cards:agenda points.
>>
>>46880413
>to maximize my ratio of cards:agenda points
Yes... and no.

The fewer agendas you have, the more each one matters - scored or stolen - and the more difficulty you'll have finding one when you want one. Bigger agendas make you safer, but are harder to use, and losing one to a random access hurts a lot.
>>

Took a similar list to a Regional yesterday, though I'm running all public agendas to score out of hand and different assets. Went 3-3, with 2 losses due to 8 points off of R&D. Absolutely loving the asset spam out of it.

Why Lakshmi?

Pic related was easily the MVP of the day. Only one opponent actually went to trash it whenever it came out. I love grabbing 6 credits a turn due to ignorant runners.
>>
Tips for Bioroids?
>>
>>46889984
The whole point of bioroids is based on the assumption that clicks are more valuable than credits. Taking away clicks, or making the runner spend them, means he has less time to develop his rig, gain credits, draw cards, remove tags, or run again.
So capitalize on that, make it so spending clicks is desirable over spending credits, and then punish him for it.

>>
>>46894338
It is the nichest of cards. This is how I see it.
Anarchs have Paige to reduce dead draws from your deck by eliminating multiplicity.
Capstone does the same. It swaps any multiples in your grip for new draws.
Criminals have Mr. Li to improve the draw by sending 1 card to the bottom and 1 to your grip.
But where these cost 0, 2, 3 credits, angel arena is X, essentially you pay X to look at the next X cards, if you don't want it, send it under, if you like it, draw it. How useful it is to spend X is hard to say, since I've never seen it in play before.

I can tell you. It's meant to be played with Docklands Crackdown and IT Department more than anything. But mostly for Docklands.
You see how Docklands is 2 clicks to add a counter? That means the Helium-3 deposit is worth 4 clicks with that card rezzed.
More recently, it helps Quicksands and Lakshmi Smartfabrics.
Still pretty underwhelming and niche, I know.
>>
>>46899866

I played H3 + Dockland in Gagarin, was fun, still didn't make me pierce the biggest mystery of all: why is that agenda in Weyland instead of being neutral?

>>46899781

Why Shipment from Kaguya?

Since no ICE benefit from it I'm guessing you're playing it for Install, Install, advance both cards... but given your very limited selection of ambushes, how often do you plan on that to happen?

Oh, and welcome to the game I guess.

You know what I like about Bioroid decks? Tags.
I know it sounds absurd, but think about it. Either the Runner spends extra credits to break through the Bioroids, or he spends clicks. Either way he will be too broke to remove the Ghost Branch tags, or you can SEA Source him next turn.

That's why I love Custom Biotics, even when nobody else thinks is cool to have 3 Scorched Earth, 3 Ghost Branchs, 3 Jacksons.
>>
>>46900106
Kaguya doesn't come up too often, but when it does it is worth it. Otherwise though I try to drain the Runner's resources by playing the shell game with my AggSec and lots of ICE. It usually occurs once per game, sometimes more. But once is usually enough to give me control of momentum and force the Runner to respond.

>>46900279
Originally I had more Scorched Earth cards as well as better tagging ability. I've just had poor luck with that strategy so I retooled the deck.

My card selection is limited to the Android: Netrunner box. I haven't gotten any of the subsequent releases yet. But maybe next paycheck I will.

It's really nice for scoring windows when you haven't got counters on MCC, or are getting flooded - put a public out naked and as long as you have a one or two other unrezzed assets it'll be fine.
Can also be used during HQ runs, so accesses can be much less useful.
And it's really nice when the agenda is New Construction, which you use to play out Smartfabrics and your other asset.

Film Critic works against it though

The deluxe boxes and the datapacks contain different sets of cards. So yeah, you'd need to buy:
>4 Deluxe boxes
Creation and Control, Honor and Profit, Order and Chaos, Data and Destiny
>5 datapack cycles, with 6 datapacks for each cycle.
Genesis cycle, Spin cycle, Lunar cycle, SanSan cycle, Mumbad cycle.
>Between 1 and 3 core boxes
Depending on how much you want to have the complete playset of each card.

I recommend starting with the deluxe boxes. They are awesome.
>>
>>46906802

Is there any way to buy the neutral cards in a pack? I only have the one set which locks me into two active decks at any time. I'd love to make more decks.
>>
>>46906165
Yes, yes it is OP, and not for only the reasosn you listed.

My main beef with archangel is that one of the only real strategies against FA is multi-access on R&D and this thing almost more than any other trap punishes multi-access.

I bought the second core set almost immediately. It not only allow me to have 4 decks at the same time. I also got full playset of all the cards that only included 2 cards in the box, and 2 cards for all the singles.

You could check ebay to see if somebody is selling the neutrals, but you're better off by buying a second core set or checking is somebody is selling his cardpool in your area.

Masanori + Dorm Computer doesn't work for the same reason Masanori + Sareen doesn't work: look at the time structure of a run: it *ends* at 5. Have we ever been told exactly what it was that Nasir found and accidentally released on Heinlein? I've heard some speculation that it was Apex, but I can't find a source. (sorry if this is a super old question, I'm just now getting around to reading those story inserts)

There hasn't been any definitive answer. I think FFG is being smart in doing that. A bit of a mystery is more interesting.

The main theory though is that Apex was somewhere within that code Nasir brought back.
Whether it was the whole of it, or just some hyper virus in there and the rest of the data is lot and devoured, or yet to be liberated again makes for interesting potential future events.

Definitely NRE, but Dinosaurus is not awful either. You can choose Brahman as your target after you use it.
It basically means you can install Brahman on London Library, use it to break a piece of ICE, and then put it back on top of your stack without spending a cent.
Oh boy, the meta is going to love this card.

I really like that, shame the rest of the cybernetics are meh - I've tried to go as cyborg as I can in a not very sensible deck: I've got a skulljack (surprisingly useful in this meta), net-ready eyes, a brain cage, a spinal modem, cyberfeeders and e3 implants (so the only think I'm missing would be ribs) but it just doesn't work out very well, which makes me sad.

Recurring credits are nice though

Currently running:

Fisk with the following combos
>Gingerbread+Panchatantra
>Maya+Dorm Computer
It performed poorly in tonight games. Definitely needs more draw, but it was only my first night with it.
Honestly, I think the deck would be better out of Ken.
High Stakes Job is awesome.

GRNDL Rush, with IT Department for fun.
>Power Shutdown

>3x Ireress

It's hilarious when I turn 5-6 bad publicity into a credit drain for 0 credits. It's like weaponizing bad publicity. Thank god nobody plays Yog anymore.

I used Brain cage, Titanium Ribs, and NRE for my Faust decks. I used Titanium Ribs to target I've had worse in my hand when I install both cybernetics. Plus, choosing what I lose to net damage is always nice. The Brain Cage was basically an untrashable Public Sympathy, playing Faust with 9 cards was pretty comfy. Not as comfy as my 15 cards grip Nasir deck, but nice.

I think the biggest problem I had was the set up time and cost, especially as the extra stuff is all anarch - it feels a bit like big rig shaper, but I'm not very good at that (anyone got any tips?).

Does feel pretty rad when you've got everything though, shame the corp's often half way to winning
>>
>>46931029
The big thing about playing big rig is that they need to optimize their tempo, while still keeping the pressure. It's why Hayley is so good at it, she plays 2 clicks for one, literally halving the time she needs to set up.
The rest of the Runners are not so lucky, they need either extra draw to sped it up, or tutors to avoid drawing.

If you need to click for draw, click for MO/Armitage, and still have to run every turn to keep a lock. You're losing tempo everywhere and inevitably will fall behind.

For this reason I don't feel comfortable with Chatterjee University. You have to install and click 3 times to get a discount of 3 credits. That's a lot of tempo loss. The good thing is that next turn you can click to add a token, click to install a 4 credits card free. And you need to do that a lot to come up on top. 2 clicks, 4credits+install. I haven't done the maths yet, but I wonder how close it is to Magnum Opus.

I played a thematic cybernetic deck, and I really enjoyed it, it's cool the small synergy between Brain Cage and Titanium Ribs - and I've Had Worse.

Clearly meant to be made in Anarch, even discounting Chrome Parlor (I think Faust also, was meant as an enabler, allowing you to get read of superfluous copies). Too bad about Skulljack in all probability having been nerfed into oblivion (at least you get to deprive the corp of one credit in case of Product Recall) - that or maybe there's an upcoming card that only target assets/upgrades below a certain trash cost I guess...

Sorry I don't have any tip, was just a pure jank build I made. You need that genetic draw though.

As a newbie, I wonder how did the asset spam meta came about. I don't follow the meta at all, but only after lurking for a bit did I realize I also made an asset spam deck using Argus, so I'm curious to how that could happen.
>>
>>46934938

Depends on you play it. Noise "Solitaire" is disliked because, as the name implies, the purpose is to interact as little as possible with the other player.

You can play some Noise virus-heavy decks that are just fine though.

>>46935082

Thing is, for an Asset-heavy meta, you needed the assets. Since you've build in Argus, just look at the assets Weyland had just before Order & Chaos was released.

>how did the asset spam meta came about
It's slowly developed, but it starts with NBN's ID Near Earth Hub, in lunar cycle, which typically became the "default" NBN ID because though NBN's ID abilities are weak NEH has extra influence.
NEH rewards you for making lots of servers.

Later in the cycle you get Jinteki's Industrial Genomics, possibly the best ID for the archetype, and Hostile Infrastructure, both of which makes trashing cards hard for the runner.
Industrial Genomics was accompanied by Turtlebacks (which the art totally messed up, but I digress), which gives you money for making new servers

Split over packs there's other support for the archetype - Gagarin gives Weyland an ID for it, Diversified Portfolio makes you money from lots of servers, Team Sponsorship brings trashed assets back - it gradually became a part of the meta, with 3 IDs and cards that support it.

But it's really taken off in Mumbad due to the shear number of good assets available, which has been a bigger portion of the card pool in this cycle.
The best of these is probably Museum of History, which gives the corp mad levels of recursion, making games a lot longer and tougher

That's one big bit, but it's not just corp cards that are the reason for spam; the other reason is that, by the start of the Mumbad cycle, ice was not in a good place - the meta was dominated by a style of deck that uses a ton of ice destruction (one of the reasons I'm still glad that Museum is a thing), so outside of a few decks, forting up with tons of ice wasn't all that viable.
Asset spam decks don't rely too much on ice, which made them very strong - they care very little about a large portion of the opponent's deck, and are difficult to deal with if allowed to pick up speed

>>46934938
There's a difference between "playing with viruses and virus support" and "Noise solitaire" - the latter never really intends to run, just mill by constantly installing and recurring viruses, which sucks for the corp

>>
>>46939112
Ahh, that's interesting that it came about due to a wide selection of assets from the most recent cycle instead of as a reaction to a common runner playstyle. What's the appropriate counter then, beyond getting ahead in credits over the corp to comfortably trash any assets that pop up?
>>
>>46939374
Hit centrals, Keyhole, Apocalypse.
>>
>>46939374
No 2 decks are the same, even if both deal with Asset Spam.
NEH uses FA tactics, which means you need to target their R&D to lock them out, which btw, is impossible as long as a Museum is rezzed.
Butchershop combines FA with tag'n'bag. So you need to be particulary wary. This got even better with 24/7 news cycle.
IG used a stick and stick strategy when it come to his. You had shocks and Shi-Kyu in archives, plus ambushes in the remotes. You could try to ignore both and just target R&D, but Ronin can get you that way.
Nobody really knows what's going on with Gagarin, I haven't seen an stablished archetype for it, although not for lack of trying.

It's a good time to be anarch - Whizzard rules the meta with a power glove, and scrubbers (and the program Paricia) have become a common slot these days (skulljack, in theory, could also help, decreasing the trash of everything you trash, but you have to hit 3 trashables per turn)
Imp is also a good choice - doesn't matter if IG makes museum have a trash cost of 12, it's all the same to Imp, and the inevitable purge next turn will be a nice tempo boost for you.

Currents, specifically Hactavist Meeting (stops them getting use out of unrezzed assets, though less good against IG, who is quite happy to trash their own cards) and the fantastic Employee Strike (more generally useful, can be devastating to certain IDs, of which IG is one) are in.
If you're going to use Strike, I'd recommend having enough money to trash some key assets before you drop it and go for a power turn - get them in the bin before a corp current or agenda can be scored. I've been caught out by not doing this, playing as soon as I got it, happy that all the employees would stay on strike while I gathered some cash

Digging centrals is a big help, though museum can be a double edged sword there, and against IG protection will be necessary.

Clot is a big help against NBN fast advance, and it helps if you can't trash Mumbad Construction Co right away - IG is unlikely to fast advance though

I played Angel Arena in a Noise deck once, before bullshitcakes. All of your examples listed take extra clicks to help you find shit. A massive 8 counter Angel Arena let's you dig 8 deep. More importantly, the UOFAQ is out
http://ancur.wikia.com/wiki/Salsette_Island_UFAQ

Now we know the rulings for Stock Exchange and Jeeves

Stock Exchange
>Neutral cards do not belong to a faction, so they are out-of-faction cards for every Corp.

Firstly
>All three of the clicks must be spent while Jeeves Model Bioroids is active in order for its ability to trigger. Rezzing Jeeves Model Bioroids just before spending the third click is not enough for its ability to trigger.

But what we all want to know:
>Advance three different cards: Yes.
>Install a piece of Ice, an Asset, and an Upgrade: Yes.
>Use a copy of Marked Accounts three times: Yes.
>Use 3 different copies of Marked Accounts: No.
>Purge virus counters: Yes.
>Use Melange Mining Corp.: Yes.
>Play Biotic Labor, then play Shipment from SanSan: Yes.
So any 3 clicks spent on operations, played normally, is good, no matter how many operations are played with said clicks
>Use Mumbad City Hall to search for and install Mumba Temple and Museum of History, then use it to search for and play Heritage Committee: Yes.
>Use Mumbad City Hall to search for and play Salem’s Hospitality, then play 2 Neural EMPs: No.

That 5 trash cost looks pretty harsh right about now

>Yes. The Runner is able to trash Mumbad Virtual Tour, so they must do so.

>If the Runner has only 2Credit but a full Ghost Runner installed, is the Runner forced to spend the credits from Ghost Runner to trash Mumbad Virtual Tour?
>Yes. The Runner is able to trash Mumbad Virtual Tour, so they must do so.

Could be a good method to force runners to waste their resources, unless they're filthy rich.
>>
>>46975599
Yeah, its pretty good. Its basically a credit snare. More restrictive, since the runner has to have the resources, but its stackable, free to activate, and combos with cost raising (Hostile Infrastructure). Ironically, I'm not sure how well it will work in Genomics. The cost to trash can easily get high enough that it won't fire.

>>46975015
The solution is simple, just run every turn. Unprotected assets will also hurt the combo, which is at least partly self balancing, since Jeeves probably should stand on its own.
>>
>>46976068
You could also probably combine it with any "pay to steal agenda" card and make it so the runner doesn't have enough credits to steal.

On a side note, how do you use upgrades? I'm having a hard time including them in my corp deck since they're usually easily trashable and most often just a one-off thing.
>>

That's pretty neat - I can think of a fair few turns where I would play 2 ops, but 3 would be a push. Subliminal is great for that

Yes.

I want to believe it would be something like Pheromones/Sneakdoor, Emergency Shutdown, Siphons/Vamp, and Nerve Agent. With enough Nerve Agent tokens you could use Fisk Investment Seminar to access the whole hand, plus these new cards.

What are the best reasons to run criminal as a faction?

You like, and feel comfortable, playing Criminal.

But the click spent as an additional cost to play Shipment from Sansan doesn't counts as a click for Jeeves, right?
>>
>>46981588
Why wouldn't? You spent both clicks to play the card.
>>
>>46981588
It does, that was specifically addressed

>Biotic Labor, then play Shipment from SanSan: Yes

The UFAQ doesn't say you have to play a third operation, so we can assume the 2nd click in a double counts

My inside sources have confirmed to me the only release we will see from Fear the Masses to Worlds will be the Champion Decks. Champion Decks will release at Gencon then there will be nothing till the first pack of the 6th cycle will release at Worlds.

Most of the Netrunner team is working on L5R. It sounds like L5R is in design hell and they are trying to have something to show at Gencon. All their top designers are spending most their time working on it so the other LCGs are on the back burner.

So enjoy the next 7 months of IG meta.

That is... depressingly reasonable - I've seen people muttering that about now is the time a new Deluxe would be announced - by all indications there isn't going to be one, at least not immediately, so the only new thing before the next cycle would be the World Champ decks (still cool, dat full bleed, etc, but not on the same level)

New cycles need big publicity, so a Worlds release wouldn't exactly be surprising, and wanting to lauch/give a big preview of L5R for Gencon does make sense.

IG meta, I don't know, Slums stacks, so it's certainly not as invulnerable as it was pre-Salsette (enjoy that anarch dominance though)

>anarch dominance
I honestly forget there are other runner factions some times.
>>
>>46982854
Usually when I read about inside sources, predictions, and shit like that, I call it bullshit and move on.

But that sounds so much like something FFG would do that I just can't. And that we will have 7 months to figure out how to get rid of IG meta.
So what do we do. How do we kill IG. Is Slums enough?
>>
>>46983323
Slums help but it is still an econ race. If anything this just rises the value of Dumblefork since you want to spend all your credits removing cards from the game.

>>46983323
L5R is not coming out till 2017 Gencon but I can see them doing a preview this year.

Well there are a few cool operations coming up - Latteral Growth is cool, especially with Stock Exchange in Core Weyland, and I really want to see if Subcontract will be worth it, and even if it is 3 IDs in Liberated Mind there's still space for some criminal tricks, and Weyland - who's ops are generally better than their assets - should still have their Alliance Operation (which the can play from the stack with Mumbad City Hall)
