Pleasure knowing most of you.

Likewise.

So, are we going to get a Jump Rain this time?

Only Purple Rain.

Golden Rain?

Glad to have been here for most of the run so far. Thank you all.

Well, that sounded ominous.

Is there any way to fuse companions into a single being that only takes one companion slot?

>>
>>46833855
Depending on whether you believe death and therefore the respawn mechanic works when consciousness of the individual ceases to be >>46833904 may or may not work for you, it could also traumatise your companions very badly when they respawn and create new life from their torture, melting flesh that beseeches you as to why.

Why woould you let it be born

And why won't it die.

Also if you're that much of lunatic you might as well do the same thing in Commoragh and become a Haemonculi or whatever they're called, because it's pretty much the same shit but more durable than monsterdom.

Or you could always go the FMA route if you truly want to win these year's Olympic edginess championship.

Well, more jumps. That's why I started coming here, I guess.

Specifically more SMT, more Dirge in general because I really hope he'll return someday, more Lost Valley of the Dinosaurs' sequel; I guess more Exalted i.e. any at all a nice bonus too.

Also more people being rational and civil to each other, but I know better than to ask for the unrealistic and impossible.

More scenarios, too. That would be nice.

Digital Devil Saga is all about eating demons and other spirits to gain their power. You might want to wait until part 2 is done, of course, but you can pencil it in for now and move on.

In Legend of Mana, how far does the purified Mana Tree's influence spread? If I plant it, will it bring mana to a planet, a solar system, an entire universe, what?

Well, see, the Mana games don't extend into space. Instead they take place in self-contained fantasy worlds. In fact, I don't think any of the games ever even really acknowledge outer space as a concept.
So this question prettymuch has no answer.

But the Mana Tree does have enough power to fill an earth-sized planet with mana, for sure. Additionally, excessive use of mana, such as from the Mana Fortress, can cause strain on the overall magical system and even cause damage to the tree, so while mana in that sphere is plentiful, it probably can't go too far beyond that.

Darn. I was planning on planting it in Civ to give my world magic. The fact that artifacts get retconned in would have been useful. But if it's limited in the area it affects then it's not worth it. I don't want my people some day going to space and discovering that magic was a local phenomenon. I know I could just teach my people magic, but I'd like there to be magical phenomena separate from humans. Spirits and monsters and naturally-occurring magical materials and all that jazz. I suppose I could use the Shinsoo seeding from Tower of God, but I don't think that would get me what I need. Maybe I should go back to my original plan of using Civ to make a sci-fi setting, instead, and using the ancient ruins of your people that follow you to other jumps to insert Ancient Progenitor Races into the history of other settings.

Why not get some other things to help you out? No one said the tree had to stay unmodified...

-Mana Nodes (Age of Ice)
-Node Mastery (Masters of Magic)
-Magebulbs (World of Warcraft)
-Bulb of Hope (Final Fantasy XIII-2)
-Rift Flower Seed (Gravity Rush)

Mana nodes for obvious reasons, but 'Node Mastery' lets you get double out of whatever sources of magic you're using. Then there's the fact that Magebulbs collect wayward and latent magic from the soil to be harvested, AND 'Rift Flower Seeds' basically have magic itself as the crop. Then there's all kinds of boosters you can grab like 'Bulb of Hope' which more or less makes your plants bigger and produce more things. If the Tree of Mana's 'crop' is magic, well... you get the idea.

Plenty of stuff to enhance it out there, anon. Just need to get creative. I'm sure if nothing else you can just feed it water from the Well of Eternity, WHAT COULD GO WRONG.

>>46834052

If I'm wrong and you aren't, I'd like to see a Diablo jump if you're up for it.

>>46834589
I think basically everything Dirge has done, along with genres like Dresden Files/Changeling and the Lord of Light jump are good examples of what Red's talking about.
>>
>>46834407
Hmmm. Well, you could take a couple of Writs of Expansion from Dwarf Fortress and seed the world with Kobolds, Dwarves and/or Elves.
If you can get a few dragons from ASoIaF, they seem to act as magic spreaders in their world, though getting a proper breeding population would be difficult.
And of course Endless Legend gives you Dust, and the ability to find it anywhere you go, which is basically the source of pretty much all of Auriga's "magic." Spreading it across an entire planet would be expensive, but quite doable.

When someone put it on the Drive without telling us about it. It'll be deleted soon enough.

>>46834571
I actually have considered all of those things. The problem is that they're still local producers of mana. I'd have to spread them throughout the cosmos in order to get complete arcanoforming of a universe. And I don't want such an obvious before and after sort of thing. The Mana Tree is great because it gets retconned in, it was always there producing mana. But if I go and add magic to the world, someday my people are going to figure that out, that magic just...happened, all of a sudden, and isn't really part of their world. If I just wanted a magical world, I'd be set, but I want a magical history, too. Thanks, anyways

>>46834621
I need to go farther than just a planet. And I also need it to go backwards in time. Maybe I should just build my own universe from the ground up, avoid this mess all together. Not sure how I'd get it into the Civ jump, though. Unless...could I make the universe a companion?

More stuff like Lord of Light, Sword and Sorcery, Wuxia-styled things, Dark Souls, Devil Survivor 1, Actraiser... ...fuck, I just get the warm feelies when there's a jump that's written in such a way that makes you feel like you're stepping into a grand adventure, where you can choose whether to help the world or shake it to its core.

>need to go farther than just a planet.
It can do that. Covers basically an entire galaxy in Endless Space. Expensive, but doable.

>And I also need it to go backwards in time.
Well. That's, uh, that's more difficult. I guess just use the ability to make sealed areas that retcon themselves in from the Mana Jump to make a bunch of Dust Anomalies before the Civ jump, scatter them over the planet, then spread the stuff out into space as far as you want and can afford and see what it makes.

>You talking about the Dust Tree?
That's one possible anomaly. There are a loooot more. Dust is responsible for most of the "magic" on Auriga, the setting for Endless Legend, basically the Fantasy Version of Endless Space.

>I thought that was a planetary thing, and the galaxy-wiide prevalence of Dust was because of the Endless' intergalactic empire
Not sure what you mean by it being a planetary thing, unless you mean in Endless Space in which case yes there was only one 'relevant' Anomaly per planet due to different game scope. As for it spreading due to the Endless, yes? That's why I said for you to spread it instead.

What I hate most about it is the hypocrisy of the government officials.
Anyone above a certain level of authority is automatically granted immunity.
And it's pretty clear that the system is just being used to keep the poor in their place and their numbers down.
It's basically legalized classism.
>>
>>46834052
The Belgariad/Mallorean jump.

Mostly because I want to annoy Polgara and Ce'Nedra.
>>
>>46834921
It's not hypocrisy because that's exactly what the purpose is. Anything about catharsis is just empty rhetoric. The entire purpose of the purge is to clear out undesirables.

Which is why if this becomes a Jump I'd be instituting my own purge. With blackjack. And hookers. And ultratech weaponry and armor. And only one rule - the sole targets are people who would normally be exempt from the purge, and their families.
>>
>>46835032
I personally like the idea of a jumper just going whole hog on the purge as is and fucking up the sustainable population, thereby dooming humanity to societal collapse and extinction, all while technically staying within the rules.

That sounds cool. What will people look like/what abilities will they have if I use the Bayo perk to make them angels? And could they take human form or no?
>>
>>46835433
Well, the Purge is only designed with humans in mind, so they'd probably react in the same way they would if they were suddenly attacked by Godzilla.

The only real difference being that everything shuts down during the Purge, so it would probably take them significantly longer to rally up some kind of defense or even realize what was happening.

>>46835462
Something like this, initially. Assuming you're starting off with a baseline human. More powerful beings would probably look like the more advanced castes of angels.

In canon they can't turn back. But since this isnt' the canon angelification process, for all I know you could create Angel Dante by tweaking the "genes".

http://bayonetta.wikia.com/wiki/Affinity

>>46835490
Oh, they are-it's just in the game they LOOK like the Emperor personally redesigned some Sisters and Space Marines to look more golden.

It's a GoW-style game so magic isn't shown much. One of the higher-ups teleports between planes of existence. Mostly they seem to break out magitech guns and things, though.

>>46835512
And Zachariah pretty much said he looked like those human-lion-eagle faced things in the bible, and yet somehow these foms never got whipped out even when things got desperate for them, but the glowey fart gas stuff has been pretty consistent.

The only way I can reconcile the dissonance is if, as energy beings, they can change form in their gas forms and looked like that before humanity was invented.
>>
>>46835433
This is what is known as an 'outside context problem'. Nobody's going to know what to do in that situation, it's so far outside their realm of experience. In fact, unless your angel is a giant flashing neon sign that reads "WHO'S PURGING NOW?" they're probably not even going to correlate it to the Purge. Not unless it starts happening multiple years in a row.

But they will probably totally shit themselves most likely.
>>
>>46835642
So what you're saying is, carry a sign?
>>
>>46835716
If you want them to know why this is happening, yes.
Make sure it's easily noticeable on a twelve story godbeast wrought from nightmares. Maybe invest in some reflectors like bikers use at night.

I think the reason that they never use those forms, on Earth at least, is that they're basically WMDs in that form. They can't react meaningfully with people other than destroying them and everything within a few hundred feet of them.

It wouldn't really help them with their little secret wars to start melting cities accidentally.

You know, to be on the safe side and not confuse your murderous rampage with a generic natural disaster you should BE the sign. As in, your angel form should be a gigantic sign spelling out the words YES I, THE JUMPER, AM ATTACKING YOU BECAUSE OF YOUR YEARLY TRADITION KNOWN AS THE PURGE, WHICH OFFENDS ME ON AN AESTHETIC AND/OR MORAL LEVEL. ALSO I AM SENTIENT AND INTEND YOU HARM RATHER THAN A MINDLESS FORCE OF NATURE.

Be like Armisael and right it all out in neon silly LCL string.

>>46835800
The problem is that doesn't explain why most angels get mowed down with hardly any fuss; even the burned-wings-on-the-ground thing stops happening around Season 8; to be fair it might have been after Metatron's nerfing of all Heaven.

Also at max power Michael clashing with Lucifer was said to wipe out half the planet so somewhow I don't see the rank and file of Zachariah's level, which even some DEMONS have overpowered, being anywhere near that level.

I imagine all the weird ass angel bodies as god in his avant-garde phase, before he settled down and started making critters that make sense.

>>46835885
All the angels got their wings burned off when Metatron pulled his Ultimate Dick Move.

Lucifer and Michael, along with Gabriel best angel and Rapheal were Archangels, not angels.
They're built differently.
They're the prototypes to the normal angel's production line model.
IIRC they don't even have Graces, because their power is innate and directly wired in.
>>
>>46835976
They were, yeah. Meant to say that-they're still not the big dogs like Joshuah, Metatron or anyone else who can call themselves an occupational peer of the archangels but they're higher than most. Probably slightly higher than Anna too. And it was the first, yeah.

>>
>>46836148
Yes. It's kind of hilarious.
>>
>>46836148
Oh yes, she did now I recall it. To be fair, Madokami is basically like if a Chaos God was made up of only positive and benevolent emotions and multiversal in scope.

But yeah, even assuming the Incubators don't do...something (rally every magical girl on the planet to fight her?) to protect their investment, they operate on an interplanetary scale so she didn't even doom humanity-her actions hardly matter in the grand scheme of things. For all we know some other planet evolves a cute girl moe enough to eventually break the cycle when her dorky best friend does the time loop energy surplus glitch.
>>
>>46835878

And then Homura fucks it all up again. Even if you fix that, there's no reason that another Meguca couldn't ruin things once more. The only lasting solution is one where there are no more Meguca. Now, maybe that doesn't have to involve genocide, but it is the safest solution. They live horrible existences, anyway, it's really a mercy to kill them all.

>it is the safest solution

Christ, you make me want to puke. I have nothing against murderboners but have the balls to admit you're bloodthirsty, bored and can't be bothered to think of a less destructive solution.

You could bring in magic from somwhere else. You could give the Incubators perpetual energy tech and make them end the system. You could FUCKING TALK TO MADOKA AND HOMURA to work out their lingering communication/attachment issues.

Of all the halfassed excuses to kill shit, this has to take the cake.

>there's no reason that another meguca couldn't ruin things again

There's no reason every nuclear weapon on Earth couldn't result in MAD, does that mean we have a moral obligation to kill every government on Earth? Are you really going to say Bancho is right?

>>
>>46836524
>killing the incubators

Pfhahaha, good luck. They're a hivemind. Killing one of the weasels is about as inconvenient for them as losing a toenail. Homucifer only ganked the entire race after snatching Madoka's powers.
>>
>>46836415
Actually, no, not really. Homura was an extraordinary case, what with the time loops, being a witch and yet not, and the Incubators making Madoka temporarily vulnerable. And even then, all she did was take the Madoka out of Madokami, the Law of Cycles is still running in the background, and Homura herself states that Madoka will regain her powers and memories one day. Other magical girls wouldn't even stand a chance.
>>
>>46836530
>You could bring in magic from somwhere else.
I don't see how that prevents the Meguca from being a threat to reality.

>You could give the Incubators perpetual energy tech and make them end the system.
Again, doesn't solve the problem of the Meguca. If you really believe that the Incubators do what they do because they need more energy, then you're deluded.

>You could FUCKING TALK TO MADOKA AND HOMURA to work out their lingering communication/attachment issues.
Once more, there are other Meguca that can ruin the world.

>There's no reason every nuclear weapon on Earth couldn't result in MAD, does that mean we have a moral obligation to kill every government on Earth?
No, but it does mean we have a moral obligation to get rid of our nuclear arsenals. I'm totally for nuclear disarmament. Granted, I recognize that would likely cause a lot of problems on its own, but that just means we need to fix them, too.

>>46836573
I'm not saying it will be easy. I plan to be at it for quite some time.

>>46836582
Homura is an extraordinary case, but not a special one. It could happen again. The Meguca are too dangerous to let exist.
>>
>>46836415
Really the problem came about because Homura couldn't keep her big mouth shut and told Kyubey
"SO YOU USED TO GET A LOT MORE ENERGY BUT THEN MADOKA FIXED IT SO MAGICAL GIRLS DON'T DIE ANYMORE"

And then Kyubey being Kyubey decided to see if he could fuck things up for everyone so he could get more energy because fuck magical girls and fuck your happy ending.
>>
>>46836650
>Not a special one
Okay, now that's just flat out wrong. As of now, it is literally impossible to replicate Homura. As far as we know, no magical girl can have the same power as another, so no time loops, no being able to be a witch and yet not, and certainly not the the Isolation field. Now you're just making excuses. Speaking of which, the Isolation field was only possible because Homura, who remembered the previous reality, told Kyuubey about Madoka. So no.
>>
>>46836738
>no magical girl can have the same power as another
I'm going to have to ask for some citation on this.
>>
>>46836650
>If you really believe that the Incubators do what they do because they need more energy, then you're deluded.

>>
>>46836650
It's going to take you longer than 10 years dipshit. They operate on multiple planets at the very least, and most likely on a universal scale given what they hope to achieve. This is of couse assuming they have no military capabilities.

>I don't see how-
>nuclear disarmament

There's a big fucking difference between nuclear disarmament and killing off all humanity to ever be peformed. Again: You could offer the Incubators a superior solution so they don't have to continue the harvests.

>waaah Meguca ruins everything

Congratulations, you killed everyone. The universe will eventually die of heat death. You retard.

Oh look, see >>46836738. Just admit you're only trying to justify ways to live out your power fantasy by picking on acceptable targets and give up any pretensions of morality.
>>
>>46836415
>Safest Solution
Yeah, no.
On the Magical Girl end, you have the Cure from Supernatural turned into a macine through Crimson Saint, Digitized Sorcery, or Amazo’s Backup Memory, creating Soul Gem Purifiers, and creating infrastructure to distribute them.
On the Incubator Side, you have Minecraft EE Tech, The Orgel of Origins, Possibly the Corespondence from what I've heard, and other infinite energy items you could trade them for Dropping Magical Girls as their way of reversing entropy.

How can I get a perpetual energy generator that can sate Galactus' hunger?
>>
>>46836777
Where did you get this idea that I was going to kill all humanity? I'm just killing the Meguca, a relatively small subset of humanity. And we've got another 10^15 years before the Heat Death happens, we've got time to figure out another solution. One that's real, unlike whatever the Incubators are doing. Seriously, there is no need to rush. This is a very young universe.
>>
>>46836775
I don't know what their motive is. But I know what it isn't, and that's "preventing the heat death of the universe". Even a most basic analysis of the series shows that the Grief Seeds don't have nearly enough energy in them for that. I don't know what they're harvesting them for, but it's not because they need to reverse entropy.
>>
>>46836826
>biosphere
>Meditation

MUCH better, good job.

>The Road to Awe

Are you trapped in the jump if you are naturally immortal and cannot accept death or is this just fluff?

Also you should make the age change power STRICTLY aesthetic in nature, since this is a non-canon-but-thematically-inspired power and thus shouldn't be too overwhelming. Some species out there become stronger with age.

>>46836863
Whatever, Hitler. Look, go be Bancho somewhere else.

>One that's real

Making a lot of assumptions, like there's one at all.

>>46836917
Oh yeah, just go ahead and ignore canon statements to fit your fanwanked power fantasy. Should've admitted it from the start. It's explicitly THE setting's aentropic source of energy, dumbass. You're just making things up to justify your murder spree at this point.

It's a goddamn anime, it doesn't have to make sense.
>>
>>46836953
The Road to Awe can be bypassed by the Detour to Awe. The Age change I can do.
>>
>>46836953
>It's explicitly THE setting's aentropic source of energy, dumbass.
Yeah, and that source is very small and weak. Nowhere near the "billions of supernovae" level each Seed would need to have for them to be useful in preventing the progression of entropy. And the only person telling us that harvesting them is for a good cause is the being that's been manipulating everyone to cause them suffering so he can harvest them. I don't think Kyuby is a trustworthy source. Oh, I know, I know, "Kyuby never lies, he just lets you draw false conclusions". But a reputation for telling the truth is exactly what a liar would cultivate.
>>
>>46836850
I don't believe that can done. Not without already being Abstract tier by the time you hit up Marvel.

Galactus doesn't just eat planets to fuel himself. He does it as a sort of balancing act for the cosmos, removing the stagnant to allow the new to come about. Plus, if I remember correctly, he specifically goes for planets with dormant/baby Celestials in them due to... reasons.
>>
>>46837100
The thing with the baby Celestials was just in the Earth X continuity. In mainstream 616 his criteria for choosing a planet are more vague.
>>
>>46837100
Well, I was thinking he could avoid to be a lot less of a prick if he didn't actually NEED to eat the planets to survive. He could still go around eating baby Celestials.

And there was at least one thing that could do that in a Marvel canon. The seed of a Ygdrasil, I think? I was wondering if there was anything else from another setting that could do it.
>>
>>46837100
>he specifically goes for planets with dormant/baby Celestials in them
If we were to, say, extract said dormant Celestials from the planet somehow to feed him... what do you suppose the probability of that is? Discounting the edgelords who'd want to eat the Celestials themselves.
>>
>>46837165
>calling someone an edgelord
>is literally Voldemort
>>
>>46837031
And if you bullshit that hard about a show's canonical facts to fit your powerwanking fantasy you might as well say Shinji was the true mastermind of Evangelion and Minnie Mouse is secretly Mickey's clone in drag. It's fucking magic, idiot. Magic doesn't have to make sense to your puny earth physics.

Also there's a Supernatural that can turn formally human beings back into pure humans with a lot of effort, but you clearly can't be assed to conjoin conjures/magic booster it into something on a global scale that can prevent your paranoid conspiracy theory from coming true.

>>46836991
Cheers. Welcome back, as you can see I'm currently busy explaining to this idiot why he's emulating Bancho.
>>
>>46837165
Zero. That was an alternate continuity. In canon, Galactus's hunger has nothing to do with the Celestials. Galactus eats planets for their life energy, not any Celestial eggs they might contain.

Hypocritical racist dumbass, yes. Edgy, no.
>>
>>46837278
I don't see how I'm "powerwanking" by applying basic observation and analysis to the setting. We see what one Grief Seed's worth of energy can do. It's not enough, even if you multiply it by the entire population of Meguca.

>>46837302
My evidence is that the high explosives that Homura uses are a more effective way of fighting Witches than magic blasts are. She can put out a level of firepower that would require any other Meguca to drain their Soul Gem dry. So unless magic is incredibly inefficient (which wouldn't make it very good for defeating entropy, either), it provides less energy than is contained within a reasonably-sized mass of chemical explosives.

Witches have more innate magical power, due to being insane, jailbroken, physics violating monsters.
It stands to reason that they'd be substantially tougher proportionately, when compared to the average Meguca's magic blasts.

Trying to measure the power output of a Witch by guesstimating the power of a Meguca is a fool's errand.

Star Maker: Turn junk into small, fragile stars
King of All Cosmos: You grow to a height of 20,000km and can fly through the vacuum of space.
Stupid Hat: Your head is now wider than your shoulders.
Add to the Cosmos: You can make objects fly up into orbit by concentrating on them.
Obsessive Collecting: You must sort everything you own and everything you collect into specific categories and them sort them by height.
Walk on the Bottom: You can survive underwater indefinately
Pusher: Your strength while pushing any mobile object is functionally unlimited. As long as it has wheels (or is a ball) you can move it.
Jumplook: You can leap 100 times your height up into the air and hang, motionless, looking around for up to 5 minutes.

Just 5cm?: You are now 5cm high.
Demanding Father: You keep getting asigned insane, pointless, or flat out crazy tasks. If you fail the task, you will be forced to repeat it after being mocked. You will be mocked anyway, no matter how well you perform. Sure, it doesn’t matter, but years of being mocked and scorned as a constant failure will no doubt weigh upon you.
The Royal Voice: You can speak in rainbow colored words and project your voice into any place you can see.

It's Adventure Time! Come on, grab your friends! We'll go to very different lands!

I'm an insane child wandering around the land of breakfast and making an ass out of myself on a consistent basis, just like I've always dreamed I'd be. In actual dreams, even.

This jump has a lot of characters in it that I pity more than respect or even like. Finn is a child being forced to more or less raise himself, having no parents to turn to and at best Jake for guidance. Princess Bubblegum who can't seem to escape being everyone's love interest and is a cackling mad scientist. Marceline who has a grab bag of issues related to every man in her life. The entire Lemongrab society of autists. And Ice King with everything he's ever touched. Basically, everyone here is awkward and sad.

And while I'm in no position to "save" them, I do feel that we can help each other out of these situations. That's been my guiding philosophy for actually dealing with problems since around jump 16 or so. No man is an island, after all. Which is a different point entirely, but still fits in a way.
>>
>>46838558
They're... considerably powerful. Depending on when you go at it, or how tactful you are, it can either be an easy jump or you can basically have a real bad time at what's going on.

He struggles to open chests regularly and takes damage from regular people with regular swords, but he also was strong enough to not be crushed between a titan's fingers and forcing the upper one away. I think someone calculated that, and it came up as making him a 500 tonner, but I can't give you a source. Some people say he draws power from his anger, explaining why his strength and durability are all over the damn place, but I don't think that's actually stated anywhere. His speed is his weakest aspect, either being close to a normal person or a lightning dodger, but I don't remember if the thing where he evades one of Zeus' bolts was promo material or actually in the games. Some people cry about it and say it wasn't real lightning because they're nerds and want Kratos to lose in Vs Battles, but eh.

I don't know how the fuck to figure out anything using those examples, I don't read Naruto that high.

Sure I can. Our notable jumpers of hugeness are two eldritch abominations, in naughty and nice flavors, and a stick in the mud. None of them are men, and I'm convinced none of them ever will be.

Shorty.

IG chick.

Normal humans can't stay coherent in the warp (thank fuck) after they die, so her getting eaten by daemons is just a different more painful flavor of true death.
>>
>>46840003
Tomb Spyder for life. Being a tincan for the entire duration was better than squishy.

So... like ASA, but less extreme.

>Normal humans can't stay coherent in the warp (thank fuck) after they die, so her getting eaten by daemons
Bad news, anon. You get grabbed by Daemons, they can keep you intact(ish) to play with while it amuses them.

Toby the tyranid because i wanted to have tyranids. actually nearly caused me to fail the chain at part 2.

Like I said, more painful flavor. They'll tire eventually.
>>
>>46840003
Shauphez, because I was breaking the Deadlight and didn't wanted an acceptable sacrifice. Everyone else I'd feel bad about letting them be consumed by Chaos, but...Dark Eldar. It's exactly what she deserved. It was going to happen sooner or later, anyway.
>>
>>46840003
Tobie because he's cute and I don't want to get mind raped by an Eldar.

He died. Now it's Cultist, who is my cutie button.
>>
>>46840291
"didn't wanted"? Christ, my typing is just full of dumb typos lately. Sorry. I think my intent was clear, though.
>>
>>46840003
Ko'el, because the humans would kill me on sight, the Eldar starts out trying to fuck with your head, the Dark Eldar is a Dark Eldar, the Tyranid is a Tyranid, I like having organs enough to avoid the Tomb Spider, and the same applies to my limbs.

>>46840103
That's why you're the nice flavor.
>>
>>46840224
Seems somewhat oddly balanced, but oh well. How accurate are the duplicate items? Are they just shells, or do they have the same properties as the originals? How long do they last? Are they different from the originals in any way? What kind of limitations does the copying have? Can unique items like Excalibur or Avalon be copied?
>>
>>46840319
You like having organs? But they're so gross and squishy, how do you stand it?
>>
>>46840342
They're like pet slugs that I can keep in my body, so that's pretty great. They squish and schlorpe, and they wiggle sometimes when I shake myself. It's like being my own personal terrarium.
>>
>>46833855
well since it's clear you're obviously pretty evil already get embraced by the Ozzy Osbourne looking motherfucker in Helsing and eat them then puke them back up as one, it comes with the bonus of allowing you to remix them however you want.
>>
>>46840003
I haven't been there yet.

Sometimes I don't think I'll ever go.
>>
>>46840404
Oh. I think you have better organs than I do, then. Mine just kind of sit there. If they ever do get up to do stuff, it's to bug me. My pancreas is a real jerk.
>>
>>46840404
Why wouldn't you want to replace them with something that's more durable?
>>
In Naruto, how big of a boost is the Sage Mode thing you get at the end of the jump for beating the big bad?
>>
>>46840332
All good questions. I think the answer is that common items can be copied exactly, living things get approximate copies, and powerful items get knock offs. As for how long they last... that pretty much depends on what pricepoint I need to fill.

Yeah, the balance is off a bit, but that's because I'm trying to stay mostly faithful to the Insane challenges required to get them. The timeframes are all the Challenge Timeframes and the numbers are the numbers you need to collect.
>>
>>46840452
They're all tied to their spots still. But they do move about in their wriggliness. They're all loosely connected bits of flesh.

>>46840462
Like pet scorpions instead of slugs? I can do that, actually. I just don't really have cause. I guess that's going in the ideas bin, though.
>>

This is when I pull a Rick and Mourty, find some nice poor people, equip them with power armor and ask if they would like to go purge at the rich peoples house.
I am not going to kill anyone myself but I do correct some social imbalances,.

I liked that Space Marine guy. He's a bro and would have kept me on the straight and narrow. Too bad I fucked it all up. This is why I don't take depower drawbacks. I'm an eternal failure. At the very least I could potentially fix my fuckups.

Pretty big. You get: flight, affinity with all standard chakra types, the ability to turn illusions into reality (at least on the small scale, large scale stuff is beyond you but you could do things like healing someone by making illusory copies of their missing organs and then turning them real), instinctive use of chakra, effortless access to senjutsu techniques, and the power to create and shape "Truth-Seeking Balls" into any form you desire. Said balls are made of a combination of every chakra type put together, meaning that in addition to being near-unbreakable to attacks not enhanced with senjutsu, they can also disintegrate matter at your command or be consumed as fuel to boost the power of your jutsu ridiculously. So all in all, you get ridiculously more powerful. At the time you get the boost there will only be five other people in the world as strong as you. Unfortunately, they all want to kill you, and the one person who is outright stronger than you also wants to kill you and is standing right in front of you. Have fun! In fairness, it's not like they wouldn't want to kill you if you didn't get that power, though.
>>
>>46840858
It's Hydra Dominatus, nerd.
>>
>>46840873
Thanks. Damn, I didn't know it was that big of a boost.

So how hard would it be to keep the plot on track that long if you take MC-KUN?
>>
>>46840003
I chose the Techpriest, because tech is awesome, even if it means I have to say a prayer every time I turn on my cellphone, and he was totally nice to me, even if he STOLE MY FUCKING CELLPHONE.

Just focus on keeping whichever MC you chose to stay with alive and don't get too OCP. Things should go as they did in the series through inertia and certain elements deliberately trying to cause a specific outcome to occur.

It could be pretty bad. Stay closer to Naruto than Sasuke, when the two of them are separate the drawback only disables the plot armor of the one you're not with, and Sasuke needs it more. He keeps making really terrible choices. You'll need to keep Naruto safe from a few threats, but if you train him right he should be able to deal with them on his own, he's not as plot armor-dependent as his friend is. And when they're together, play defense, the both of them heavily favor rushing in so having someone to heal or take hits for them would help a lot.
>>
>>46840995
Pretty easy sakura doesn't actually do that much. Just make sure you kill sasori to get the info on sasuke for that confrontation, act like you desperately want the emo to return and you are covered. I cannot think of any other major events involving her till right towards the end. honestly for an MC she does fuck all plot relevant.
>>
so...something I've been thinking of, is the sight from Dresden Files. How would a veteran(like, 100+ purely with fighting and killing jumps) Jumper look under it, and what would a soulgaze be like?
>>
>>46841073
Bah, if you can't replace your organs with something just as huggable but far more durable, you're just not trying hard enough.

Though personally I have literal squishy organs, whose only purpose is being nice to squeeze for hugs and such... In my defence, after redesigning everything, my innards didn't take up enough space to make me look anything else than rail-thin without that. And I still made sure it's far more durable than normal human stuff.
