If it's Tolkien, it depends on what breed of humans, elves and orcs. If it's plain orcs, a non-magical lineage of Men and young elves, everyone goes nothin personnel on the orcs at the very start of the fight and then the elves win easily.
If it's Uruk-Hai, Dunédain and High Elves the humans and elves most likely team up to prevent getting fucked by the orcs. If that's not allowed, the same thing as the previous example happens, except the Dunédain probably manage to put up a good fight.
If it's only high elves and the others are the normal kind of their species, the elves win easily. If it's only Uruk-Hai they probably kill most of the other guys but are eventually killed. If it's only Dunédain the orcs get killed first and the fight with the elves is almost even, so no way of telling. If it's 2 of the stronger groups and one of the weaker ones, the weakest gets killed first and then the elves win.

They are terribly lacking in endurace, however, and anything more than light work will exhaust them in mere moments, so they're only effective in situations where they can overwhelm and break their prey in a single burst of speed, such as an ambush. I think of them kind of like the humanoid equivalent of the cheetah, except taken to further extremes; fast and deadly, but useless in a drawn-out fight. An elf could jump over a house, sure, but never climb a mountain.
