On the other side of the camp, you see 3 men surrounding a table, apparently arguing about something. You notice outside one of the many huts, a small girl with brown hair in a white dress (Obviously from the neighboring Elven Village, judging by the stone age clothes the rest of the tribe wears) sleeping on the steps next to a baby. You can guess she was to watch the child yet got tired and fell asleep

You decide to raid the chicken pen. Your scouts wait for the elder to turn around, and then pounce on her. She can hardly let out a cry for help before your slimes hit against her back and fuse, forcing her to call backwards and hit the ground. The 4 slimes start to spread and envelop her entire body, and then the digestive enzymes in their body activate, eating at her corpse with an acidic sizzle, the process is obscured by the bubbles appearing in your slimes. Once her entire body is gone, the slimes split apart, into 10 Small Green Slimes...
Then, you devour almost all of the chickens, splitting into many more slimes. Unfortunately, the clucking and frenzied roots of the chickens prompts the response from outside

Your slimes contain the primal memories of the chickens they ate, and how they were fed simply to be eaten one day. Your slimes try something similar, with snails, and for the most part, it works. Sentries positioned at the front of the cave spot a group of 4 humans approaching, wielding spears and torches, one of them being the small girl from earlier, who is unarmed and carrying the baby. All of the slimes hide in corners of the cave, as the humans enter, and can overhear two of their men's conversation.
"A few of them were green, though some were orange. Tney just sat there... Looking at me..."
"Relax. If they were about the size of a watermelon, then they hardly sound that dangerous."
The girl starts collecting rocks and slipping them into the baby's blanket, a bit far from the men. The other one is an older woman, who appears to be scribing down a map on a piece of cowhide of the surrounding area

Your slimes begin to leave the corners and circle in on the explorers. The girl gasps, and the men draw spears, while the woman draws a knife.
"Get out of here, Serra!" The man shouts. The girl runs out of the cave, while the remaining three humans stand back to back. You yourself welcome them, and they KNOW you're the leader since you're the biggest slime there.
"Wrghl.... Cghrm..." You say, raising your arms in a hearty manner. Unfortunately, the humans take this as a threat. One of them, the one you recognise as the man from before, thrusts a spear straight at your chest, piercing your core. You shriek in pain as your one organ keeping your entire body together has been broken. Your mass loses stability, and falls straight down. You slowly lose consciousness as your body slowly spreads apart.
Your subjects shriek in shock, and then rage at the death of their leader, and they all advance towards the humans, who begin to fight back.
In a few seconds, you will be no more. Your vision slowly fades to black as the opening of your eyes that was so fascinating the first time it happened, is now slowly reversing.
Yet you notice your advisor and three other orange slimes approach you. You can hardly hear what they are saying, but you know your Advisor us telling one of his men to transplant his core into you. With only seconds left to live, this will be nothing short of a miracle from a higher power.
Yet you notice the humans being overwhelmed by vengeful slimes, almost completely enveloped by their slow spreading ooze. The woman even has her entire arm stuck in an orange slime. Yes, they killed you, but it was out of fear, concern for themselves, a normal part of the humans nature.
With just one word your subjects might spare them if you wish, but doing so would take the rest of your fragile life, successfully killing you. Your broken core would generate offspring, but would they be the great leader you are?

Just as the humans are about to be completely absorbed, you raise your hand, and let out a pained, long wail. Every slime in the room looks at you, and some detach from the humans. The woman with the arm in the orange slime tries to pull free, and even shouts "Help!", yet it does not faze the orange slime. One of the men draws a sword and cuts her arm off. She screams in pain, as the man grabs her by the shoulder and runs out, with the other human man fleeing as well. Every slime in the room lowers their heads mournfully;
You have died. Your advisor has scooped your 3 goop covered fragments into stone bowls, that shall grow and become your heirs. Then, the broken core that hadnt split into fragments is taken to a pit of the cave, where after each slime kisses it, it is tossd in, and your advisor deems it tradition that the cores of all dead slimes be thrown in.
Your people are scared. Their leader has died to protect a race not his own from a race that was, and they are now leaderless. Yes, in a few years, obe of your children shall take charge, but the present is uncertain. The humans, still frightened of you, may still prepare for war.
