The events in the game when put into a timeline of other events they reference would be occurring around M42, and completely ignore all the DOOMSDAY devices that should have gone off by then.
It is also noting that the date would put it beyond the official timeline cut off making the game non-cannon for that reason alone.
On top of that he claims to hold the position in the Ultramarines currently held by Cato Sicarius meaning either Cato died, or papa smurf died and cato was promoted.

So, Soulstorm. Is there any real strategy to the game? I feel like every game turns into one large tar pit some where on the map and the only way to win is throw more dudes at it. The units move around too quickly for me to tell what is what. Nothing dies. Seriously, nothing will fucking die. Both sides just keep piling in units and reinforcing existing ones.
