What is in your opinion the most perfect casual board game ever?
Talking about the games you can pull out when with family or friends and that only takes minutes to learn and are massively replayable.

Carcassonne
7 Wonders

7 Wonders is great fun but you really need 5 or more people. 4 and less just feels like too few players. I also wish there were more wonders that didn't use the gimmicky expansion assets.

Love it. Absolutely love it. Perfect game for introducing friends/family/mole people/etc. to board games and still enjoy it with more experienced players.

TsuroThe original, not the horrible "Tsuro of the Seas" lolrandumb edition
It's pretty, it's very straightforward, there is some skill involved although not terribly much, and it supports 8 players so it's a great icebreaker.

Do you Catan? It is pretty much the go-to game for introducing casuals to something that isn't Monotony or Risk.
When I introduced my family to Dominion and Infinite City they loved them.

Catan is pure dice luck. All strategy can do is hurt you. Experienced players are on par and then it's just a tediously long way to roll a d6 for luck.

>Do you Catan?
Games are a little long and a little luck based for my tastes. Everything that Catan does wrong, Ticket to Ride does right..
I heard that Twilight Imperium is a pretty easy to pick up OP

Dune is faster.
