.. I honestly like Goblins.
I like the magical treasures, I love the 3.5 setting, I love the GoT-feel with the main characters since they can all die at any notice, I love the dungeon crawls.. Most things really.
The only downside is the long waiting between pages and the whole "saaaaaaad" aspect. And the fact that sometimes you have to look at the page from different angles to see what is actually happening.
But other than that: Awesome.
Also: K'seliss, best character.

Probably not. Knowing how Thunt designs magic items, it's probably something more niche like "This weapon gains a +1 enhancement bonus every 1d6 rounds of combat, which fades away as soon as battle ends, and that stack up to a maximum modifier of +10." I say +10 just because it's got 10 'gem' slots along the side. The 1d6 rounds feels suitably random enough to be either completely useless or incredibly powerful depending on RNG, which matches the nature of the magic items Complains has gotten so far in the comic.

I like Goblins as well. It's got this weird, slightly off feeling that all memorable campaigns have. Like, the GM is too fond of puzzle encounters and ludicrously deadly enemies, the players metagame a little too much, and the plot is a meandering mess that's really just an excuse to tie together some set-pieces the GM cooked up to impress/torture his players. Take away the SAAAAAAAD and the flesh-melting gore and I'd have no problems with it.
