Wouldn't know. My last character that acheived immortality did so by simultaneously fusing with purified and stabilized essence from each of the elemental planes simultaneously becoming an Elemental Lord of each.
Before that was a Binder/Ur-Priest/Anima Mage combo who (ironically) acheived godhood by stealing it from other gods.
