No. We have seen him displeased, or concerned. But always muted emotions, dulled by age and perspective.
We have never seen a Sorin so angry that he yelled, cursed, lashed out in rage.
Sorin in such a state would be an absolute terror to behold. Dude was an Oldwalker for longer than most dragons have been alive, and while the mending may have nerfed him the lore has shown again and again that former oldwalkers are still head and shoulders in power and skill than the new breed of planeswalkers. Bobby Nix, for example, was an even match for 3 neowalkers in rapid succession, and was only forced to retreat when four of them properly rallied and teamed up against him in a coordinated series of attacks.
Nahiri was an oldswalker too, and the more we learn about Lithomacny the scarier it is. So she might be able to go toe to toe with Sorin in a fight, especially if she has been preparing for such a showdown for a long time. But a furious Sorin Markov is the sort of thing that the Gatewatch would almost certainly get party wiped by.

My guess is that Nahiri will win the fight simply as a result of having a truly absurd amount of mana at her beck and call due to the cryptoliths right now. On neutral ground Sorin might be stronger, but Lithomancy is the ultimate magic for preptime and preparing a plane of existence to stack the deck in your favor.
Remember that, during Takir, when Sorin found Ugin dead his first reaction was "Oh shit, Nahiri must have killed him". So even on a good day, Sorin considers Nahiri to be a pretty dangerous foe.
I suspect that Sorin will escape alive, but will have his pride and body wounded pretty badly in the process. Its the best way to have him deign to work alongside the Gatewatch instead of ignoring them.

And she has a very unique powerset and plot important backstory.

I choose to interpret Sorin as somebody who is sort of stumbling along under so much ennui that he can barely work up a single fuck to give about the important battles that are going on. Nahiri knows that because she is much the same, and thus understands how far she needs to go to actually hurt Sorin. She believes that he left her world to the wolves, so now she's fucking up Innistrad because she knows it's one of the few things that Sorin really, truly cares to preserve.
Avacyn is basically the heart of Innistrad, so even if Sorin doesn't feel pain in a fatherly sense, it's a bit like if he had spent so much time and effort creating one of the most beautiful and pure paintings in the multiverse, and then Nahiri is coming along and setting fire to it out of spite. Actually, not so much, it's like Nahiri coming along and forcing Sorin to set fire to his own creation.

I'm honestly hoping all of that was a set up in some way, and Ugin shows up to put all of the children planeswalkers in their place for killing two titans when he specifically told people NOT to kill them, lest they upset the balance of EVERYTHING. As part of the whole set up, I hope Kozilek and Ulamog show up again and high five eachother before they wear the super friends like little finger warmers.

Despite being in pain, he was impressed by Gideon and offered to have a rematch on some other plane of Gideon's choice and terms at a later date. Gideon's refusal cause him to comment that the current batch of planeswalkers are both weaker and less civilized then the pre-mending walkers like himself. Nixilis attempted to kill Gideon but was stunned and delighted at Gideon's invulnerability. As they dueled, Nixilis mocked Gideon by killing several nearby fleeing Zendikari and played mind games inquiring if Gideon's need to protect Jace was his own feelings or caused by the telepath's mental manipulation. Both of them proved very evenly matched as they wrestled but the demon planeswalker's superior experience won out as he locked Gideon on the ground. Nixilis then proved that invulnerability was nothing as he proceeded to drown Gideon in the muddy waters at their feet.

they make sets years out so they where probably all patting themselves on the back for how cool it would be to see eldrazi on other places outside of ZEN. Which is baffling since Zen2 was originally a 3 set block which means they ruined two blocks, but hey at least SOI has a lot of fun cards.
I was banking on the moon being an entombed eldrazi the first time we went to INN though (what with Zen1 having wrapped recently and the Eldrazi fucking off with talks of more and the moon being filled with weird and strange mana) so it's not too surprising to me anyway since I've sort of been expecting this sort of thing.
