As a complete casual I'll say that a Neb-B Escort with the Yavaris title can be amazing so long as you keep it from being focused by a cap ship.

Nothing tickles the nuts on an ISD like a double-tap from Keyan Farlander and friends.
>>
>>46513932
There really isn't unless you run Imp SD or MC80 Command Ship with expanded hangar bays.
And in general with Armada's rules, you're not supposed to have more than one-third of your points dedicated to fighters.
Most people I play with don't clamp down hard on the rules, but just be aware some might.
Imps can field the most fighters since they're cheap as shit, but they do work wonders against enemy squadrons with all the SWARM rerolls.
Rebels can have Adar Tallon, who resets the activation on any squadron you activate. Also, MC80s can take Independence title, which lets squadrons move up to distance 4, which is great to get your B-wings into position and combined with >>46514099, can be pretty deadly pretty fast.
So long as they don't get tied up in a swarm of TIEs.

Alright so in my current EotE/FaD game my character's love interest has just been shot and jettisoned on a life pod to the planet Sluis Van. The party is split, with the three heavy characters (me - Jedi Guardian, bro 1 - armored lizard, new guy - angry togruta) heading to rescue her while the tactician and bounty hunter are carrying out plans on another planet.

I don't want to keep the party split, but the waifu and another very important NPC have been caught up in this. The issue is we're delaying an attack on an Imperial station because of the three of us zipping across the galaxy to save them.

What do?

Does the station move? If not it will be there toorrow.

Holy shit. We just watch the newest Star Wars movie for the first time. I was two years old when the first movie came out, but I remember seeing it in the theater with my Mom and Grandma when I was maybe 5?
This movie brought back memories and feelings from 35 years ago. I am not an emotional guy, but watching it did something to me.

The movie itself was fantastic. So many similarities, the humor, set, references. I dont think they could have done a better job than this. Just incredible.

>I liked it because they mirrored A New Hope wherever they could
The new movie lost me completely somewhere around the part where they dropped the plot, the tone, EVERYTHING just to make sure the entire second half was a Death Star arc parallel. Between that and J.J.'s utter lack of finesse when it comes to directing in a sci-fi setting, I just couldn't get into it after a while.

But if it brought back good memories, that's a perfectly valid reason to enjoy it.

Fuck, yesssss. Like, they're interesting at least, but jesus christ guys, two fucking packs? I want some longevity in releases, sure, but I don't want things -that- slow.

>I feel they aren't putting a lot of creative energy into Armada.
I'm less worried about that, and more worried that FFG and their money-hungry (and stupid) overlords will try to drag out releases as much as possible.

The Wave 3 sets -are- creative... but only fucking two of them? God damn.

FFG vs D20 vs D6 how do you choose an SW RPG?
>>
>>46515662
By choosing D6.
>>
>>46515662

1. Disregard d20.
2. Answer the question, "Do I like narrative dice mechanics?"

If yes, FFG
If no, d6.
>>
>>46515662
D20 and Saga both aren't great. D6 is my personal system of choice, but FFG is lots of fun. I'd recommend D6 just because the mechanics are so streamlined, not to mention the breadth of material available for it.

This is my game at the moment, but to break it down (and some people have probably seen me posting in threads before)...

Nar Shaddaa gone to utter shit from an internal power struggle.

My PC lived there, hiding from the Empire. The other PCs (Selonian BH, Ssi'Ru warrior, Sluissi mechanic) were all under the employ of the brother Hutts who used to rule the moon.

They get asked to come back and begin a subtle gang war to shift the balance of power away from the human gang, the twi'lek + other xenos gang and the mysterious third party who seems to know more than anyone else.

So we meet when the Hutts seize my character's bar and force him into work, not knowing he's an ex-Jedi. The Bounty Hunter is working for them to escape a death sentence from a rival Hutt, and the Ssi'ru has severe amnesia. The Sluissi was an ex weapons designer for the CIS, turned humanitarian (sort of...)

Two sessions in and two big things happen.

One - a Trandoshan slaver and his crew attack the party, knocking my character out (they knew one another from back when) and running into a crowded street. Rather than play it safe, the Sluissi takes a shot with an explosive weapon and kills a whole bunch of innocent people.

Two - on the back of that, as we ran through the streets to evade the sector ranger blockade coming in on the area, we are attacked by a red lightsaber wielding woman. She butchers our speeder and has us crash through the plate between levels.

So rather than a subtle gang war with no implications on the Hutts, we have a full on planetary battle erupt and an Inquisitor hunting the party.

Get the fuck off nar shadda. Go deep underground, full innawoods. There's plenty of worlds out in the deep dark rim where y'all could land in hundreds of miles from civilization, build a log cabin near your freighter, fly into town on the next planet over for supplies and just disappear from the next 3-10 years

Fun.

My campaign is a re-imagining of the Star Wars saga, with two changes:

1. R2-D2 caught a turbolaser shot to the dome in The Phantom Menace, and it was a different droid (G8-R3, aka "Gator") that fixed the Queen's blockade runner and became the heroic astromech droid.

2. The PCs exist, and get in the way.

The PCs are a wookiee bounty hunter, his Ithorian first mate who bumbles his way into fixing things, and their "passenger," a man who claims to be a Jedi and follows the Jedi code (but actually isn't one - though he has recently touched the Force).

Some highlights:
>The "Jedi" finds Gator in the Tatooine desert first, and distracts him from his mission of finding Obi-Wan Kenobi. He claims to be a Jedi and to know where the Rebels are, and so off we go to Anchorhead.
>The ship is much slower than the Millennium Falcon, so the PCs arrive in the Alderaan system late. The Death Star has already left, but the Imperial Fleet is here to begin quarantining the area!
>The PCs flee into the debris field/Graveyard of Alderaan and hide inside an asteroid. Their sensors pick up strange signals from the asteroid, and so they find the remnants of an old Clone Wars-era bunker (made of molecularly-reinforced duracrete and stabilized with anti-concussion fields) inside, which has been repurposed as a Rebel base. PCs download encrypted Rebel data.
>The Empire, not knowing where the Rebels are, destroy Chandrila.
>The PCs are attacked in space by Bossk, who they manage to kill. They take, refurbish, repaint, and rename twice his freighter.
>PCs are commissioned into the Rebellion by Mon Mothma herself after delivering Gator.
>PCs destroy a giant wrecker droid on a junkyard planet. Pic related.
>PCs are now in the midst of an operation to raid THE most heavily fortified location on Coruscant (other than the Imperial Palace) to maybe get data on where the Death Star currently is. It's gonna be great.

First off, let's introduce the characters!

"Captain" Kanu - roguish Selonian Bounty Hunter and pilot of The Lost Cause, a heavily modified YT-2400 freighter he stole from a prison facility after breaking some key people out. Great at stealth, flying things and using ranged weapons to take down bounties. Sometimes he just cannot climb down things though. Sometimes far too nice.

Ssuri'wekk - a hulking red Ssi'ru warrior lizard, recently clad in PX-11 Battlement armor. Was in the aforementioned prison until the day he decided to walk out of his cell by bending the bars with his brute strength. Met Kanu and imprinted on him as a leader figure. Suffered from severe amnesia until recently. Loyal to a fault, though keen to place people's souls into his weapons and armor.

Jayrien - a holier than thou Chiss strategist in the vein of Thrawn, only on a much smaller scale in that he works for a Hutt and organizes the gang of Nikto and Klatooinians that work for said Hutt. Thinks he is better than everyone, and loves pitting his wits against anyone who he thinks is a challenge. Recently jousted verbally with an alluring Falleen female, which led to tsundere of extreme levels.

"Swine" (real name not given) - a Togruta missing a horn who harbours one hell of a mean streak. Force Sensitive, though only three people in the current campaign know this. Loves big guns and getting answers from people in ways that are not exactly legal. Appreciates pragmatism.

Carrus Avinn - my PC. A Corellian former Jedi Guardian who barely survived Order 66. He hung out with some other Jedi for a while, before an Inquisitor named Lanius hunted and killed them all, torturing Carrus in an attempt to turn him. When that didn't work, he left him alive to lead him to other Jedi, so instead he went and hid out on Nar Shaddaa, opening a bar and doing quite well out of it.

>>46517678

Former PCs:

Kira Lamat (deceased) - A Weequay mercenary pirate who was also one hell of a good cook. She traveled with the party to Cholganna before heading off to start her own crew. When helping the party save a shipment of slaves, she sacrificed herself by crashing her HWK-1000 into a Star Destroyer at lightspeed in order to let the transports get away.

Lavintas - the Falleen mentioned in Jay's paragraph. A double and sometimes triple agent for all sides since the Clone Wars, Lavintas is firmly against the oppression brought about by the Empire and has thrown her lot in with the Rebels. Crafty, cunning and not against using her sexuality to get what she wants, she has been working to free slaves the last little while (PC turned NPC).

Nesaib - a Sluissi weapons designer for the CIS turned "humanitarian" when he realized his creations had killed millions. He was trying to amend his ways, but ended up hotting a street full of civilians and getting the party on the wanted list in a big way. Eventually he managed to sneak off Nar Shaddaa, to the relief of the crew.

Tura Jin - Nautolan engineer with a lot of cybernetics. Not a bad kid, but grew up in a bad place. His most recent cybernetic seems to be having a negative effect on him, making him rather evil. He started a small workshop on Ord Mantell, partnering with a kindly old Junk Dealer (and father of Soontir Fel in this canon).

Next post starts the session summaries.
>>
>>46517724

First session on Nar Shaddaa:

The party (Kanu, Ssuri, Nesaib) are invited to a banquet at the palace of a pair of Hutts, brothers who they have saved from one thing and another.

Carrus is there, having been informed his bar is now owned by the Hutts. He is amicable enough, but already looking for a way to get out of this.

He recognizes Kanu as the winner of the Ord Mantell Classic (an underground swoop race) and they bond over things that go fast.

The Hutts put forward a business proposition, claiming that if the party do the job of starting a gang war to undermine the power bases on Nar Shaddaa they will be rewarded mightily. Carrus disputes being rewarded with something he already owns, but is already feeling the Force tying him up with the other PC (conveniently).

Kanu wants to clear a death mark on his head to another Hutt, Ssuri wants to find the ship he came to this part of the galaxy in and Nesaib wants money.

The three other crime lords that run the moon are all targets, and it's up to the party to decide what to do.

Carrus meets Elise, a Twi'lek "entertainer", who is actually a practicing doctor in bondage to the Hutts. They flirt a little, finding commonalities in certain things.

The next day sees the arrival of Dago, the Italian themed speeder pilot who would be their taxi when they needed it. About 30 minutes of hilarity ensued when Kanu's player pointed out Dago is a racial slur against Italians. The poor GM had no idea.

They go to investigate a merchant who has been trafficking high end arms to only one of the crime families, and are attacked by some thugs. Carrus is already regretting getting caught up in this, and wonders if he has enough cash on hand to book it off planet.

They manage to capture one of the very anti-xeno humans, and pump him for information before dropping him off at the local Chevin brothel, and take some photos of him in compromising positions for insurance that he won't tell anyone they were prying.
>>
>>46517789

Following his information, they head to a lower level and find an arms deal going down with some Trandoshan slavers, one of whom, a brute named Khrom, recognizes Carrus. He shoots him and drops him immediately, then takes off while the other Trannies fight the rest of the party.

This is where is starts to get interesting...

Nesaib follows Khrom on a chase through the surrounding tenement housing, before stopping on a balcony overlooking a crowded street. He takes aim, and the GM advises the shot will be incredibly risky, but the "humanitarian" Sluissi decides to pull the trigger.

Fourteen dead and countless maimed, wounded, crying and screaming civilians later and Kanu is picking Carrus up and telling him they need to run, fast. Carrus can sense a lot of death, and doesn't know what's happening, so decides running is a good idea.

GM-sama at that point is in fits. He never planned for anything like that so he just rolls with it.

Sector police start piling in, cordoning off the area. A Twi'lek that Kanu and Ssuri had met on Ord Mantell guides them into a cantina, which is a front for the Rebellion on Nar Shaddaa. He informs them that a slave shipment is due, and he wants to disrupt it to free them.

Carrus is still wondering what the fuck happened in the alley, and is getting increasingly mad he isn't somewhere not full of gunfire.

They leave the cantina, a local policeman stopping Nesaib as some witnesses reported seeing a "snake like creature" with a gun at the scene. They bluff their way through it and get the fuck out of there, heading to an infochant meeting the Hutts had scheduled.

Kanu notices a dark robed figure flitting around in the shadows at the end of the alley, and they decide to move the meeting to another location. They call Dago, who picks them up and tries to get them out of the area, but checkpoints have been set up by this time.
>>
>>46517853

A short round of questioning by said checkpoint authorities later has the party sprinting out of a small police station and leaping into Dago's speeder screaming at him to floor it.

They make it about 3 feet before the dark robed figure steps into their path, and in the glow of her ignited red lightsaber, Carrus notices she was one of his best friends back int he Jedi temple.

The saber is hurled into the speeder, which manages to crash spectacularly into the plate and through it, causing the party to dangle hundreds of meters in the air from destroyed plasteel and duracrete.

Dago, unconscious, falls from the speeder and the rest of the party decide they can't let him die, and voluntarily jump. This was also in reaction to Rienne (our Inquisitor friend) arriving.

Through an absolutely miraculous set of rolls and a conveniently placed church with a thick bed of flowers in the bottom (thank you Triumphs and Destiny Points spent to sway the GM via one of his face games) we survive the fall but are now in a darker part of the city.

They manage to sneak through the slum area and arrive just in time to meet the infochant, who gives them a repository of knowledge on the other gangs. Deciding it best to lay low for a while, Ssuri takes the unconscious Dago with Nesaib to find a new speeder, while Kanu and Carrus find a bar to discuss their next move.

Shortly afterward, a dark robed woman enters and sits down at a table, waiting for Carrus to talk to her. He obliges, and he and Rienne have a very curt and awkward conversation where she intimates that he has to go with her, or Kanu will die at his bar stool.

Motioning to Kanu that he'll be ok, Carrus accepts that fact an Inquisitor has finally caught up with him after a decade of hiding, and he walks out with her to ensure Kanu won't be murdered like his Jedi friends back in the days of yore.

A short walk through some alleys brings them to an Imperial shuttle, where a massive figure stands waiting...
>>
>>46517916

A second Inquisitor, this one much less amicable. He informs Carrus that he is now subject to Imperial law, and will either be executed or can offer his services to the Empire.

Carrus, being the cocky bastard he is when faced with two Inquisitors, one who he really doesn't want to fight or kill, decides to be glib.

Lucky for him, a blur of motion comes flying out of the night and crashes into Rienne, in the form of a young human woman armed with a staff. They being fighting, Carrus and the other Inquisitor surprised when the human girl goes toe to toe with a lightsaber.

Seizing the moment, Carrus grabs his own lightsaber, cunningly hidden as part of his flute, and begins duelling the larger Inquisitor.

The combat is short and brutal, the unknown human knocking Rienne (who is a Cathar btw, forgot to mention) out in short order, and Carrus scoring a hit on the Zabrak, who has been identified as one when his cloak fell back from his spiky head.

Playtime was over then, however, as the Zabrak held out his hands, lightning leaping from them to incapacitate both the ex-Jedi and the strange girl. Just as that happened, heroic Captain Kanu came flying in on a new speeder, rammed the Zabrak and grabbed both the unconscious humans before zooming off into the sky and away from any more lightning.

Just as a by the by... All of this has happened in a 24 hour period.

First day on Nar Shaddaa for most of the crew. A decade of living there for Carrus without incident until then...

Yeah, avoid trailers means not looking at the stills. As such, I didn't open them. Thanks for kind of answering my question, though!
>>
Hey /set/, I posted a homebrew question in the last thread and no one responded, so I wanted to try and post in the New thread and see if anyone has some suggestions.

Basically, me and my group are gonna be running a FaD post RotJ in the future and my GM has okayed me playing a homebrewed Miraluka, so me and him have been working on stating one out for FaD. Over the past few days we've worked out several components to the race. We basically just using the human racial stats as well as starting experience. We've also laid out advantages and disadvantages.
Advantages: Any Miraluka start with one rank in Force Sense.
Disadvantages: additional difficulty on checks involving droids or other being not connected to the Force.
Additional difficulty on checks involving computer or mechanical systems not designed to accommodate blind individuals.

My GM is fine with me running this race as we've initially, but this is our first time with the system and I wanted to see if anyone here who has run the system if there's anything you would suggest to add or remove from the race.

Yeah, I thought so too. It overused the nostalgia piano which people are getting wise to, and was overall more trailer than teaser.

It obviously didn't have the years long quiet hype train that force awakens had either.

Still I'll watch it, makes me think of an EotE or AoR campaign.

It was everything I'd thought it was going to be after they announced the plot and that people connected to Zero Dark Thirty would be involved. Instead of a movie about Kyle Katarn or rebel operators operating, it's a 90's antihero with great modern war movie tropes such as having a disinterested look while gazing out of the window of an armored vehicle, and horrified look in slow motion while there is an explosion very close by.

>>
>>46520077
Yeah, you really hit on it. I guess I'd so expected the movie to be about operators or Rogue SQUADRON that I'd canonized it in my mind. Even so, it looks like it has potential. You can tell they're leaving out critical plot elements, and some of the scenes were really hype(like that AT-AT beach scene). Plus, the characters are cool, and Jan is going to be a much more rounded charcter than Rey was.

Just wait and see. They're doing something different from both the movies and what fans expected, that's not a bad thing.

But deep down I just want muh easy going X-Wing fighter jockey flick with lots of beauty shots of all kinds of starships.
>>
>>46520726
They're not really doing anything different though. This is the third/fourth story about the stealing of the plans for the death star. It's boring and been done to death.

The AT-AT beach clip is cool yes, but it also shits all over the idea that before the rebels blew up the death star they weren't really considered a threat.
>>
>>46519445
That's clearly a subway station.
>>
>>46521063
You need to watch ANH again.

Everyone considered the Rebellion a threat. It was only BECAUSE the DS was finished that the Imperial officers in the briefing room thought the threat was over. Even then General Tagge still kept pushing that the Rebellion was a massive threat and even Motti claimed the Rebellion was a threat to the entire Imperial Navy.

Only the Emperor failed to ever consider them a threat

Just re-watched TFA due to blu-ray release. Anyone speculate on upcoming XWM releases?

What would you like from say a Finn crew card or Snap Wexley pilot card?
>>
Sup /swg/ I'm new to Xwing, and I made a list and am buying ships now.

But I realized now that I don't have enough cards included.

I need to get 2 Adaptability, 1 Gunner, 1 Darth Vader, 1 Tactician, and 1 Engine Upgrade.

I went on Ebay and it's $10 for one engine upgrade there, whereas the Falcon (which has 2 engine upgrades in it) is just $20.

Is there a cheaper place to buy single cards? Is there a swap system for /swg/?
>>
>>46521233
I can see Finn being a gunner.
>>
>>46521147

This. Pretty much every career military officer we see considered the Rebellion a threat, correctly realizing how fucking fast this little armed rebellion could get out of control. Palpatine and his cronies were still running off his high of finally wiping out the Jedi and destroying the Republic, and didn't give a shit.
>>
>>46521147
Fair enough, the impression I got from that scene in ANH was that Tarkin and Vader considered Motti and Tagge to be over reacting and the others present shared that opinion. I'm also under the impression that committing AT-ATs to something would require approval from a Moff or similarly high ranking individual.
>>
>>46521264
Engine Upgrades are gold dust. I was gifted a YT-1300 for play without those cards, it took another person buying me an additional freighter for the cards.

So if you're set on only playing Imperial ships you might have to just pay through the nose for the cards.

He probably transfered off world because he did not want to get involved with the nonsense on Lothal

Hopefully, it'll end with a post-Yavin scene in which the surviving pilot(s) talk about two new guys named Skywalker and Antilles.

I almost wish Rebels had gone as Full-McQuarrie with the stormies as other things, just to watch people squirm.
>>
>>46522864
Pretty sure they were both absolute no-names before the trench run.
>>
>>46521337
Nice get. I guess I'll eventually buy a Falcon and split it into components to sell then?
>>46522576
At tournaments, how accepting would they be of printouts of cards?

My friends only have on Engine Upgrade between us, and it's basically mounted to Bossk.
>>
>>46522878
Last one is pretty good.

I still prefer the new style.
>>
>>46522704

If they can marry a darker tone to a distinctive Star Wars style, this could be a really great spinoff. I personally would like to see the Empire as the actual threat it's played up to be.

Obviously something bad had to happen to this team. Otherwise a strung-out Senater wouldn't wind up fleeing for her life to make sure the plans they stole get to Obi-wan.

Brace yourselves though. Apparently Zack Snyder is in talks to direct one of these spinoffs.

>>46522794
These new movies completely revitalized Hamill and it's great.
>>
>>46522925
>Zack Snyder
What about just a few silent shorts with lovely visuals, force him to do what he's good at.
>>
>>46522887
Hence the words "Post-Yavin."
>>
I wonder, that grand admiral/white uniformed officer could be the supposedly "legendary" but unnamed officer that shows up in the end of the Aftermath book.
>>
>>46522925
>Brace yourselves though. Apparently Zack Snyder is in talks to direct one of these spinoffs.
No no no no no no no no no no no no no no no. This is the worst rumor I've seen today.
I do not want that comic book adapting music video director anywhere near Star Wars.
>>
>>46522911
In causal events, like your flgs local tourney, you should be fine. Ask the TO beforehand to be sure.

At premier level events like regionals, it won't fly.

If he's named Thrawn or anything close I'm going to be very put out.

I have good news. I am retarded and forgot the article I read discussing Snyder's future involvement was released on, of all days, April 1st.

Well fucking played, Screenrant.

Pictured: what a Snyder Star Wars movie would almost certainly have been like.
>>
>>46523183
Prawn. Kawn. Mawn. Gawn. It'll be something like that.
>>
>>46523168
What, you don't want a Star Wars movie that has the opening title crawl start with han zimmer's famous musical score "BBBBWWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMM........ BBBBBWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMM..... BBBBBWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMM" at 200 decibels?
>>
Man, they even got a Jan Dodanna lookalike if you look closely at 0:24

So I've read the chapter on Nar Shadaa. It certainly sounds like a barrel of laughs, but there is mention of an Ancient Sith academy built millennia ago. Since I'm running Force and Destiny, this seems the most apparent and available plot thread.

What do these temples tend to feature?
>>
>>46521423
So this is autism.
>>
>>46523340
Towers of Hanoi, terentateks, and spooky ghosts.
>>
>>46521423
First off quirky droids are a mainstay of Star Wars.

Second, we also got rid of kyp duron, so it kind of washes out in the long run.

Disney is slowly reintroducing cool shit like immobilizers too.

I have no excuse for the heliquisitors, but Star Wars has suffered from more retardation and we all know it.

>be Ken
>Be son of three eyed mutant
>be grandson of Palpatine
>be prince of all Jedi
>Never, ever, ever, ever mentioned again.
>>
>>46523445
There is a definite limit to how much quirk your droids can have before becoming really fucking dumb, as evidenced by the prequels.

This is actual McQuarrie concept art for RotJ.
>>
>>46523393
So monsters, force ghosts and puzzles?

Should the temple be stone or is how the prequels show the jedi temple on coruscant the way to go? All wide open and spacious, aside from the puzzles and the ghosts and the monsters.
>>
>>46523530
Rebels actually did a good job with their design of the Lothal Temple.

Then there's the Kyber Crystal Temple in TCW.
>>
>>46522794
>"Oh I'm sorry I have dialogue? I'm used to just staring intently."

Crap, now my coworkers know I am slacking off. No one doing this job can express laughter as loud as I just did, and still be productive.
>>
>>46523530
Designs will vary. The Korriban Academy from KOTOR, for instance, was brown, low-ceiling, gloomily lit, and very drab compared to the KOTOR 2 academy on Malachor. Rebels had a pyramid-shaped Sith temple. Galactic Battlegrounds used a generic spooky castle design for all Sith Temples.
>>
>>46523501
actually that thing still made it's debut in the Ewok spin-off movie.

Yes, there is, in fact, at least one Ewok movie.
>>
>>46519906
I like it, actually. Dem feels when the Death Star dish is installed...
>>
>>46523585
>>46523594
In my mind I'm currently picturing a stone pyramid, Aztec-ish in construction. Perhaps at the bottom of some urban trench, perhaps in the Darklands or Dead Town. It's got shanty towns built ontop of and around it, but the mighty stone doors won't move for any unless a Force Sensitive approaches it. Or they can solve the Towers of Hanoi.
>>
>>46523595
Two, the second of which starts off with a huge chunk of the characters from the first being brutally murdered by space orcs.
>>
>>46520726
Yeah, everyone seems to have had that impression, even when told dozens of times it has nothing to do with Rogue Squadron.
>>
>>46523500
See, TCW droids are literally "we need Down syndrome schooling" tier retarded. Chopper is nowhere near that bad. Even phantom menace droids weren't that bad.
>>
>>46523595
There are two. Caravan of Courage and Battle for Endor.
>>
>>46523667
Definitely watch Rebels to see the Sith Temple. How it opened and worked was very interesting.

Make sure to think of the code as a way to open the doors
>>
>>46519906
I'll watch it because it's got a high chance of no jedi being in it. That alone gives me a glimmer of hope.
>>
>>46523684

>Even phantom menace droids weren't that bad.

>Three Stooges pit droids
>>

My players just spent two sessions there as well. They killed a giant wrecker droid and stole an engine for a Z-95 Headhunter.

Sounds like a recipe for great fun, especially if you ramp up the horror.
>>
>>46523729

There probably won't be any "Jedi", but there's at least one dark-robed guy and and several mysterious old guys.

So don't hold your breath on both "no glowsticks" and "nobody waxes mystical about the Force".

On the other hand, a non-cartoon inquisitor or shadow guard would make for some very intimidating muscle for the antagonists

>>
>>46523735

>>
>>46524039
He's a big part of chasing the plans. We've known this since ANH, since we literally see vader ruining the day of a bunch of people, including a little collateral damage in the form of a whole planet.
>>
>>46524073

Really, Vader is a giant string of day-ruining. Whose day hasn't he ruined while he was Darth Vader?
>>
>>46523718
A glass/cyber pyramid and a might stone obelisk rotater thing? Sounds pretty neat.

>>46523784
I don't necessarily want to play up any horror, but rather introduce the players to the Force. And Nar Shadaa doesn't seem like the kind of place that cultivates the Force in any positive manner.
