I need pictures! Pictures of lizardmen!
Or Dragonborn, if you prefer.
In particular, any scaly dudes that look warlock-y.
General character art thread.
What the hell, chameleon guys, too!
Aztec lizard?
Reminds me of the warhammer ones but they aren't usually seen with flails.
This is definitely one of the warhammer ones. Some kinda elite guard dude.
I was never a Lizardmen player but they're cool.
I have nothing to contribute, but I was hoping someone here might have the picture I saw posted here aaages back.
It was a slightly cartoonish looking green lizardman, with a sword and what looked like... cutoff shorts, I think?

Well, not that one. That one has too many Egyptian religious symbols for that to be remotely true, but the classic Warhammer Fantasy Lizardman is totally Mesoamerican.
I've personally sort of been a fan of the Dragon's Dogma ones myself lately. They just have so much character about them, dangling from cave roofs, getting flustered when you cut off their tails, lazily dozing in the sun on rocks in the river until you get close and annoy them. (That really tickled me, actually. I was going somewhere else on the road, saw them in the river, and just sort of smiled)
One of my particular "Oh God this is a Fucking Nightmare" encounters was also with the striped variety, which jumped me near another river, and nearly killed me pretty badly. Just because I went the wrong way.
I'd went the wrong way in that area before, ran into an armored cyclops, killed it, also got into a fight with a top tier armored skeleton, did alright, then those guys.
That was brutal.
I think it was just how perfectly it represented the "Low cunning combined with atavistic brutality" that makes them appealing. It wasn't much of a trick, but it was really effective anyway.
Also why I also always appreciated Slithzeraki in Exile. Not always the smartest, but even in bad conditions, it almost doesn't matter. In a good situation for them you will be lucky not to die because they are fucking hardcore. Fucking hardcore warriors, and shockingly competent casters. Whereas the "Nerdy" Vahnati have surprisingly tough warriors for having waists the size of your wrist and big bulbous grey alien heads, and "Best Casters Ever". Which dovetails nicely with their relative intelligence and scheming, and just plain refusing to condescend to stupid brawls. Why fuck around fighting something they can't win when they can just ruin you without really directly fighting at all?

I always have Lizard Foll be a broadterm for the grouping of reptuliam races. Like Naked ape folk for humans, orks, elves, dwarves, and halflings.
Lizardfolk can range from Chamelion people to Gator people. All different in their own way
Kobolds might be all obsesive about dragons while some newt and lizard folk freak out about uncovering a triceritop fossil, and wish to revive it via necromancy
