Where do you fall on this chart? Should anything about it be changed?

Where do you fall on this chart?
Should anything about it be changed?
>>
>>46449324
If our base point is Writers/Authors, then how the fugg do we go to 13 year old gamers? The line of connection seems fucking nonsensical.
>>
>>46449324
Gonna admit I don't get the top of this. It seems like a bit of a odd point to start off at?
>>
>>46449668
>>46449822
I suppose we could just start over from scratch and just rank /tg/ related interests and hobbies instead.
Then we get a something like
>people who play OD&D -> people who play 2e -> people who play 3.PF -> ...4e -> ...5e -> people who play FATAL
etc.
Game Masters should be at the top of on of the branches if we want to start over.
>>
>>46449324
>erotic fanfic writers
Is the lowest I go, but I'm not sure if it really counts because I haven't written any actual fan-fiction yet. Just smutty fantasy stories with lots of vore and giantess content.

Runner up is "roleplaying gamers".

>Should anything about it be changed?
It needs a line or two for trading card game players.
Like:
Pro magic players>casual mtg players>casual mtg players who only play EDH>Yugioh players>competitive Yugioh players

OP here, I'm going to bed, but I'll post this for ya'll to add to as you see fit. Feel free to expand upon it any way possible.

>players
>masters
Anon, 80% of the people on /tg/ never played a board game or a tabletop game and just shitpost about elves or 40k or both.
>>
>>46450042
>spoiler
literally the most overdone and boring subset.
You should be ashamed of yourself.
>>
>>46450383
Looks good so far.

>>46452789
>giantess vore is overdone
I never said they were specifically together. I actually prefer same-size for vore and gentle for GTS.
>>
>>46455778
Hey, you should accidentally drop a link of some sort that can lead me to your stories.
>>
Like most of /tg/, somewhere between
>Sci-fi/Fantasy literature fans,
>Amateur sci-fi/fantasy writers
and
>role-playing gamers
>>
>>46450383
I've thought about it some more, I think for DMs it should be like:
Desciptive form DMs who are also writers and Active form DMs who are also actors>Forever DM who hates his job>First Time DM>That Guy Railroad DM>That Guy Magical Realm DM

You could add a Hierarchy for Wargaming:
Historical Wargamers>Fantasy and SciFi Wargamers>People who play GW specialist games>WHFB players>40kplayers>AoS Players

And TTRPG players:
GURPS Players>WOD Players>2e, 4e, and 5e players>DnD Retroclone Players>people who play 3.pf with a couple houserules>people who play 3.pf raw>people who play 3.pf with a LOT of houserules

>>46456135
This is a link to my only finished story: http://pastebin.com/7iujXiJH. It is neither fantasy, nor GTS, nor gentle in any way, and was inspired by a post on infinity chan's vore board, so consider yourself warned. I have another story (which I've posted here before) that's ALMOST done. It should make it onto my galleries tonight.

Also, if you're interested in my stories, you might want to check this out: http://pastebin.com/9VJFzALC.

I guess I'm down at Pokemon fans over the age of 6

Should we rank the different WH40k rpgs or lump them all together?
Same question for the different World of Darkness games, should they be lumped or separate?
>>46452769
Then they should learn their place.

>>
>>46458517
I just put it as this guy suggested. Also, this isn't exactly measuring objective superiority
>>46457224
I've never played any WoD games, so I wasn't sure how to rank them. That said, I never got the feeling that WoD was superior to any RPG except maybe RIFTS or FATAL
>>
>>46458517
>>46458613
Remember, it's "consider themselves superior to". It's not about what's really better, just how things are perceived. DnD of all flavors gets a lot of flak on /tg/, so it makes sense it would be lower than the other games.

I thought someone might like that
>>46458650
I see what you mean, but I decided to move WoD down and put Foreign RPGs in it's place.
>>
>>46449324
Wait, so is this saying that published authors are the most geeky, or that the furry Star Trek fanfic authors are the most geeky?
If the Star Trek furry fanfics are the pinacle of geek, shouldn't it be at the top of the chart?
>>
>>46460875
Replace "geeky" with "autistic".
Does it make sense now?
>>
>>46460875
According to this chart geekiness is a negative quality.
>>46460984
Sort of like this.
>>
I'm taking suggestions while I put in arrows like in the original image. I've already added pokemon tcg and I'm looking for more.

Here is the next draft, I think the arrows really help with the whole illusion of superiority.
I'm totally open to changing anything, you just got to back up your argument.
>>
>>46465764
We need to figure out universal top-tier and bottom-tier groups, like the original chart has.

Bottom tier is easy:
NiceDaemonette, VirtualOptim, Nazimod, and Jim Profit in some order.

Top tier is much harder. We could go with tripfags/namefags there too, but /tg/ doesn't have any really legendary ones (at least that are active recently).

Also the arrows should indicate "is less cancerous than".
>>
I also suggest differentiating between types of quests without naming names, but I totally filter quests so I'd need another source to help me organize them.
but as a general rule, Original Quests->Quests based on something->Anime Quests->Harem Quests

Perfect.
>>
>>46466210
Do you think that we should just put tripfags above virt and nazimod below? I haven't had enough positive experience with tripfags to rate them any higher than very low on the chart.
As for the highest ranks, Authors, Pro MtG are good for their tiers, but what would the highest tier of TTRPG be?
Should we also have a boardgame tier?
>>46467977
Thank you.
>>
>>46467673
You forgot /tg/ games as quests at the top
>>
>>46449324
Role-playing gamer. I don't really fit any of the other categories.

Hey dude I read this on Eka's Portal and couple weeks back.

It was pretty good! I like your style
>>
>>46469105
That would fall under original /tg/ RPGs. They're above quests/EVO/Civ games
>>
>>46449324
Probably showing its age, at this point.
