In a non-ERP D&D game I'm playing an escapee from a Drow harem. Due to his life experience, he sees sex as a means to an end, something functional rather than an expression of affection or intimacy, let alone something he'd do for his own pleasure. It's an interesting perspective to hold. It's not come up yet, but the other players think it's a cool idea, and it'll likely inform his approaches to various sorts of social situations.
In web only ERPs I've played maids who whored themselves out, either for money or for influence because their noble masters (generally the other PCs). We're all into it and it's fun. (Not all of the maids are female.)
I kinda want to play a classy callgirl assassin sometime. Maybe in a 17th-19th century game.

A Black Crusade campaign had us do this. We had a Slaaneshi Pirate Prince set up brothels on a smaller backwater planet. Whenever we went out he had two unarmored Alpha Legion marines walking with him and the humans on the planet had never seen Marines before so they thought we were just some massive dudes or Ogryns. Worked for a long time, slowly taking over each aspect of the more hedonistic criminal enterprises (drugs, sex rings, ect.) Until we managed to start messing with the small government. Eventually an inquisitior caught wind of what was happening when our smugglers started going to other planets in the subsector and we started accelerating our corruption of the planet, killing those were too prude to fall into our trap, having the Pirate Prince win elections and our Nightlord squeezing on rival gangs in extremely brutal fashion. Eventually the Inquisition really started to put it's thumb down but by this time we controlled most of the planet. Eventually a liberation fleet saw to our end, our little cutter getting blasted out the sky and we were invaded by the Guard with a contingent of Black Crusaders. We all ended up deader than a door nail and our fucking Pirate Prince left our asses to leave the system, getting cut to prices by two Gothic Class ships. Fun game. Our Nightlord got a little upset the more depraved my alpha legion friend and I got.

One campaign I was playing a drow bard of the most professional manwhore nature, providing sweet music by day and dutiful nookie by night to those with the right combination of money and power.
The other one that immediately came to mind was in a 3.x Warcraft campaign where the character was a female orc rogue who was originally a whore, but the cultural approach to prostitution was more a blend of oldest profession and professional "jobber" - you had to be able to put up a convincing struggle to get the client interested. Pick the right "fight", lose convincingly, get dragged off for private "punishment", get paid after. Her roguing career started when someone tried to stiff her the wrong way, and she found that making money other than on her back was easier and less degrading.
