When I make companions, I find art first and write based on the characters. It is much easier to find non-porn, non-fetish art of girls that are made in a similar artstyle to my other companions.
It is not as easy to find men (who aren't either lolsorandumb traps or generic stoneface "I exist only to fight" men).

A few of my favorite sort of powers:
Actually being able to BECOME your element if you have typical one-element powers (like how Iceman becomes made of ice). Is typically more useful with less solid elements such as air or water. Just being able to control an element isn't as exciting as being able to become it.
Density control, that is, that ability to change the mass but not the volume of your body. Allows you to give a really powerful punch, boost your defense, pin someone down and deal massive damage by standing on them, etc. If used to become lighter immediately after jumping, it would get you far more distance. It would need enough natural defense, though, that you can do ultra-heavy falls on people as an attack. If it needs to be more powerful of a power, just let it apply to objects you touch, for as long as you touch them, letting you easily pick up cars or be destructive with a paper hammer.
Kirby inhalation where your stomach is pretty much a black hole & you can suck things in. To be useful, you'd have to either be able to stretch your mouth open a lot or things being pulled in would have to be reduced in size as they head towards you. If this isn't tough enough, throw in some variant of copy power, either like Kirby or perhaps that one guy from One Piece.
Shapeshifting. It has a variety of sneaky uses, which many offense-only powers to not. For added potency, it might contain weaponized shapeshifting such as forming a hardened shell, swordarms, etc.
The ability to either make portals to the near future or to a pocket dimension. Either way, you can make portals to absorb enemy attacks & send them the other way.

I just have to consider myself to be one of my favorites, which I don't think is too difficult a stretch. When you think about it, you CYOA author that is yourself always includes the options you want most in their CYOAs. If someone else always did that, it would be wonderful. The only reason that the CYOA author that is yourself would have trouble keeping up in a favorites list is that you necessarily already know all the options. But looking at it purely in terms of what they produce, I'm going to like my own things a lot because they're exactly what I want.

I always like object creation and force construct creation. They'd have to be toned down from the versions commonly seen to be viable, but they're still my favorite powers.

Yeah that ate up about 1/3 of the time making this. Maybe 1/2 the time. Lots of hours scouring for images and I ended up merging a few images together to get something that works or modifying images to fit a theme, like the strip club sign.

If you don't mind some suggestions, I think you should make the realm flavor a "pick where YOUR kingdom is" option. Everything else exists if you travel abroad. Buying multiple makes your own realm a mashup, which is expensive mainly because it doesn't make much sense (also because it gets you perks anyway)
It doesn't make sense to gain the benefits of roman realm for instance just because it exists somewhere else in the world, when your own kingdom is in the nordic region.
But along with that cut the points down to 10, which is still pretty generous for building your character and buying general realm enhancements. Even 5 would be pretty decent, but in that case you would need to eliminate the option to spend points on Flavors entirely (pick any combination of flavors for your kingdom for free, but you only get the bonus from one of them)
