Only in Apocalypse World. There was the obvious mechanical play of the sex moves but it also changed the priorities of some of the players. The Chopper's priorities changed from just wanting to abuse the settlement to wanting to claim it outright and with that came a class change to Hardholder and ruling with an iron fist causing rebel uprisings.

It's been done as a background thing, I have my fair share of PCs who have wives and children (his children, not his wife's son.)
As for in-game? Yes, absolutely - although it's worth pointing out the foreplay and back-n-forth leading to sex is often far more interesting than the sex itself.

Yes. As a DM, I've learnt that players are universally thirsty bastards. Sex is always a big lure, especially if it's a doe-eyed anime maiden who eventually opens up to a PC.
But really, sex should be the culmination instead of just a 'thing that happens'.
Let's see, here's six quick times that it happened:
1. I had a character who was really big on whores. He was not happy if he heard about people abusing prostitutes.
2. Full blown Saya no Uta happened one time, leading to shoggoth lovins
3. Had a rockstar get shot into space without any instruments. Ended up making money as a stripper/prostitute/pornstar on an alien planet.
4. Knocked up the hottest dragonborn in a town of dragonborn after singlehandedly killing a mountain (and all the monsters in it, obviously). Became a family man and destroyed two small island nations with a horde of zombies (mostly by accident and indifference) to save said family when the BBEG started killing off our loved ones.
5. Seriously trying to find a polymorph spell for a griffon I'm dating before we both get frustrated and just decide to go for it anyway.
6. Ended up being buddies with a gold dragon because I got bored and started coming on to him. He wasn't into it but he still found it amusing as hell. Met his mate one time. She wasn't in the mood to get weird either, sadly.

Kill him and free other girls being dominated, turns out the succubus is a healer of some sort and has since built a hospital in a thieves town.
I really don't like how the DM pulled it off, he pulled some really bullcrap dc for the charm since I rolled a 23 with bonuses to resist the charm. 5e succubus have like a dc 16 for their charm. Character doesn't know what to do with this besides feel like he betrayed his dead lover. I think the DM wants the paladin(me) to fall.

Fairly often. My players have courted fae lords and ladies. They've seduced and bribed whores into ratting on their criminal bosses. They're pretended to be lovestruck/charmed just to get a perfect strike in at bad guys who think they've won.
The real question is the presentation of it all. Personally I always do the lead up and the immediate aftermath with blackness inbetween. Emotional drama tends to be highest just before and after sex. As for the act itself I just explain how it was, good, bad, nasty, etc. Nobody wants to sit and listen to anyone speak about every tiny detail for hours on end.

Funny enough, it actually has played a pretty big part in character development in one of the games I'm in. Granted that it's a erp game, but it's less of a game about sex and more of a game with a story that sometimes involves sex and doesn't fade to black.
Started the campaign as an innocent, virgin paladin, barely an adult. He was raised by a silver dragon in the middle of nowhere, so all he really knew about sex was that sometimes a wyvern and a drake really like each other and become life-mates. Enter three elven girls, some awkward moments involving bathing, some alcohol, and suddenly there are three naked elves stealing his virginity. He's been slowly changing from nervous virgin to confident(ish) adult since then. Couple stories from that campaign, but I'm on my phone and I dunno if anyone actually wants to hear them.

Had a memorable pair of NPCs in my game a while back: a suave, rougish exiled noble and his big taciturn "muh honor, muh loyalty" bodyguard/enforcer.
The noble was a recurring antagonist for the party -- not really a villain, more of a friendly rival who kept sticking his nose in and profiting off the crisis of the moment, but who could be helpful when it benefitted him. He ran a network of bars and brothels, and was a cocky womanizer who constantly made outrageous passes at our female party members.
So when the noble's bodyguard comes desperately begging for our help in rescuing his boss from kidnappers, we're suspicious of a trick. After a lot of grilling, the guy admits that the noble isn't actually "exiled", he was a runaway. Turns out the noble and the guard were secretly gay lovers who had run away together after being caught in bed together as youths. And now the noble's family had drug him back home to force him into a marriage.
We had fun saving the flustered noble from the horrors of holy matrimony, and then enjoyed using the resulting debt/blackmail (backed up by the noble's grateful man candy) to extract a variety of reluctant help from him on future adventures.

Twice now, fairly minor plot-enabling NPCs have become more important thanks to sex.
A sea-elf sailor in the pirate campaign I ran for my group was introduced purely as a minor plot device so that the group, who had not yet managed to fix up the wreck that would become their ship, could go out on the sea and fight one of the pirate bosses.
The half-elf sorceress decided to tap that after the party's first big victory, one thing led to another, and he became a major ally as the sorceress's husbando.
Another NPC, a gruff half-orc ranger lady I had simply to lead the party to the next dungeon, ended up becoming the party rogue's kind-of girlfriend because an offhand mention she was surprised when he complimented her led to him turning on the ol' dashing rogue routine.

It was pathfinder and he was a kobold of the gold. He's as lawful good as a kobold can be from his understanding, which is smash evil things protect friends. He used a pickaxe hammer and at one point mined his way to a necromancer to stop a ritual.

In the end, she fell in love with the wild magic sorcecer PC, who, by presenting himself as a nobleman, had tried to get close to her from the day the party met him in a dungeon.It was a dramatic relationship, as she was the first person he confessed his secret identity as a mercenary and his love, just after she had a mental breakdown following the disappearance of her close friends and the news of a siege on her capital city thousands of miles away
In my opinion, it was an unexpected yet great way to flesh out both characters, since they started to have an actual personality and actually cared for each other. What started out as a joke campaign, is turning out to be one of the best game I've ever played in, the dm is creating a very lived-in worldand is treating us with magical trinkets and small bonuses because we built well rounded PCs, not just violent/greedy statblocks who never interact with npcs

An L5R game I once ran had a major subplot concerning a secret love affair between two (male, both married) samurai, and one of those samurai being cuckolded by their lord's bodyguard (and is pregnant with the bodyguard's child, but insists it is her husband's).
This was all set in the backdrop of a winter-long court full of politics and intrigue, being held at the lord's castle. So when all this secret hanky panky came to light (because of course it did) it was politically a huge kerfuffle because it was spun as the lord not having vassals of virtue, of not knowing what his own daughter is up to - of having raised a daughter who in turn has an illegitimate child and breaks her wedding vows - which fucks up relationships with another clan because it was a political marriage in the first place... Yeah, a dick in the wrong place can ruin a whole lot of things and it led to a lot of dead samurai.

Actually the sorcerer can still go super slut it's just that bards have the rockstar/musician thing going on too and everyone knows chicks love musicians. They also are the most likely of the three to be found in a tavern, outside of cliche campaign beginnings.
