Back in Rogue Trader/1st Ed era it was mentioned that Squiggoth-breeders make whole lotta money/teef. So it was commonplace that Squiggoth-snatchers (can't remember the orky term) stole Squiggoths to breed them themselves.
In 4th Ed Orks Codex the properties of a quality teef was listed. So different kind of teef had different values, it seems.

Chaos Orks are rare because the other Orks will notice that there is just something "wrong" about the mutated Orks and they will fight the gits who aren't "Orky" enough. If you get just one of few Orks who fall to Chaos they are likely to get krumped.
On the other hand, if the Boss gets corrupted by a chaos weapon or something or a big enough group of Orks are corrupted they can beat up the others instead.
(There was also a bit mentioning that Orks have a grudging respect for Daemon-Boyz because those things are tough so they might even fight alongside them due to that respect.)

That's Stormboyz and it's not Khorne, they just get organized and march up and down the square and do drill exercises and other Un-Orky and rebellous stuff. They'll even wear matching uniforms!

As others mentioned, they're un-orky and therefore immediately culled, resulting in no chaos spread. Warbosses are outright immune to corruption because of their dedication and surprisingly stubborn will when it comes to things like that. Not to mention, he'd be culled too without any hesitation most likely. Or his entire waaghband would left him.
Most, and honestly only, orks that go chaos are freebooterz for reasons that I hope are obvious.

Yep. Honestly anyone with an interest in Orks should seek out the books from back then. The owner of GW at the time seemed to be a big Ork fan so as a pet project had a tome that literally contained just a wealth of background info called "Waaagh! Da Orks". Later they updated it with rules for new units and better production value called "'Ere we go" and a companion book "Freebootaz" that covered all the weird stuff.

Human and Grot teef are worthless because they're small, but there are plenty of references to Orks scavenging Tyranid teef because they're enormous. Makes sense that they'd do the same thing to horns, although they can't really loot daemon horns because they dissipate once "killed".

Orks used to be baseline BS3. Infact they shared almost an exact profile with humans (Imperial guardsman) except they'd have Toughness 4, and an Initiative of 2, while humans would be 3 in both.

Well I figured grots and snotlings fit the whole "oppressed masses" thing better and there's already precedent of grot communist uprising in Gorkamorka.
Keep in mind it was back at a time when the Brain Boyz theory of ork genesis still had a lot of currency, so "suddenly grots becoming smart enough to organise themselves into their own nation" thing could easily explained by a bunch of grots rediscovering the special mushroom that made them into brain boyz.

Ork teeth can't be counterfeited because they degrade overtime, hence no ork is superbly rich or superbly poor. And if they did degrade, not much would change then.
I think it's mostly just up to your narrative. It's rare, but fuck it. The Imperium itself is so vast, its population is uncountable. Orks outnumber the Imperium by an equal magnitude.
I had brought this up a few months ago actually. Friend was thinking of quitting and giving me his orks (Still hasn't done that decision) and if he did I'd just ally them with my KDK and make them Khornates. Red skin, extra horns, lotsa choppy.
