A - Nope. Though proposals have been made, nothing concrete has been created.

Again, the revival of interest on /tg/ started with me doing a bunch of editting work for me and my friends. You'll notice that I chose my favourites and even reworked things to include both versions for a couple of them.

Yeaaaaaah boi. Demo is ready. Been about a year in the making but my team can go live now. Killing skeletons, penguins, and getting Kobold hugs awaits. I don't want to copy paste from the text dumps on the forum, but with most of the engine in place we can focus on content and bug fixes from here on out. Note that the demo is relatively humble, and missing some of the planned stuff (like the updated Ser Knight model or the launcher), but only more will be added in time.

We're going down the princesses in order. Next up will be Human Princess, and then Insect Princess.

I'll field this one.
The simple answer is that we can't accept anything that wasn't made by gats, or one of our own artists. This even includes most of the Knights sadly, though FelineKnave, our lead writer, was one of the people to make that list, we still don't have rights nor permission to the art.
Now, we've included methods of getting third party princesses into our game, but the fact of the matter is that each generation will cost us something on the order of 2000 individual art assets just for emotes, enemies, locations, bosses, princesses, characters, party members, and other things.
6000 art assets JUST for the main 3 generations is a lot on our plate. If we get permission from the makers, then we'll see about adding more later, but there are no guarantees.

this has already been covered by >>46342368 but I'll expand on it. For starters there's a variety of legal issues attached to the knight's assets. Their designs alone are owned by whoever made them and we open ourselves up to serious legal bullshit if we use them without permission. I personally know at least one of the artists who made some of the knights so it's not an issue with the select few there, and I'm sure I could get permission from guys like Gauyo/Rolling Thunder and other Drawfags who did stuff for us. But that still leaves quite a few knights without their artists on hand to hand out permission for Fair Use.
So we have that shit out of the way lets confront the next issue. Nevermind the art what about the writing? If this game gets off the ground we're looking at what, like 20 kingdoms per gen? Around 20 princesses each with at least a cursory Visual Novel route associated with them for romancing and at least one prominent knight NPC for each of the various races (Humans, Amazons, Undead, Insects, Slimes, Hetros would have words with me if Goblins weren't hashed out etc.) so assuming we started bringing in knights from the chart at best they'd be relegated to background roles or battlesprites unless they can somehow get worked into the game story. Snooze seriously took up a lot of the slack on the dialogue writing (like 80% of it is there's, thanks for that by the way Snooze) but RL comes first so what if Snooze gets job or something that fucks over their free time? That leaves us either looking for another writer or one of us other chucklefucks writing dialogue, and we're not just talking princesses and their knights.
Assuming we have 20 princesses with around 5-10 NPCs for the party we have 30 prominent PCs who don't just need their own dialogue and quest lines they need to INTERACT.

What kind of customization goes on visually, in text,in stats and so on.

Once you hit enough experience there should be a yellow plus icon over your avatar. Hit that and it will take you through the level-up process. I should probably add in another way through the party menu.

It'll make more sense when we get into the kingdom management stuff when army battles become more important. But I'll give you the basics here.
Army Battles are fought over 3 phases (Dawn, Noon, Dusk), each of these turns gives every unit on the field 1 action to preform in that time. The side that inflicts the most damage and takes the least casualties wins.

Nessie's Medallion won the strawpoll, but it didn't include my personal favourite option; "Serpentine Transformation", which gives you a serpent lower half. I was trying to get people's opinions, but I've only heard from a few people that they liked it, not much else.
So, it really comes down to whether people like that transformation item or not. I forget what exactly the Nessie's Medallion was even supposed to do. Pretty sure it made you totally undetectable when submerged in water.

Similar to the drunken class choice at the start of the game, the "background" conversation after rescuing your first princess will determine flags for future conversations and potentially have minor effects re: Stats, Talents, and kingdom mode territories (your stated homeland will be easier to gain the peoples' trust, for example).
We've idly been considering moving the "actual" choice to earlier in the game down the road, allowing you to potentially lie to princesses to gain their favour when you tell them where you're from, but obviously this would fall apart pretty quickly if you told different lies to separate princesses that you've rescued, and they interact in a way that involves the background in conversation.

Yeah. Having done some rudimentary text adventure style stuff in that vein, the variables pile up quick. You'd have to build a scene directly for that event, so they can bitch you out, and then you'd have to deal with those ramifications. It gets messy. It's not impossible, and would add a lot, but the multiplicative workload makes it infeasible.

Off the top of my head, each princess would have a variable for where they've been told, and a flag for if they've had a questioning conversation about a lying background. Each conversation that could potentially involve it would run a shared "check variables of the first one". If they're the same, then "check second variables", if either one is 0 then they bring it up, setting the flag to 1 and resulting however the conversation will, based on who's asking and how much they care/how high their love stat is. Not too difficult besides the writing, and we've got some dedicated writers for stuff.
This is all for sure down-the-road stuff though, we've got to get kingdom management done first!
