I've been thinking about getting into MTGO just to be able to play whenever I want in my underwear.
It'd be about $200 USD to buy virtual cardboard copies of my paper deck.
Just play in Cockatrice

Why are you hung up on that deck? Get something different, there are so many cards that are cheaper online than in paper. I bought gimped Legacy Burn for 20 quid, can play naked (underwear is for shitters) and still win.

WHY using any money at all on VIRTUAL cardboard when there are free alternatives like Xmage ?
why anon ?

mtgo is alot smoother and nicer to use than xmage though

Is it a lot cheaper ?
>Absolutly, it is 100% free
Does it have rule enforcement ?
>It does
Does it support draft ?
>Indeed
For free ?
>yup
And if you want to play on MTGO, you have to buy something like half the price of a real deck, for virtual goods ?
>Yes.
You should certainly be dumb to get into MTGO from scratch now with the sole objective of playing constructed. That's another question if you want to draft like crazy and redeem the set tho.

I think this is the first time I've ever heard someone say something positive about mtgo's interface.

Not saying its perfect, just saying that it's a thousand miles ahead of xmage
