Since a straight forward set of Gue'vesa tables doesn't really exist, we'll be doing a bit of winging-it and jumping around on different creation tables. Reasonable suggestions welcome.

For now, I guess we'll start with some Tau tables.
To determine what phase the Sept we are attached to was founded, Roll a 1D10

3rd Sphere, makes sense.
Now...we...roll.... 1D10 for Primary cadre function, whynot.

Conquest. Yay!
I guess we should figure out what kinda of Gue'la we are. This will determine which group of tables we kitbash with.

1D100
1-70 Guardsman style (Guard tables)
71-81 Stormtroopers
82-92 Sororitas
93-99 Rogue Space Marines
00 Imp Knights

This is beyond stupid

A guevesa auxilary is bound to be stupid or boring - why not have a firecast cadre? Oh, I forgot, because Tau have binary variety.

There is posibility even of Space Marines working for Tau?

I guess we're not going to be THAT exotic. That's fine. Guard tables. Let's see... Uh...

Let's assume since it's 3rd sphere that these guys weren't born Tau and were adopted.

Size of the Auxiliary in the cadre
1D10

and Guard Recruitment tables (Pre-adoption)
1D100

Never understood that. Neither CSM nor Renegades and Heretics have Death to Traitors! despite arguably being worse in near every way.

Guess it's easier to hate something when it's not covered in spikes and backed up by horrific creatures and mutations. You know, I just figured everyone on the tabletop was just trying their hardest to kill and not be killed, but obviously they aren't in near every other situation because they can summon up some extra competency against a comparatively less heinous foe.

In a fictional setting, anything is possible. These options were added just to make rolling on the tables more interesting. There are Space Marines who have left the empire but not fallen to chaos. There are Sororitas orders that are not blindly faithful to the Imperium and do humanitarian shit.

We can talk about the table balance later.

Mostly Male, Mostly Gue'vesa.
Let's roll a Regiment Homeworld.

Even renegade/chaos space marines keep their absolute contempt for alien races and the people who enter willing slavery to them.

The fact that they'd have to give up their new freedoms to work under the tau makes the chance less than zero. You can and will see renegade marines working for and alongside other races (dark eldar/corsair business partners, ork mercenaries, tyranid mind slaves), but tau don't really bring anything to the table that the Imperium didn't already offer them, without playing second-fiddle to non-humans.

Whole point is they've stopped being the servants of man, man. They taste freedom, and never go back.
