Say Games Workshop is completely bought out by a anime company and they decide to make 40k into a anime that ends up becoming very popular.
The anime would have amazing fight scenes with some damn good gore, imagine Berserk if it took a line of 40kocaine.
However, the lore has either been rebooted or thrown at the window so it could focus more on the fight scenes. However, it has shit like a Ork Warboss dropping a Battle Wagon on someone Dio style.
Would you be okay with this? Furthermore would you watch?

That's silly. Almost no western companies have ever contracted an anime studio to produce an anime based on a western IP (the Animatrix is the only example I can think of). A few anime studios have licensed foreign IP that was popular in Japan (e.g. Deltora Quest, Highlander, Witchblade). This is because anime studios market to Japanese audiences, not gaijin.
Western companies generally hire western animators to produce a cartoon in 2D Flash or 3D CGI. The actual labor is outsourced to South Korea.
While the state of western animation is deplorable, anime are not better. While we may enjoy the arc format and navel gazing, there's usually tons of panty shots of underage girls, the horrible mistreatment of women as sex objects and destined housewives, and generally bad writing that makes protagonists bland, idiotic and invincible.

The lack of quality western animation is due to the networks refusing to carry anything but moronic brightly colored kiddy fare or toilet humor.
This deficit allows the otherwise mediocre anime genre to get a foothold. I cannot begin to explain my hatred of anime. I hate the fanservice, bad writing, convoluted plots, short length, and pretty much everything else.
Modern television just sucks. I have to rely on fucking fanfiction of the good shows of yesteryear for entertainment.
