Also, there's definitely a huge difference between thousands of shamans who have lived countless lives through reincarnation and were highly attuned to the relatively calm (albeit getting worse) Warp of their time, and the average psyker who gets mulched into the Golden Throne because it has a worse battery life than an iPhone
