All I care about is Imperial Recruiter, since a reprint WILL drop the price significantly, even at Mythic in a small print run. The Judge Promo cut the price in half. I'm just buying Painter pieces while they're low until then.

I think they said they're trying to avoid too many modern legal cards, though there should be a few.
I hope they reprint a lot of cool tribal stuff, which they'll have as limited archetypes.

The price of the originals will still stay pretty high, but the reprint will be more affordable. A lot of P3K cards are pricey just due to scarcity, but the reprints are much lower in cost, like Hua Tao, honored physician.

Tribal is kind of awkward in draft. Saw it in MM1, but never saw it preform well. Requires too much support to work which takes away from everything else

This set will be very different from Modern Masters.
Any fuckwit thinks they can go into Modern and win, most people see the words "Underground Sea" or "Volcanic Island" in a decklist and instantly give up ever playing that format.
This set will shrink a lot of prices tremendously (Sinkhole, Chain Lightning, Lotus Petal, even if they were in at rare, would lose 4/5 of their price tag). And stores don't even really care because they already made it all up with the explosion of RL card prices.

Most cards printed in MM didn't drop much in price, in fact most are more expensive now. As >>46143563 said, the reserved list cards have gone up, while force and wastelands only dropped a bit. If some of the stupidly priced, low rarity cards get printed then their value will plummet. Otherwise, nothing will change since the printing will not be big enough to greatly increase the pool of available cards. It's a limited run.

You only run on color moxen and the lotus so that you can get fast starts, then it's beneficial to turn off vault/key as an out and constrain their mana a lot. And god save them if they're playing seat of the synod
