My "hit things until it dies" character is always a Fighter, or a Warblade if allowed within the DM's group.
I inevitably dip into barbarian if the DM allows level dips, but I never main Barbarian. I make big clanky fighters that swing around a big fuckoff greatsword and tank hits in full plate.

Because my last character was a Paladin that fell through his player's 4AM addled mind, then committed suicide by arch-nemesis because both man and figment of imagination were half-crazed with grief over the outcome of a moment of OOC cravenness. Which could've been avoided if I had realized the DM gave me a powerful boon at the start of the fight. So I'm laying off the RPGs in general for a long time until I get over it.

My goal is I want to be a martial character named Chungo Hungus. I figured the most logical way to do that is to be a half-orc barbarian But is there a better class/race to do this with, depending on the system?
The key is the name. I cannot not be "Chungo Hungus."
