Last time we explored to the west and colonized a large new island, where we found vast gold deposits. Our economy developed as we integrated the new regions into our infrastructure. We also conquered Babaduad-Xinian, the thorn in our side.

To honor the memory of the [SUGGEST NAME HERE] War we've built monuments to the fallen in every settlement that was attacked - Plainsedge, Battlecreek, Lordlake, Bridgemark, Ranger Valley. We've established a great war catatomb in Cavehome,near the Grand Temple of Terra, where brave warriors are laid to rest. Captain Junus led six ships southwest of the new island - on the way the group was caught by an incredibly violent storm. One of the ships was lost at sea and three of the others went out of sight. The two remaining ships managed to escape the storm. After some short repairs, we reached a small island, where we found one of the other ships wrecked - with no survivors.

The Great War of the south. It was fought mostly in the south with Ranger valley and the Sultanate being secondary fronts. Even the Sultanate lays south to our more northern settlements. Maybe the Great War of whatever our continent is called.

We found the wrecks of two more ships - the crew on one of them had mostly survived. Gathering what we could, we disembarked on these strange new shores.
The climate is more temperate than Beaver Dam. We found a river estuary, near which we set up a basic camp. Of the original 200 crew, we are left with 100 - 50 sailors, 25 stormborn and 25 archers.

We've set up a wooden palisade around the camp. Fresh water is easily available, there's fish in the waters, game and fruits in the nearby forest. At least we won't be starving.We recovered the supplies from the other ships as well and laid those we could find to rest.

The area has a good amount of forests which can serve as a supply of timber. Going south, along the river, we pass by some hills - there we have an encounter with a new race
They were following us for a while, but we discovered them in hiding and called them out. A group of a dozen men emerge - they are fairly short, have dark hair and eyes and features that remind us of the kafi, though a shade lighter.
They don't seem to want to fight us, they could have picked a better opportunity. We try out a couple of languages with them - a few words in kafi seem to ring a bell, but overall we can't really understand them or vice versa. Body language and nonverbal communication is most of what's going on.

We visit the village of these people. They are more primitive than us, but they are skilled in agriculture and hunting. They are tribe of the inroki people, we understand. Their village has a population of 1000 and their people have many such villages to the west and to the south. After spending some time with them we are able to learn more of their language and are able to communicate properly.
They are people who praise the spirits of all living beings - plants and animals. They are familiar with the concepts of animal husbandry, river sailing and bronzeworking.
As for this continent, they say that to the east lie forests, after which the great blue waters. In those forests dwell dark beastmen, they claim.
To the west and across the river the forests give way to grasslands where most of their people's tribes live. They are generally friendly with each other, as they face threats from other,similar peoples in the west and south quite frequently.
We manage to procure a guide - where shall we go?

We head east, into the forest. The beastmen the locals were referring to are in fact darkskin savages! They have fortified villages in the forest. They are numerous and if it weren't for the regular beasts - wolves and bears mostly - who dwelled in the forest, they'd be raiding the inroki even more than they do now.
Thanks to our guides we manage to avoid any clashes with the darkskins. They appear to be of the more primitive variety, some of them are likely cannibals as well.

We've repaired the two ships we have left and explored the coasts. If this is an island, it's the biggest one we've ever seen - it's more likely to be an entire new continent.
Along the eastern coast live some darkskin tribes, some of which can fish and even farm.
Going further down the easten coast we also come across the village of the sashki tribe - they belong to the same race as the inroki, but their language is slightly different and they profess to often being at war with the inroki. They are overall quite similar, though the sashki are also capable of building boats they use to fish and travel around the coasts. Their people occupy a small strip of the coast and lands to the west. There are darkskins to the south of the sashki as well, it seems.

We've set up our first colony on the continent. We've brought farmers, hunters and foresters, who've begun creating a village. Docks have been established and we've begun trading with the inroki to the south.
Currently we have 700 colonists and 300 military there.

We've built more galleons and flyuts - ships that can easily cross the ocean. Flyuts are for transport, galleons can be used for war or transport.
We have the following colonies: Shale, Port Tide, Goldport, Beaver Dam, the island with the golden mine[suggest a proper name] and the new colony[suggest a proper name]. We've settled more people in all of them, especially the westernmost. We've set up regular routes for transport ships and have freed the colonists from taxation. Every colony has been given a governor to supervise its autonomous development.
At some point I'll make a separate map of the western continent and isles.
