It seems a bit forced. Tainted Chains is nowhere powerful enough to be a build around for an entire deck, so what do you do when you don't draw that card? Play st traft? What else?

True, I guess the deck would have a few control oriented spirits like Eidolon of Rethoric and the rest of the deck would be like a UW Control deck, that was my initial idea.

Spirit Tribal based Prison could work, but it wouldn't even stand up to budget SlowZoo.

I don't think Swans does anything in this deck. A 4/3 flyer for 4 is good, but it's not worth turning your opponent's bolts into recalls

I'd go esper so you can run lingering souls, as well as some hand attack. Also would consider Anafenza for something in the 2-drop slot.

The problem with spiritis is that all the good spirit cards are 3-drops.
