Arlinn's +1 doesn't protect her on an empty field, her token generating ability leaves her in Bolt range and deprives you over her unflipped +1, her flipped +1 is mediocre to poor unless you're already overextended, her Bolt ability puts you back into the position of having no really good way to defend her, her emblem is kind of a joke, and you can't necessarily count on being able to use the ability you want the turn you want it because you can only use either side's abilities once a turn.
