After riding the subway train, squashed between a wall and a fat bloke in a T-shirt, you enter the theatre and meet up with Takauji.
“Geez, how did you get us such good seats?”
“Hell if I know? They were on the ticket.” Takauji shouts. Even though the show hasn’t started, the place is loud as heck. Fans, of all ages and sizes (but mostly males) are chattering to each other, discussing merchandise, songs and whether or not the idols are likely to be virgins or not. You and your spiky-haired friend are in the very front row, giving you a good view of the entire stage. “I guess that’s why they were on a raffle. A lot of dudes were participating in it, too.”
“So you’re saying this is a big deal?” You quickly glance behind you and see a sea of printed T-shirts, headbands with love hearts and glow sticks. It might be just your imagination, but you think over seventy percent of those fans are glaring at you with Takauji with envy. Like, ‘how dare these casuals are sitting in the front row, they’re not even wearing idol-scented deodorant’ or something.
“Maybe? There's quite a lot of guys behind us.” Takauji shrugs his shoulders. “I don’t know much about the idol industry.”
“You know, I thought Kanami would be more hesitant to let you come.”
“Yeah, same. I think she’s feeling a little bit generous today.”

Smoke explodes in the center of the stage, signalling the rising of a platform. It brings in three girls dressed in frilly dance costumes. You notice that they’re around your age. Then you notice the mild joint marks around their wrists and necks, along with the shiny glow of synthetic hair.
They’re androids. Of course they are! It’s not as if your nee-san needed more ammunition! You feel silly for expecting anything else.
“…the Moonlight Valentine trio!”
The crowd roars with approval. People stand up, cheering, dancing and waving their glow sticks about like they're air traffic controllers trying to stop a plane from landing. The three idols on stage skip forward and pose.
“Ufufu, please cheer for me!” The haughty purple one giggles, blowing a kiss.
“I’ll do my best as a princess!” The shy silver one smiles, waving her hand.
“It’s the perfect day for a banquet…” The spooky blonde one states, smiling mischievously.

hmmmm. So Persona Augmentation is defined as using Persona Skills without summoning. Presumably, this includes physical skills.
But those skills are based on stats, so pumping STR/DEX increases the raw power we put into attacks, while MAG would give us more variety and range even without summoning.

Yeah, it’s pretty cool. You can’t help think that it was manufactured that way by whatever company is sponsoring these idols to be as catchy and as appealing to young people as possible. You don’t mind though. You’re not exactly picky about what artist or genre your music has to be. If it sounds good, then it’s good. Celeste might have a different opinion, but she isn’t here.
The songs finish and the idols bow. The crowd screams for an encore, which they happily provide. You watch with anticipation as the LCD screen behind the stage shifts and the idols begin to sing. Then you notice Takauji staring at the screen with what you hope isn’t suspicion.
“Takashi, does that castle look familiar with you?” He whispers.
“No, why?”
“Just a thought..” He nods, and resumes watching. A minute later, he says. “Idol shows are supposed to be loud, right?”
You think back to the last show you attended. Yeah, it had been full of noise. It was mostly because one of the performers tossed her scarf into the audience, which was pounced upon by the nearby fans like wolves towards a bowl of meat.
“Yes, so?” You end up replying.
“Cool.” Then Takauji stands up, cups his hands around his mouth and shouts.
“HEY GIRLS! DISNEY CALLED, AND THEY WANT THEIR—”
Your leg shoots out and slams into Takauji's ankle, knocking him down into his chair. Then you smash your hand over his mouth before the two of you are assaulted by rabid fans, casual fans, the security guards wearing sunglasses indoors, the producers, the idols on stage and everyone else left in the theatre.

It goes like all your spars with Takauji do. You try to punch him and he does some fancy footwork to dodge. You kick and he counters, knocking you flat on your back. Repeat this process a dozen times and you end up with a sore spine and aching legs.
“Damn, you’ve gotten a bit faster. Almost thought you were going to catch me there.”
“One day…” You pant, clutching your kneecaps with your sweaty palms. “I am going to get to your level and I am going to smash your face in.”
