What one thing would you change about the system, or introduce rules more for?

I'm speaking from a 6th edition perspective but I would love to see some more detailed grappling rules.

They should incorporate the madness meters from UA or at least take a note from DG and combine them with the traditional countdown. I know CoC is supposed to be about the descent to madness but the meters really help give an idea of the different ways insanity works.

I'd like them to publish a print version of 7th sometime this century.

Chaosium doesn't do reliable, anon. They have a history of this stuff.

I think Kickstarter backers have had it?

Okay, how do I run a decent horror game?
Books anyone?
Tomes? Folios?
Scrolls? Tablets?
Hand written notes?
I really like Objectivity on YT.

It'll never happen.
I dont know if this is the right place to ask, but:
Is Lovecrafts original material free to use for everyone or is it just cheap? I'm asking because of all the pulpy games with cthulhu in it released in recent years. Also a lot of companies have cthulhu and other monsters in their range. Iirc at some point stuff just goes kind of public domain, if it's old enough. Is that the case here? Also will that happen to tolkiens stuff?

I think Call of Cthulu (the book) might be public domain. I'm not sure, though.

It's public domain now
Would you play Dwarf Fortress: mythos edition?

>Is Lovecrafts original material free to use for everyone or is it just cheap?
It's cheap. Like, really cheap, in my country Call of Cthulhu book (the novels, I mean, not the RPG corebook) cost five, six bucks.
>Also will that happen to tolkiens stuff?
Nope, family of JRR is still avlive and Peter Jackson have some right to it too, IIRC (cause he directed all those movies and shit).
